Sullivan will start for the Rockies against the Giants on Saturday.

Sullivan is currently with Triple-A Albuquerque but will be recalled by Rockies to serve as the big club's starter Saturday after Tomoyuki Sugano was scratched due to back spasms. Sullivan has started in four major-league games this season, posting an 0-2 record with an 8.64 ERA, 1.86 WHIP and 12:9 K:BB across 16.2 innings. He hasn't been much better in Triple-A, logging a 5.76 ERA and 1.57 WHIP over 54.2 innings (11 starts).

Sugano will no longer start against the Giants on Saturday due to back spasms.

Sugano was initially given the green light to start Saturday after developing a finger injury in his last outing against the Twins on June 26, when he allowed seven runs on eight hits -- including two home runs -- and one walk while striking out two across five innings. However, he's now dealing with back spasms that will sideline him for Saturday's contest, and it's unclear whether he'll make another turn in the rotation before the All-Star break. In Sugano's absence, the Rockies are expected to recall southpaw Sean Sullivan, who will fill in as Colorado's starter Saturday.

Wells is not in the Yankees' starting lineup against the Twins on Saturday.

Wells will get a breather while Ali Sanchez starts behind home plate and bats ninth. Wells has struggled at the plate this season and has gone 2-for-39 (.051) with one steal, three RBI and 14 strikeouts since May 30.

Caballero is not in the Yankees' starting lineup against the Twins on Saturday.

Caballero will get a breather after going 1-for-3 with a steal, an RBI single and a run scored in Friday's 5-2 win over Minnesota. Anthony Volpe will draw the start at shortstop and bat fifth in Saturday's contest.

Caratini is not in the Twins' starting lineup against the Yankees on Saturday.

Caratini will get a breather while Alex Jackson starts behind home plate and bats ninth while forming a battery with right-hander Zebby Matthews. Caratini has a 1.021 OPS with five home runs, 15 RBI and four doubles over 85 plate appearances since June 1.

Tena went 1-for-5 with a two-run home run in Friday's win over the Pirates.

Getting the start at DH and batting third, Tena took Mitch Keller deep in the third inning for his fourth homer of the year. Tena has mainly been an option off the bench against right-handed pitching of late, amassing just 49 plate appearances since the beginning of June with a .222/.286/.378 slash line, one homer, two steals, five runs and five RBI.

Buxton (hip) will start in center field and bat second against the Yankees on Saturday.

Buxton missed each of the Twins' last four games due to a right hip impingement, but the veteran outfielder has been given the green light to return to action Saturday. He finished the month of June with a .287/.330/.596 slash line with three steals, eight home runs and 16 RBI across 100 plate appearances.

Young has been removed from Saturday's lineup against the Pirates due to left hand soreness.

With Young out of the lineup, the Nationals will start Daylen Lile, Dylan Crews and James Wood in the outfield from left to right while deploying Jose Tena as the designated hitter. It's unclear whether Young's hand injury will prevent him from being available off the bench for Saturday's contest.

Bichette went 2-for-4 with a walk and an RBI in Friday's loss to Atlanta.

The performance snapped a brief seven-game skid in which he'd gone 5-for-25 without a multi-hit effort. Despite that small swoon, Bichette's mostly been on fire over the last month, and in 27 contests since June 3 he's delivered a .343/.368/.565 slash line with 13 extra-base hits (seven doubles, a triple and five homers), 16 runs and 19 RBI.

Caissie went 1-for-5 with a two-run home run in Friday's win over the A's.

The Marlins took advantage of a trip to Sutter Health Park in Sacramento by launching five homers on the night, including Caissie's 390-foot shot the other way to left-center field in the ninth inning off Mason Barnett. Five of Caissie's 11 homers on the season have come in his last 15 games, a stretch in which he's slashing an impressive .357/.396/.762 with 10 runs and 14 RBI.
