Lin is scheduled to undergo Tommy John surgery, Martin Gallegos of MLB.com reports.

Lin has been out of action at Triple-A since mid-June, and he'll now be forced to miss the rest of the season after deciding to undergo Tommy John surgery. The procedure is likely to keep him out for the vast majority of the 2027 campaign as well.

Bauers is not in the lineup for Saturday's matchup against the Cubs.

Bauers will sit for the second game of a three-game set against the Cubs as left-hander David Peterson takes the mound. Andrew Vaughn will take over at first base and bat fourth for Milwaukee.

Yelich is not in the lineup for Saturday's matchup against the Cubs.

After going 2-for-5 with an RBI double and a strikeout in Friday's series opener, Yelich will take a seat Saturday as the Cubs trot out left-hander David Peterson. Gary Sanchez will serve as the designated hitter and bat fifth for Milwaukee.

Schneemann isn't in the lineup for Saturday's game against Seattle, Tim Stebbins of MLB.com reports.

Schneemann will take a day to collect himself after going just 1-for-24 at the plate with 10 strikeouts across his last eight games. Gabriel Arias will pick up a start at third base and bat seventh.

Bassitt (back) underwent a minor procedure to have bone spurs removed from his back, Jake Rill of MLB.com reports.

Bassitt was placed on the injured list June 8 with low-back discomfort, and his return to the major-league mound will be delayed after undergoing the back procedure. General manager Mike Elias said that the team will see where the 37-year-old stands in his recovery in a "couple weeks" before he potentially throws again, so Bassitt is a safe bet to be sidelined through into late July, at least.

Hart will serve as the opening pitcher in Saturday's game against the Dodgers.

Hart has given up just one run in 7.1 innings since joining the big club June 15, and the Padres will now trust him to handle the top of the Dodgers' order to begin the game. He'll likely work an inning or two before handing the game over to bulk reliever Randy Vasquez.

Jordan isn't in the lineup for Saturday's game against Miami.

Jordan will get a breather Saturday after starting 13 straight games and slashing .267/.280/.444 across 50 plate appearances to begin his MLB career. Bryan Torres will start at third base and bat seventh in Jordan's absence.

Philadelphia signed Pham to a minor-league deal on Saturday, Jorge Castillo of ESPN.com reports.

Pham had been a free agent for just over two weeks after being released by Baltimore on June 12. This will be the 38-year-old's third organization of 2026 after recording 14 plate appearances for the Mets in April. In Pham's most recent action with Triple-A Norfolk, he slashed .175/.254/.381 with four homers in 71 plate appearances.

Carrigg is not in the lineup for Saturday's matchup against Minnesota.

After going 0-for-4 with a walk, strikeout and a run scored in the series opener against Minnesota on Friday, Carrigg will ride the bench Saturday. Jake McCarthy will take over in center field and lead off for Colorado.

Tovar isn't in the lineup for Saturday's game against Minnesota.

Tovar will catch a breather after going 2-for-15 at the plate across his last four starts. Willi Castro will slide over to shortstop as a result, giving Kyle Karros a start at the hot corner.
