Davis (2-2) was tagged with the loss in Tuesday's extra-inning 5-3 loss to the Twins. He allowed three runs (two earned) on two hits and a walk across one inning. He struck out one.

Davis has made 13 relief appearances for the White Sox since his big-league debut April 25, and while he hasn't been bad, his 3.45 ERA across 15.2 innings doesn't stand out either. This outing snapped a streak of three consecutive scoreless appearances for the right-hander, while the earned runs were his first allowed since May 8. Davis has now given up eight runs (six earned) while posting a 12:8 K:BB in 13.2 innings since the beginning of the month.

Basallo went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run and a second run scored in Tuesday's 6-1 win over the Rays.

The 21-year-old slugger took Trevor Martin deep in the fifth inning for the game's final burst of offense. Three of Basallo's eight long balls on the season have come in his last nine games, but he's still having trouble making consistent contact, batting .214 (6-for-28) during that stretch with a 33.3 percent strikeout rate.

Rogers (1-1) earned the win after tossing a scoreless 10th inning in Tuesday's 5-3 extra-innings win over the White Sox. He allowed one hit and struck out one.

Rogers earned the win after the Twins closed things out in the 11th frame. His overall season numbers are shaky, as he owns a 3.54 ERA with a 1.57 WHIP in 20.1 innings across 23 outings. However, he's been turning things around of late and hasn't allowed runs, nor has he issued walks over his last eight appearances (6.2 innings), a span in which he has two saves, two holds and six strikeouts.

Baz (2-5) picked up the win Tuesday, allowing one run on seven hits and two walks over seven innings in a 6-1 victory over the Rays. He struck out nine.

The nine Ks were a season high for the right-hander, who racked up 31 called or swinging strikes among his 99 pitches (69 total strikes). Baz has reeled off three straight quality starts, his first ones in a Baltimore uniform, and over that stretch he's delivered a 2.25 ERA, 1.15 WHIP and 19:8 K:BB over 20 innings as he shows signs of turning his season around. He'll look to stay locked in for his next start, which is scheduled to come on the road early next week in Boston.

Gomez earned his third save of the season in Tuesday's 5-3 extra-innings win over the White Sox. He allowed a run and struck out one in one inning of work.

Gomez entered the game in the 11th inning when the Twins had a three-run lead. Even though he allowed a run when an RBI single from Chase Meidroth scored Munetaka Murakami, Gomez managed to close the door on the win while tossing 11 of his 18 pitches for strikes. Gomez has gone 3-for-3 in save chances this season. Gomez remains a reliable arm in the late-inning mix and owns a 1.04 ERA and 0.81 WHIP across 10 appearances (8.2 innings) in May.

Aranda went 3-for-4 with an RBI in Tuesday's 6-1 loss to the Orioles.

The first baseman was the only Ray to have much success against former teammate Shane Baz, as Tampa Bay wound up with nine hits in total on the night. Aranda has hit safely in five straight games, and he's putting the finishing touches on an impressive May that's seen him slash .359/.436/.500 in 22 contests with five doubles, two homers, 12 runs and 16 RBI.

Lee went 2-for-5 with a double and three RBI in Tuesday's 5-3 extra-innings win over the White Sox.

Lee stepped up when the Twins needed him the most, as his three-run double in the 11th inning was the difference maker for Minnesota. Lee has been mashing the ball of late, racking up three doubles, a homer and six RBI amid a four-game hitting streak. He's hitting .279 with a .745 OPS, seven doubles, a triple, a homer, 13 RBI and 11 runs scored since the beginning of May.

Cantillo (4-2) took the loss Tuesday as the Guardians fell 6-3 to the Nationals, coughing up four runs on three hits and four walks over two innings. He struck out one.

The left-hander had trouble finding the plate once again, adding two wild pitches to his ledger in addition to tying his season high in walks. When Cantillo did get the ball into the strike zone, bad things tended to happen, including a two-run homer off the bat of James Wood. Cantillo has issued at least three free passes in five of six May outings, managing a 4.23 ERA on the month despite a 1.48 WHIP and 18:18 K:BB in 27.2 innings. He'll try to turn things around in June, with his next trip to the mound set to come on the road early next week against the Yankees.

Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said after Tuesday's 15-6 win over the Rockies that Freeland will be recalled from Triple-A Oklahoma City prior to Wednesday's series finale, Sonja Chen of MLB.com reports.

Freeland will be rejoining the 26-man active roster as a replacement for Enrique Hernandez, who will be headed back to the shelf after straining his oblique just two days after being reinstated from the 60-day injured list. The Dodgers designated Santiago Espinal for assignment to clear room on the roster for Hernandez, so the addition of Freeland will strengthen the club's infield depth. After breaking camp with the big club, Freeland slashed .235/.309/.337 with two home runs and eight RBI through 33 games before the Dodgers optioned him to Triple-A on May 11, when shortstop Mookie Betts returned from a stint on the IL. During his upcoming stint with Los Angeles, Freeland is likely to occupy the short side of a platoon at second base with Hyeseong Kim or at third base with Max Muncy (wrist).

Wood went 3-for-4 with a walk, a two-run home run, a second run scored and a stolen base in Tuesday's 6-3 win over the Guardians.

Getting the start in left field, Wood took Joey Cantillo deep in the second inning -- just his third homer of the season off a southpaw, compared to 11 against right-handed pitching. Wood has racked up three or more hits in four of the last nine games, slashing a blistering .444/.535/.750 over that stretch with two doubles, three long balls, two steals, eight RBI and 10 runs.
