Cijntje is expected to be promoted to Triple-A Memphis after the All-Star break, Rob Rains of StLSportsPage.com reports.

Cijntje will make the jump to Triple-A after posting a 5.04 ERA and 1.36 WHIP with 100 strikeouts over 80.1 innings in 17 starts with Double-A Springfield so far this season. The 23-year-old is a unicorn in the sport, operating as a switch pitcher, but he has yet to find a groove in 2026.

Seymour (6-2) took the loss Sunday against the Mariners, allowing six runs (five earned) on six hits and three walks while striking out three over 3.1 innings.

After a clean first inning, Seymour ran into trouble in the second, allowing five batters to reach as Seattle plated three runs. He gave up a solo homer to Weston Wilson in the fourth before exiting later in the inning with two runners aboard. Cole Sulser replaced him and immediately surrendered a three-run homer to Randy Arozarena. In seven appearances as a starter or bulk reliever this season, Seymour has posted a 4.13 ERA with a 42:9 K:BB across 33.2 innings.

Cantillo (8-4) earned the win Sunday against the Marlins, allowing one run on six hits and two walks while striking out nine over five innings.

Cantillo threw 57 of his 85 pitches for strikes, generating an outstanding 20 whiffs on 40 swings, and recorded multiple strikeouts in four of his five innings. He navigated around trouble early, loading the bases in the second inning before striking out a pair to escape the jam. The right-hander allowed his lone run in the third but stranded two more runners to stop the bleeding. The 26-year-old heads into the All-Star break in excellent form, posting a 1.59 ERA over his last six starts, including three outings with nine strikeouts.

Walton was promoted to Double-A Akron on Sunday.

Walton will make the leap to the Double-A level after compiling a .275 average with 15 home runs, 55 RBI, 68 runs scored and 21 stolen bases over 302 at-bats in 79 contests with High-A Lake County so far this season. The 22-year-old was selected 66th overall in the 2025 First-Year Player Draft, and he has lived up to the selection to this point.

Montero allowed three runs on four hits across three innings of relief in Sunday's 5-0 loss to the Phillies. He walked one and struck out five.

For the first time across his last four appearances in long relief, Montero allowed a run to cross home plate. Even with the brief stumble, it was a good first half of the season for the righty, who posted a 3.33 ERA, 1.01 WHIP and 65 strikeouts across 97.1 innings. Montero may slide back into Detroit's rotation at some point, but for now, expect him to stick in his bullpen role, as he's been fairly effective in relief.

Troy (shoulder) will undergo an MRI on Monday, Brian Murphy of MLB.com reports.

Troy was forced to miss the final contest of the team's three-game sweep of the Dodgers on Sunday while nursing a right shoulder bruise that he suffered Saturday. The 24-year-old will now undergo additional imaging to determine the severity of his injury. With the All-Star break beginning Monday, Troy could avoid missing any additional action moving forward if the MRI comes back clean.

Busch went 2-for-4 with two doubles, an RBI and a run scored in Sunday's 8-4 win over the Reds.

Busch laced his 16th and 17th doubles of the season to help lead Chicago to victory, and he hit them both against southpaw Andrew Abbott to boot. The first baseman goes into the break with five hits across his last two games, but it's mostly been an underwhelming first half following his breakout 2025. Busch has a .763 OPS, 11 home runs and 49 RBI across 95 contests so far this year. In 2025, he finished with an .866 OPS, 34 homers and 90 RBI in 155 regular-season games.

Bregman went 3-for-5 with a double, a home run, an additional run scored and four total RBI in Sunday's 8-4 win over the Reds.

Bregman goes into the All-Star break with home runs on consecutive days to give himself a little momentum after a mostly uneven first half of the season. The veteran third baseman is batting .241 with a .695 OPS, nine long balls and 41 RBI across 94 contests. During his career, Bregman's best two months by OPS are August and July, so he could be primed for continued success after the break.

Smith went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Sunday's 6-5 loss to the Rangers.

Smith had gone 0-for-11 with a sacrifice fly over his previous four games. He was well on his way to another poor showing, but he turned it around with an eighth-inning homer. The outfielder is batting .218 with a .669 OPS, 12 homers, 34 RBI, 39 runs scored, 13 doubles, one triple and nine stolen bases over 96 contests this season.

Altuve went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Sunday's 6-5 loss to the Rangers.

Altuve went yard in the fourth inning to get the Astros on the board. The second baseman has homered three times over his last six games, though he's at just 11 long balls on the year. He's also batting .235 with a .711 OPS, 27 RBI, 45 runs scored, 13 doubles, one triple and two stolen bases across 74 contests. He's been declining for a few years, but his OPS would be his lowest since he had a .630 mark in the abbreviated 2020 campaign.
