Brazoban will serve as the Mets' opening pitcher for Saturday's game against the Yankees, Abbey Mastracco of the New York Daily News reports.

The Mets seem to like using the right-handed Brazoban as an opener ahead of left-hander David Peterson, as the two are now set to work in tandem for the third time this month. Brazoban's last opening assignment didn't go very well, as he allowed two earned runs and walked three batters over one inning against Arizona and was hit with his first loss of the season. He'll aim to bounce back Saturday in what will likely be a one-inning start.

Ramos was removed from Friday's game against the Athletics due to right quad tightness, Shayna Rubin of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Ramos appeared to be in discomfort after taking a swing in the sixth inning. He finished out the at-bat but was replaced in the outfield once the two teams switched sides. The Giants will likely send Ramos in for imaging to determine the severity of his injury, and if the 26-year-old has to miss any amount of time, Drew Gilbert would be next in line to start in left.

O'Hoppe was removed from Friday's game against the Dodgers due to left wrist irritation.

O'Hoppe returned from the injured list Friday after missing three weeks with a fractured left wrist. However, he appeared to be favoring his wrist during the fourth inning of Friday's game and was later taken out of the game at the beginning of the sixth. It's unclear if the 26-year-old backstop will have to return to the injured list, but he could sit out at least a game or two to give his wrist extra time to heal. Sebastian Rivero would be in line to start any games O'Hoppe has to miss.

Henderson went 2-for-5 with a double and an RBI in Friday's 3-2 loss to Washington.

Henderson is mired in a deep power outage, but he was at least able to rip his second double of the month of May on Friday. The All-Star shortstop hasn't homered since April 26, which is a 16-game drought without a long ball. He's hitting a paltry .202 with 18 extra-base hits, 22 RBI, 23 runs scored and five stolen bases across 188 at-bats on the year.

Bleday went 3-for-5 with two doubles, one RBI and two runs scored during the Reds' 7-6 win over the Guardians on Friday.

Bleday's RBI fielder's choice in the ninth inning ended up being the game winner in Friday's series opener. He has been hot at the plate recently, having logged multi-hit games in three of his last five games while going 10-for-18 with two home runs, three doubles, 12 RBI and six runs scored over that span. Bleday has a 1.241 OPS with six home runs and 19 RBI across 71 plate appearances this season.

Harper went 4-for-5 with two RBI and a run scored in Friday's 11-9 extra-inning win over the Pirates.

Harper delivered his first four-hit attack of the season Friday, also turning in his third game with at least three knocks in the month of May. The All-Star first baseman is off to an excellent start at the dish in 2026, slashing .282/.372/.534 with 20 extra-base hits, 26 RBI and 24 walks to go with 26 runs scored and two stolen bases across 188 plate appearances.

Hoskins went 1-for-3 with a solo home run, two walks and an additional run scored during the Guardians' 7-6 loss to the Reds on Friday.

Hoskins reached base safely in three of his five plate appearances in Friday's game, and he collected his fourth home run of the season when he took Andrew Abbott deep to left field in the sixth. Hoskins has logged three homers in 12 games since May 1, but he has gone just 5-for-28 (.179) this month.

Holmes was diagnosed with a fractured fibula following his removal from Friday's game against the Yankees, Laura Albanese of Newsday reports.

Holmes suffered the injury after getting hit on the right leg by a 111-mph line drive off the bat of Spencer Jones in the fourth inning. Holmes remained in the game for a short while afterward before exiting midway through the fifth, finishing with four earned runs allowed on seven hits and two walks while logging eight strikeouts in 4.1 frames. The Mets haven't yet offered a timetable for the 33-year-old's return, but manager Carlos Mendoza said after the game that Holmes will be out for "a long time," so a move to the 60-day IL is possible.

Shugart allowed one hit and no walks in two scoreless innings of relief Friday against the Pirates. He struck out one.

Since being recalled from Triple-A Lehigh Valley in the middle of April, Shugart has given the Phillies quality work out of the bullpen while operating mostly in middle relief. Through 15.2 innings for Philadelphia, the right-hander boasts a 1.72 ERA, 0.96 WHIP and 15:3 K:BB.

Harris went 1-for-4 with a solo homer in Friday's 3-2 extra-inning win against Boston.

Harris extended Atlanta's lead to 2-0 in the fourth, smacking a solo homer off Connelly Early. It was Harris' first home run since May 1 against the Rockies and seventh of the season. The long ball also extended his hit streak to seven games, and over that span he has gone 10-for-28 (.357) with two RBI and four runs scored.
