Kelly (leg) is listed as the Diamondbacks' probable starting pitcher for Wednesday's game against the Rockies in Arizona.

Kelly was lifted midway through the sixth inning of his latest start Friday against the Dodgers due to right leg cramping, but the veteran right-hander looks ready to return to the hill on four days' rest after receiving treatment for the issue. Though Kelly's ERA (4.88) and WHIP (1.47) currently sit at career-worst levels, he's at least consistently provided the Diamondbacks with length in his starts, working at least five innings in 17 consecutive outings.

Peguero (hamstring) began a rehab assignment with Triple-A Sacramento on Tuesday, walking all three batters he faced and getting charged with three runs.

It certainly wasn't the result Peguero was looking for, but he could be a bit rusty given that it was his first game appearance since late May. The righty reliever is working his way back from a strained hamstring and will need a few more rehab outings before rejoining the Giants' bullpen.

Matthews (foot) is listed as the Twins' probable starting pitcher for Wednesday's game against the Orioles.

Called up from Triple-A St. Paul on Friday to replace the injured Joe Ryan (glute) in the rotation, Matthews picked up a win over the Brewers while striking out four and giving up six runs (three earned) on seven hits and two walks before exiting after five innings due to a right foot blister. The right-hander was apparently able to complete a between-starts bullpen session without incident and won't end up having to miss a turn through the rotation.

Rutschman went 1-for-3 with two walks in Tuesday's 5-3 loss to the Blue Jays.

Rutschman made his debut for the Red Sox and batted third in the order. He was acquired by Boston at the trade deadline but was unable to play before Tuesday due to wrist inflammation. He should serve as the team's primary catcher with Connor Wong slotted as the backup.

Red Sox interim manager Chad Tracy said Tuesday that Anthony (finger) is "getting closer" to a rehab assignment, MLB.com reports.

Anthony recently graduated from hitting in the cages to hitting off a Trakjet machine. He last appeared in a game May 4, and given the length of his absence, he may need a longer-than-normal rehab assignment. The report projects Anthony's return for late August or early September.

Texas manager Skip Schumaker mentioned Quantrill as a potential replacement in the rotation for the injured Nathan Eovaldi (elbow), Kenndi Landry of MLB.com reports.

Schumaker also noted that Jordan Montgomery is in the mix to take Eovaldi's spot in the rotation, which comes up Wednesday against the Angels. Quantrill has made seven starts for the Rangers this season, most recently throwing six innings against the Giants on Aug. 3. During his time as a starter, Quantrill has posted a 3.34 ERA and 1.11 WHIP over 32.1 innings.

Rangers manager Skip Schumaker said Tuesday that Montgomery is considered as a possible replacement for Nathan Eovaldi (elbow) in the rotation, Kennedi Landry of MLB.com reports.

Montgomery returned from the 60-day injured list last week and tossed four innings and 79 pitches in relief Sunday against the Orioles in his Rangers debut. At the time Montgomery was activated, manager Skip Schumaker said the left-hander would be used out of the bullpen, but circumstances have changed with Eovaldi landing on the shelf Monday. Cal Quantrill is another option to replace Eovaldi.

Adell went 1-for-2 with two walks, a home run and two RBI in Tuesday's 6-4 loss to Detroit.

Adell swatted a solo home run in the eighth inning -- his first in a Guardians uniform -- and then plated another run with a sacrifice fly in the ninth. The RBI were also the first for Adell since Cleveland acquired him at the trade deadline. He's batting .167 (4-for-24) with 10 strikeouts over seven games for the Guards.

DeLauter went 3-for-5 with a solo home run in Tuesday's 6-4 loss to the Tigers.

DeLauter's blast tied the game in the top of the third inning, as he remains consistent and productive deep into his rookie season. The homer was the 13th of the season for the outfielder, who has an .800 OPS over a career-high 464 plate appearances. Since the break, he has an .820 OPS with four steals, two homers, 11 RBI and 14 runs scored over 22 games.

De La Cruz went 1-for-4 with two RBI in Tuesday's 5-4 extra-inning win over the White Sox.

De La Cruz was part of a late-game, three-run rally in the eighth inning to tie the game. He had a run-scoring single as part of the rally and then hit a sacrifice fly in the 10th to produce the go-ahead run. It was his third game this month with multiple RBI, and De La Cruz has knocked in eight over eight August contests.
