Drake Baldwin C | ATL
Braves' Drake Baldwin: No timeline for return
Baldwin (oblique) doesn't yet have a timeline for his return, MLB.com reports.
The star catcher landed on the IL on May 19 with a Grade 1 oblique strain, the mildest category, but the best-case scenario still likely has him out until mid-June. Until Baldwin resumes baseball activities, though, a clear target date for his return won't be available.

J.J. Bleday LF | CIN
Reds' JJ Bleday: Homers in win
Bleday went 1-for-4 with a walk and solo home run in Monday's 7-2 win over the Mets.
Bleday's solo shot in the third turned out to be the game-winning hit. His torrid start in a Cincinnati uniform has cooled off -- the outfielder entered Monday on a 3-for-27 run over the previous seven contests -- but he's locked in a regular gig in left field since being called up from Triple-A Louisville. Bleday has seven home runs and 21 RBI while slashing .270/.377/.596 through 25 games.

Reds' Rhett Lowder: Slated to face hitters
Lowder (shoulder) is expected to face hitters Wednesday, MLB.com reports.
Lowder has ramped up his rehab and completed a high-intensity throwing session Monday. The right-hander is working his way back from right shoulder discomfort that cropped up during a May 7 start. Even if a brief rehab assignment is necessary, Lowder could be ready for activation by the end of the week.

Ryan Waldschmidt CF | ARI
Diamondbacks' Ryan Waldschmidt: Moves up order
Waldschmidt batted sixth and went 0-for-5 in Monday's 6-2 win over San Francisco.
Waldschmidt moved up the batting order from ninth to sixth the last two games, as the Diamondbacks incorporated recent call-up Tommy Troy into the lineup. Arizona manager Torey Lovullo slotted Waldschmidt there Sunday and told Alex Weiner of Arizona Sports that upon further reflection, he liked what he saw from the rookie. "I thought [Sunday] it was mostly a reflection of the lineup and who was not in the lineup that pushed him forward," Lovullo said. "But I like the way it looked and I'll probably stay with that for a little while." Waldschmidt has never gone more than one game without a hit since being called up and is batting .321 with five extra-base hits, five steals, seven RBI and nine runs scored over 17 games.

Jordan Lawlar LF | ARI
Diamondbacks' Jordan Lawlar: Takes batting practice
Lawlar (wrist) took on-field batting practice last week, Alex Weiner of ArizonaSports.com reports.
Arizona manager Torey Lovullo said Lawlar felt good following the batting-practice session, though the skipper doesn't believe the infielder is ready for game action. Lawlar is eligible to return from the 60-day injured list June 2, but he'll likely need additional time beyond that to recover from his fractured right wrist before being activated.

Marlins' Owen Caissie: Picks up two RBI in win
Caissie went 2-for-4 with a double and two RBI in Monday's 8-2 victory over the Blue Jays.
Caissie got in on the offensive action, slugging an RBI double in the fifth inning before adding an RBI single in the eighth frame. He's hitting .221 with four homers, eight doubles, 26 RBI, 15 runs and three stolen bases across 47 contests in 2026.

Sanoja went 2-for-4 with two doubles, two RBI and two runs scored in Monday's win over the Blue Jays.
Sanoja racked up a pair of doubles, with his sixth-inning two-bagger plating a pair of runs. The 23-year-old has swung the bat well of late, tallying seven extra-base hits (one homer), 10 RBI and four runs across his past seven contests. Sanoja has started five of the past six games and should continue to see regular playing time while his bat stays hot.

Kyle Stowers LF | MIA
Marlins' Kyle Stowers: Tallies two doubles in Monday's win
Stowers went 2-for-4 with two doubles, two RBI and a run scored in Monday's 8-2 win over the Blue Jays.
Stowers piled up doubles Monday, driving in a run with one in the sixth inning and another in the eighth frame. The 28-year-old has shown some extra-base pop of late, tallying five extra-base hits across his past six contests. The overall numbers for Stowers remain underwhelming, however, as he's hitting .216 with a .658 OPS, three homers, 10 RBI, 16 runs and a stolen base through 32 games after beginning the season on the injured list due to a right hamstring strain.

Janson Junk SP | MIA
Marlins' Janson Junk: Earns third win Monday
Junk (3-5) earned the win Monday, allowing one run on eight hits and no walks over five innings against the Blue Jays. He struck out three.
Junk allowed his fair share of traffic but was able to limit the damage, allowing just one run while capturing his first win since April 28. Monday's outing snapped a nightmarish three-start stretch for the 30-year-old, who had surrendered 19 runs over his previous 16.2 innings. Junk will carry a 4.80 ERA, 1.30 WHIP and 43:13 K:BB across 60 innings (11 starts) into his next outing, tentatively scheduled for Sunday against the Mets.

Fernando Tatis Jr. RF | SD
Padres' Fernando Tatis: Reaches base four times Monday
Tatis went 2-for-2 with two walks and a stolen base in Monday's loss against the Phillies.
Tatis followed up his three-hit performance Sunday by reaching base four times Monday, though both came in losing efforts. The 27-year-old is still searching for his first homer of the campaign, but he has swung the bat much better of late, going 10-for-24 (.417) across the past seven contests while reaching safely in nine consecutive games. His stolen-base total is now up to 13, tied for third-best in the National League.
