Miles (2-1) took the loss Sunday against the Orioles, allowing six runs on five hits and three walks over three innings. He struck out two.

Five of the runs charged to Miles came in the third inning, capped by a Colton Cowser three-run homer with two outs. It was the second start of the season for Miles. The right-hander had found success as a bulk reliever prior to Sunday, allowing just one run in his previous 15.1 innings. Miles' ERA now sits at 3.47 with a 1.16 WHIP and 34:12 K:BB across 36.1 innings this season.

Torres is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Cubs.

The left-handed-hitting Torres will retreat to the bench for the second time in the series, with both of his absences coming against left-handed starters. Nelson Velazquez will step in as the Cardinals' starting left fielder in place of Torres, who has gone 6-for-22 with a home run, three RBI and a 2:3 BB:K through his first six big-league games since being called up from Triple-A Memphis on May 22.

Bradish (3-6) earned the win Sunday over the Blue Jays, allowing one unearned run on four hits and three walks over seven innings. He struck out four.

It was another impressive outing from Bradish, who's allowed just four runs (three earned) across 24.1 innings in his last four starts. His ERA is down to 3.44 on the year with a 1.42 WHIP and 65:33 K:BB across 12 starts (65.1 innings). Bradish will look to keep rolling his next time out, tentatively lined up as a rematch with Toronto on the road.

Crooks is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Cubs.

Though Crooks is expected to settle in as the Cardinals' primary catcher, he ended up making just one start during the club's three-game series with the Cubs after being called up from Triple-A Memphis on Friday. Both of the left-handed-hitting backstop's absences have come versus lefties, with Ivan Herrera and Pedro Pages both receiving one start apiece behind the plate in place of Crooks.

Enns cleared waivers and accepted an outright assignment to Triple-A Norfolk on Sunday, Jake Rill of MLB.com reports.

The left-hander was designated for assignment by the Orioles on Tuesday but will stick in the organization after passing through waivers unclaimed. Enns posted a 3.94 ERA, 1.50 WHIP and 13:11 K:BB across 16 innings for Baltimore before being dumped from the 40-man roster.

The Cardinals designated Pushard for assignment Sunday.

Since Pushard was selected in the Rule 5 Draft over the winter, the Cardinals will have to offer him back to the Marlins if he ends up clearing waivers. The 28-year-old right-hander posted a 5.14 ERA, 1.43 WHIP and 6:4 K:BB in seven innings over six appearances out of the St. Louis bullpen and hadn't been used since being reinstated from the 15-day injured list May 16.

Freeland will start at second base and bat ninth in Sunday's game against the Phillies.

Freeland has gone hitless in five at-bats since being called up from Triple-A Oklahoma City on Wednesday, but he'll crack the starting nine for the third time in four games nonetheless. With the Dodgers recently optioning Hyeseong Kim to Triple-A, Freeland should have a clear path to steady playing time at second base in the short term. However, Freeland's opportunities could take a hit once Tommy Edman (ankle) returns from the 60-day injured list, likely at some point in the next couple of weeks.

The Cardinals recalled Dobbins from Triple-A Memphis on Sunday, Jeff Jones of the Belleville News-Democrat reports.

After opening the season on the injured list while completing his rehab from knee surgery, Dobbins made his Cardinals debut April 30 in Pittsburgh and was optioned to Memphis after giving up three runs across 4.1 innings. The right-hander has worked out of the rotation at Triple-A but should immediately be available out of the bullpen for St. Louis since he was scheduled to start Sunday for Memphis. According to Jones, the Cardinals could look to insert Dobbins into the rotation if he's not needed in Sunday's contest.

Call is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Phillies.

Call had started each of the Dodgers' last three games following Teoscar Hernandez's (hamstring) placement on the injured list, going 3-for-9 with a double, a walk, two RBI and a run. The 31-year-old is now holding down an .800 OPS over 70 plate appearances on the season, and the Dodgers may continue to lean on him as a near-everyday player in the outfield while Hernandez is on the shelf. Ryan Ward will replace Call in left field for Sunday's series finale, however.

Garver is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Diamondbacks.

Though he appeared likely to take over as the Mariners' clear No. 1 catcher when Cal Raleigh (oblique) was placed on the injured list earlier this month, Garver has instead been used in a timeshare behind the plate with Jhonny Pereda. Since Raleigh last played May 13, Garver has made seven starts to Pereda's nine.
