Troy is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Mariners.

Troy will hit the bench for the series finale while the Diamondbacks go with Tim Tawa in left field. The 24-year-old Troy had started in each of Arizona's last six games, going 5-for-19 with two doubles and a 3:4 BB:K while scoring five runs.

Del Castillo is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Mariners.

The Diamondbacks are giving Ketel Marte a day off from playing second base but keeping his bat in the lineup at designated hitter, so Del Castillo will be the odd man out of the starting nine as a result. Del Castillo had served as Arizona's designated hitter for the past five games, going 4-for-14 with a home run, two walks, three RBI and an additional run during that stretch. The 26-year-old could soon be at risk of losing hold of his strong-side platoon role, however; Pavin Smith (elbow) is in the midst of a rehab assignment and could take over as the Diamondbacks' primary DH if he's activated from the 60-day injured list during the upcoming week.

Moreno is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Mariners.

Moreno will be rested for the series finale after he started at catcher Friday and Saturday, going 3-for-9 with a double, two RBI and a run between those contests. Aramis Garcia will step in for Moreno behind the dish Sunday.

Smith is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Phillies, David Vassegh of AM 570 LA Sports reports.

Smith started the previous five games and will get a breather Sunday after going 5-for-14 with a double and two homers during that stretch. Dalton Rushing will take over behind the plate and bat eighth in the series finale versus Philadelphia.

Rumfield was removed from the lineup for Sunday's game against the Giants due to right shoulder inflammation, Patrick Lyons of JustBaseball.com reports.

The 26-year-old was scratched just before the start of Sunday's game, so it's unclear when exactly he picked up the injury. Rumfield should be considered day-to-day heading into Monday's series opener against the Angels.

The Dodgers optioned Gervase to Triple-A Oklahoma City on Sunday, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.

The right-hander has been up with the Dodgers for the past couple weeks but made just one relief appearance. Across his two stints in the majors this season, Gervase has given up one earned run on five hits with a 5:2 K:BB over five innings.

The Dodgers activated Dreyer (shoulder) from the 15-day injured list Sunday, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.

The left-hander has been sidelined by shoulder soreness the past couple weeks but is ready to rejoin the big-league roster. Dreyer has a 2.08 ERA, 0.97 WHIP and 24:6 K:BB with three holds across 21.2 innings this season and should reclaim a high-leverage role now that he's healthy.

Thompson is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Giants.

The left-handed-hitting Thompson will be held out of the starting nine for the third time in five games, with two of those absences coming against left-handed pitchers. Thompson has been seeing fairly steady playing time versus righties since being called up from Triple-A Albuquerque on May 22, but he hasn't made much of a case for maintaining a regular role moving forward. Through his first 30 big-league plate appearances, the 24-year-old has slashed .154/.267/.192 with one extra-base hit (a double), three RBI and one run.

De La Cruz was removed from Sunday's game against Atlanta due to right hamstring tightness. He went 2-for-2 with two runs and his 10th stolen base of the season prior to his departure.

The 24-year-old shortstop sustained the injury Sunday during the fifth inning, when he led off the frame with a likely double but was unable to make it past first base. He's scheduled for medical imaging Monday, per Pat Brennan of The Cincinnati Enquirer, and De La Cruz should continue to be considered day-to-day in the meantime.

Rumfield was scratched from the lineup for Sunday's game against the Giants due to an unspecified reason.

Initially slated to man first base and bat third, Rumfield was removed the starting nine just minutes prior to the game's 3:10 p.m. ET start time. Expect the Rockies to provide an explanation behind Rumfield's late scratch later Sunday. Willi Castro will wind up picking up the start at first base in place of the 26-year-old rookie.
