Frazier (elbow) took part in light baseball activities Friday, per MLB.com.

Frazier was placed on the injured list Monday due to right elbow inflammation, but the issue isn't considered major. The veteran infielder could return to action within the next few weeks, though it's unclear what his role will be when he's ready for game action. Frazier had seen his playing time dwindling prior to getting hurt, and the Angels have since called up multiple infielders, but Vaughn Grissom (oblique) is on the IL and may be out longer than Frazier.

Grissom (oblique) has been taking light swings and participating in light baseball activities, per MLB.com.

Grissom hasn't played since June 5, and he landed on the IL with a left oblique strain June 8. Given the nature of his injury, it's a promising sign that he's now able to swing a bat, albeit not at full capacity. It's not yet clear how long Grissom will be sidelined, though it seems likely that he'll need more than a minimum stay on the injured list.

Joyce (shoulder) threw 10 pitches off a mound Friday, Jeff Fletcher of The Orange County Register reports.

It was a short session for Joyce, but it was a tangible step in his recovery given that it was his first time throwing off a mound since his rehab was halted in mid-May. The righty reliever threw only fastballs Friday, per MLB.com, so he has more hurdles to clear before he's ready to resume a minor-league rehab assignment. It's not out of the question that Joyce will be activated off the 60-day IL in late June, but a more likely scenario has him continuing to rehab into July.

Sullivan was removed from his start Friday against the Athletics due to an illness, Patrick Saunders of The Denver Post reports.

Sullivan gave up two hits and zero walks while striking out two batters in three shutout innings, but his MLB debut ended prematurely once he began to feel under the weather. Despite his brief outing, the 23-year-old southpaw may have pitched well enough in an extremely hitter-friendly environment to earn another start with the big club.

Misiorowski (8-2) struck out 15 and earned the win Friday against the Phillies, giving up one hit and no walks in a complete game shutout.

The only baserunner the flamethrowing righty allowed came on a fourth-inning single by Kyle Schwarber, who was then wiped out by a double play. Misiorowski was dominant in every sense of the word, throwing 74 of 95 pitches for strikes while generating a whopping 26 whiffs. The 24-year-old has surrendered just one earned run and 19 hits over his past eight starts (54.1 innings), and he has an 80:9 K:BB during that span.

Strider was removed from Friday's game against the Mets due to right arm soreness.

Strider gave up six runs across the first two innings of the game and was displaying diminished velocity at the start of the fourth, prompting Atlanta's training staff to take him out of the game. It remains unknown what exactly the 27-year-old righty is dealing with, but the team should provide some clarity in the near future.

Bachar will serve as the Marlins' opening pitcher for Saturday's game against the Pirates, Christina De Nicola of MLB.com reports.

The Marlins will be relying on their bullpen to get through Saturday's contest, and it will be Bachar taking the mound to begin the game. The 31-year-old fared well during his latest opening assignment last Saturday against the Rays, striking out three batters across three perfect innings. He'll likely be asked to give the Marlins around 3-to-4 innings and 50 pitches in Pittsburgh.

Grisham was removed from Friday's game against the Blue Jays with right hamstring tightness, Gary Phillips of the New York Daily News reports.

Grisham seemingly tweaked his hamstring while rounding first base after collecting an RBI knock in the sixth inning, and he was taken out of the game immediately afterward. With Jasson Dominguez (shoulder) and Giancarlo Stanton (calf) both still on the IL, Jose Caballero would likely have to move to the outfield if Grisham needs to miss a start or two.

Tovar was scratched from the lineup for Friday's game against the Athletics due to lower left leg soreness, Kevin Henry of The Denver Gazette reports.

Tovar took a foul ball off his leg during Sunday's contest and will now take a seat while he deals with some lingering soreness. Willi Castro will shift to shortstop as a result, opening up second base for Chad Stevens.

Rockies manager Warren Schaeffer said Friday that Dollander will likely undergo surgery to repair the UCL in his right elbow, Kevin Henry of The Denver Gazette reports.

The Rockies were originally optimistic that Dollander would avoid surgery after landing on the IL in May with a sprained elbow, but things appear to have taken a turn after a month of rest. The 24-year-old was transferred to the 60-day IL on Friday and will almost certainly be ruled out for the remainder of the season once he goes under the knife.
