Liam Hicks will start behind the plate with Mack on the bench, moving Owen Caissie into the DH spot and allowing Heriberto Hernandez to start in the outfield.

Peraza is not in the Angels' starting lineup against the Red Sox on Friday, Jeff Fletcher of The Orange County Register reports.

Even with southpaw Jake Bennett on the mound for the Red Sox, the righty-hitting Peraza will be on the bench for the start of Friday's game while Vaughn Grissom starts at second base and bats fifth. Over his last seven outings, Peraza has gone 1-for-21 with one RBI, two runs and 10 strikeouts.
