De La Cruz went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in Wednesday's 14-1 loss to the Dodgers.

De La Cruz's bat has been nearly unstoppable lately with homers in five straight games. Since Aug. 22, he has gone 31-for-69 (.449) with six homers and 13 RBI over 17 contests. The shortstop is up to a career-high 26 homers on the year while adding 70 RBI, 89 runs scored, 26 doubles, five triples, 25 stolen bases and an .873 OPS across 127 contests.

Lowder (6-10) allowed seven runs on seven hits and two walks while striking out four over 3.1 innings to take the loss versus the Dodgers on Wednesday.

Lowder gave up five extra-base hits (four doubles and a home run) during his short start. He looks to be running out of steam late in the season, having given up 25 runs (23 earned) across 25 innings over his last five games. Lowder is at a 5.81 ERA, 1.53 WHIP and 94:49 K:BB across 119.1 innings through 26 outings (23 starts) this year. He is tentatively projected for a home rematch versus the Dodgers next week.

Hernandez went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run, a double, four total RBI and two runs scored in Wednesday's 14-1 win over the Reds.

Hernandez had gone just 4-for-27 (.148) over his previous 13 games, adding no extra-base hits or RBI during the power drought. He's now up to three homers and nine RBI over 30 contests this season. Hernandez continues to fill a utility role, and he's batting .222 with a .692 OPS across 68 plate appearances.

Muncy went 1-for-5 with a two-run home run in Wednesday's 14-1 win over the Reds.

Muncy has an extra-base hit in four straight games. This was his first homer since Aug. 21 versus the Pirates, but he's breaking out of the slump he endured in late August and early September. The third baseman is batting .252 with an .845 OPS, 27 homers, 70 RBI, 74 runs scored, 23 doubles, one triple and two stolen bases over 134 contests this year.

Tucker went 3-for-5 with a solo home run, a double and a second run scored in Wednesday's 14-1 win over the Reds.

This was Tucker's second home run over his last six games, though he's gone just 4-for-19 at the plate in that span. The outfielder's blast was just insurance in this contest, coming in the eighth inning of the blowout. Tucker is batting .225 with a .684 OPS, 13 long balls, 60 RBI, 76 runs scored, 21 doubles, three triples and 10 stolen bases over 138 contests this year.

Betts went 3-for-5 with a two-run home run and two additional runs scored in Wednesday's 14-1 win over the Reds.

Betts has hit safely in 13 of his last 15 games, supplying three homers and 14 RBI in that span. The shortstop is batting .249 with a .742 OPS, 19 homers, 60 RBI, 61 runs scored, 19 doubles and one stolen base over 108 contests. While he missed a month early in the year due to an oblique strain, he's on the cusp of another 20-homer campaign and will reach it soon given his hot start to September (1.224 OPS through eight games).

Yamamoto (13-8) allowed one run on three hits and a walk while striking out 10 over seven innings to earn the win over the Reds on Wednesday.

Yamamoto limited the damage to an Elly De La Cruz solo home run in the fourth inning. This victory snapped a three-start winless stretch for Yamamoto, who continues to be among the most reliable starters in baseball. This was his third double-digit strikeout performance of the year. He has pitched to a 2.62 ERA, 0.88 WHIP and 171:39 K:BB through 172 innings over 26 starts. Yamamoto is lined up to make his next start in a rematch at Cincinnati next week.

Arenado went 2-for-3 with a solo home run and a walk in Wednesday's 5-2 loss to the Royals.

Arenado has homered twice over his last four games, and he has four RBI in that span. The third baseman is now batting .236 with a .742 OPS, 69 RBI, 67 runs scored, 21 doubles, one triple and four stolen bases over 137 contests. While his consistency at the plate hasn't bounced back, his 23 home runs are the most he's hit in a season since he clubbed 26 in 2023.

Soroka (8-5) allowed three runs on three hits and a walk while striking out four over four innings to take the loss Wednesday against the Royals.

Soroka threw 34 of 58 pitches for strikes, but he was tagged for a three-run home run by Bobby Witt in the fifth inning, which was the difference in the game. The right-hander was more efficient than Zac Gallen, who started the game and threw 68 pitches (42 strikes). Soroka has a 3.53 ERA, 1.16 WHIP and 95:25 K:BB across 99.1 innings this season. Arizona's pitching plans are not yet clear for next week, but considering his pitch count, it's possible the 29-year-old work in a piggyback again if the team opts not to expand its rotation to six starters.

Gallen allowed two runs (one earned) on four hits and two walks while striking out one over 3.1 innings in a no-decision versus the Royals on Wednesday.

Gallen threw 42 of 68 pitches for strikes in his first big-league action in two months after an absence due to right elbow inflammation. The right-hander struggled heavily prior to his stint on the injured list, and it remains to be seen how he'll fare against a tougher opponent. On the year, he has a 6.22 ERA, 1.57 WHIP and 62:33 K:BB with 19 home runs allowed across 101.1 innings. He worked in tandem with Michael Soroka for this game, but it's unclear how the workload will be set when this spot in the rotation comes up against Miami next week.
