Gray went 2-for-4 with two RBI, two runs scored and a stolen base in Tuesday's 6-4 win over the White Sox.

Gray scored on a Brooks Lee sac fly in the third inning before he drove home a pair on an RBI single in the fourth while also swiping his second base of the season. Over his last six games, Gray is 7-for-20 (.350) with one homer, 11 RBI, four runs scored and both of his stolen bases for the season. He's slashing .248/.297/.396 with four home runs, 25 RBI, 13 runs scored and a 7:34 BB:K across 112 plate appearances in 2026.

Verlander (hip) struck out three over five scoreless innings in his first rehab start with Triple-A Toledo on Tuesday.

Verlander induced 10 whiffs on 64 pitches and averaged 93.5 mph with his four-seamer, which is right in line with his velocity from 2025. The 43-year-old's next appearance could come with the Tigers, though the team hasn't yet confirmed as much. Verlander has been sidelined since early April left hip inflammation.

Keaschall went 2-for-4 with two RBI singles and one run scored in Tuesday's 6-4 win over the White Sox.

It was Keaschall's third multi-hit game in his last nine contests, and over his last 25 games, the second baseman is hitting .305 with an .805 OPS across 97 plate appearances. He's raised his season slash line to .249/.323/.322 with one home run, 21 RBI, 27 runs scored, 10 stolen bases and a 20:35 BB:K across 232 trips to the plate.

Shaw (back) began a rehab assignment with Triple-A Iowa on Tuesday, going hitless in three plate appearances.

Shaw started the game in center field in what was his first game action in over two weeks. He should not require many more, if any, rehab at-bats before returning to the Cubs' active roster. Shaw is working his way back from mid-back tightness.

Gomez picked up the save in Tuesday's 6-4 win over the White Sox, recording a pair of strikeouts over 1.1 hitless and scoreless innings.

Since being acquired from the Rays earlier this season, Gomez has become a reliable late-innings arm for manager Derek Shelton and is a perfect 3-for-3 in save chances with Minnesota. Across 12.2 innings with the Twins, Gomez has allowed just two runs (one earned) on six hits with a 16:4 K:BB. He's struck out nearly one-third (32.7 percent) of the batters he's faced.

The Mets re-signed Arroyo to a minor-league contract Tuesday.

Arroyo exercised the opt-out clause in his minor-league deal Monday but quickly agreed to a new contract a day later. The 31-year-old infielder has slashed .304/.333/.446 with five home runs at Triple-A Syracuse this season.

Prielipp (2-3) picked up the win Tuesday against the White Sox, allowing four runs on six hits and two walks with seven strikeouts across six innings.

Making his eighth career start, the rookie Prielipp matched his season high with six innings pitched and generated a season-best 12 swinging strikes on his 94 pitches. After a strong start to his season, Prielipp has surrendered 15 runs on 21 hits and eight walks over his last three starts spanning 14.1 innings. The left-hander owns a 5.26 ERA and 42:17 K:BB across 38.1 innings. After back-to-back starts against the White Sox, Prielipp is slated to face the Royals at home this weekend.

Erceg blew the save in Tuesday's 4-3 extra-inning loss to the Reds, allowing one run on one hit and two walks with two strikeouts in the ninth inning.

Tasked with protecting a 3-2 lead, Erceg came on and allowed a leadoff homer to pinch hitter Will Benson to tie the game. Erceg then walked a pair before getting an inning-ending strikeout. Erceg has been dreadful in his last four outings, surrendering nine runs on 14 hits and two walks with three strikeouts across three innings. He has three blown saves in that span, and it's fair to wonder if he's pitched his way out of the ninth. Erceg has six blown saves in 17 chances this season, while his ERA has ballooned to 6.45 with a 20:15 K:BB across 22.1 innings.

Cameron didn't factor into the decision Tuesday against the Reds, allowing one run on one hit and no walks with eight strikeouts across seven innings.

It was perhaps the best start of Cameron's career, as he matched his career high in innings pitched. His only blemish was a solo homer allowed to Spencer Steer in the fifth inning. Cameron retired all other 21 batters he faced, and it still wasn't enough to get the win as the Kansas City bullpen gave up one run in each of the eighth, ninth and 10th innings. Cameron has three quality starts in his last four outings and owns a 4.22 ERA and 56:17 K:BB across 59.2 innings this season. His 3.38 FIP suggests he's been a bit unlucky, and the left-hander's strikeout rate is up while his walk rate is down compared to his 2025 rookie campaign.

Steer went 2-for-4 with two solo homers and three runs scored in Tuesday's extra-inning win over the Royals.

Both of Steer's homers came against lefties, as he took starter Noah Cameron deep in the fifth inning before tagging reliever Matt Strahm for a solo blast in the eighth. It was Steer's first multi-homer game of the season and snapped an 18-game homer drought. Since the beginning May, Steer is hitting .312 with four home runs, 13 RBI, 24 runs scored and an .848 OPS. For the season, Steer is slashing .277/.351/.461 with nine home runs, 23 RBI, 37 runs scored, three stolen bases and a 21:48 BB:K across 231 plate appearances.
