San Diego reinstated Vasquez (ankle) from the 15-day injured list Sunday.

Vasquez is back with San Diego after spending just over the minimum time on the shelf due to a bruised right ankle. The right-hander had started in 16 of his 17 appearances prior to landing the shelf while submitting a 4.71 ERA, 1.50 WHIP and 60:27 K:BB across 84 innings, but he's expected to work out of the bullpen initially following his reinstatement, per Kevin Acee of The San Diego Union-Tribune. German Marquez will start Sunday's series finale in Kansas City, and San Diego has already named JP Sears, Walker Buehler, Michael King and Griffin Canning as its probable starters for its upcoming four-game series in Atlanta.

Manager Dave Roberts said that "it's going to be some time" before Ohtani retakes the mound for the Dodgers, Jack Harris of the California Post reports.

The two-way superstar was initially expected to make his first start on the mound after the All-Star break Wednesday in Philadelphia, but that plan was scrapped after he felt discomfort in his left knee while playing catch this weekend. Ohtani will continue to serve as Los Angeles' primary designated hitter, however, since the injury presents more problems while pitching due to the "torque of landing on that leg," per Roberts. Ohtani seems unlikely to pitch for at least the next couple weeks but is without an official timeline for his return to the bump.

Contreras is absent from Milwaukee's lineup for their series finale against Miami on Sunday, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.

Contreras went 1-for-5 with an RBI double Saturday, but he will now take a seat for Sunday's game. Gary Sanchez will handle the catching duties and bat seventh for Milwaukee.

Turang (foot) is starting at second base and batting third Sunday against the Marlins, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.

The 26-year-old was scratched from Saturday's lineup after fouling a pitch off his foot Friday, but he's been cleared to play after doing some running on the field pregame. Turang went 0-for-4 with a walk and a strikeout to open the second half Friday, but he's been productive at the plate in July with seven doubles, two homers, two steals, 12 RBI and seven runs through 12 games.

Carrigg is absent from Sunday's lineup against Cincinnati.

Carrigg will ride the bench for the second time during this three-game set against the Reds. Jake McCarthy will shift to center field in place of Carrigg.

Arroyo is out of the lineup for the series finale against Colorado on Sunday.

After being lifted for a pinch hitter in the seventh inning Saturday, Arroyo will ride the pine Sunday. Spencer Steer will man second base and bat cleanup for the Reds.

Adames went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Saturday's 4-3 loss to the Mariners.

Adames launched a home run to right field in the sixth inning, recording his second homer in his last two games. The veteran shortstop has recorded at least one hit in three straight games and is now batting .222 with 10 RBI, seven runs scored, three long balls and a stolen base across 51 plate appearances in July. He's slashing .230/.280/.432 with 47 runs scored, 42 RBI, 17 home runs and two stolen bases in 393 plate appearances this season.

Devers went 1-for-5 with a solo home run in Saturday's 4-3 loss to the Mariners.

Devers hit a leadoff homer to left field in the sixth inning, giving the Giants a 2-0 lead. The veteran infielder had gone 0-for-11 in his previous three outings and is now batting .271 with 11 runs scored, nine RBI and five home runs across 58 plate appearances in July. Overall, he's slashing .245/.314/.477 with 53 RBI, 50 runs scored and 20 long balls in 417 plate appearances this season.

Harrison (elbow) said a precautionary MRI returned "all good" and that he had no issues during his bullpen session Saturday, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.

The left-hander landed on the shelf July 8 due to elbow soreness, but he appears to have avoided a serious injury and quickly returned to mound work. Harrison will be eligible to come off the injured list Friday, though he may need to face live batters before rejoining Milwaukee's rotation.

Lopez (finger) is out of the lineup for Sunday's matchup against Milwaukee.

After taking a groundball off his right ring finger in the second inning of Saturday's game, Lopez will be on the bench for the series finale against Milwaukee. Javier Sanoja will play shortstop and bat cleanup in Lopez's absence Sunday.
