France went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Sunday's 5-2 loss to the Athletics.

France blasted an opposite-field solo shot in the seventh inning to cut into the deficit, though the Padres were unable to rally for a victory. Sunday marked France's seventh multi-hit effort across 32 appearances in 2026. He hasn't been a staple of San Diego's everyday lineup, but the veteran infielder has been productive when called upon, slashing .279/.311/.535 with five homers, three doubles, two triples, 16 RBI, 10 runs and a stolen base across 90 plate appearances.

Heim went 2-for-4 with a double, a run scored and a walk in Sunday's win over the Padres.

With Shea Langeliers shifting to designated hitter, Heim drew the start behind the dish and contributed offensively by reaching base three times. Since being traded to the Athletics on May 4, the 30-year-old has gone 4-for-24 (.167) with two doubles, two runs and a walk across eight appearances. Overall, Heim is slashing .206/.271/.349 with a homer, six doubles, eight RBI and six runs across 20 games between Atlanta and the Athletics in 2026.

Ribalta earned the save in Sunday's 2-1 win over Atlanta, striking out one batter across two-thirds of an inning.

Gus Varland was given the first crack at earning the save but was replaced by Richard Lovelady after the former gave up two singles to open the ninth inning. Lovelady proceeded to give up a run and issue a walk before Ribalta was called in, and the latter proceeded to retire both batters he faced for his second save of the season. Ribalta is unlikely to see many more save chances, as those opportunities have tended go to Varland, Lovelady or Clayton Beeter.

Perez (2-3) took the loss against the Nationals on Sunday, allowing one run on five hits and two walks while striking out two across 5.2 innings.

Perez generated only two whiffs in Sunday's start, but he did induce seven groundouts. He limited the Nationals to just one run in his outing, but he was still tagged with the loss due to his Atlanta teammates failing to score until the ninth inning. Perez will bring a 2.70 ERA and 1.03 WHIP across 46.2 innings this season into his next start, tentatively slated for next weekend on the road against Cincinnati.

Cortes went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and a walk in Sunday's win over the Padres.

Cortes started the scoring quickly, lifting a Michael King changeup over the right-field fence for a leadoff homer. The outfielder later added a single in the ninth inning to record his 11th multi-hit effort of the campaign. Cortes has emerged as one of the Athletics' most consistently productive bats in 2026, slashing .350/.430/.553 with 14 extra-base hits (five homers), 17 RBI, 13 runs and a stolen base across 142 plate appearances.

Wood went 0-for-2 with two walks, a steal and a run scored during Washington's 2-1 win over Atlanta on Sunday.

Wood drew a walk and stole second base in the eighth inning before being brought home two batters later on an RBI single by Luis Garcia. It was the eighth steal of the season for Wood, who is on track to surpass his 2025 total of 15 stolen bases. He has reached base safely in nine of his last 10 games, and over that span he has gone 13-for-38 (.342) with one home run, five RBI, nine runs scored and an 8:9 BB:K.

Barlow picked up the save in Sunday's 5-2 victory over the Padres. He allowed no hits or walks while striking out one over two-thirds of an inning.

Hogan Harris was originally brought in for the save but struggled to find the zone, prompting manager Mark Kotsay to turn to Barlow with one out and two runners on base in a three-run game. The right-hander was up to the task, striking out Nick Castellanos before getting Fernando Tatis to fly out and secure the victory. It marked Barlow's first save of the campaign after he blew his previous opportunity March 28. It remains to be seen whether the veteran will regularly factor into the Athletics' unsettled ninth-inning equation, though he has posted solid marks with a 2.88 ERA and 0.84 WHIP across 25 innings this season.

Griffin (6-2) earned the win against Atlanta on Sunday, allowing three hits and one walk while striking out six across six scoreless innings.

It was a strong bounce-back performance from Griffin, who gave up 14 earned runs over his two starts prior to Sunday's game. He was able to get out of a couple of sticky spots -- including a bases-loaded situation in the fourth inning -- to come away with his fourth quality start of the season. Griffin is up to 60 strikeouts on the season, which is second on the Nationals behind Cade Cavalli (61) and 16th in the National League. Griffin will take a 3.63 ERA and 1.13 WHIP across 62 innings into his next start, which is slated for next weekend at home against the Padres.

Rogers (2-6) allowed four runs on four hits and two walks while striking out two over 4.2 innings to take the loss in Game 2 of Sunday's doubleheader versus the Tigers.

Rogers took his sixth straight loss, and he's allowed at least three runs in each of those outings. He's been rough in May, giving up 18 runs (17 earned) over 12.1 innings across three starts. For the season, he's at a 6.96 ERA, 1.62 WHIP and 35:17 K:BB through 42.2 innings over nine starts. Rogers is tentatively projected for a home start versus the Blue Jays his next time out.

King (4-3) took the loss Sunday, allowing four runs on five hits and four walks over 3.2 innings against the Athletics. He struck out four.

King wasn't at his sharpest, surrendering a leadoff homer to Carlos Cortes and never settling into a rhythm before losing the zone and being lifted in the fourth inning. Sunday's shaky outing came on the heels of a dominant three-start stretch in which King posted a 0.96 ERA and 0.91 WHIP across 18.2 innings. Overall, the right-hander owns a 2.76 ERA, 1.15 WHIP and 63:28 K:BB through 62 innings (11 starts) and will look to get back in the win column his next time out, which is tentatively scheduled for Saturday against the Nationals.
