Rocker did not factor into the decision Sunday against the Brewers, allowing two runs on four hits and four walks while striking out seven over three innings.

Rocker needed at least 25 pitches in each of his three innings, throwing just 48 of 86 pitches for strikes before his day ended. Despite the traffic, he limited the damage to two runs, both of which came as Milwaukee opened the first inning with four consecutive baserunners. Rocker has struggled throughout August, posting a 6.00 ERA across six starts. On the season, he owns a 4.44 ERA, 1.43 WHIP and 124:55 K:BB over 129.2 innings and is scheduled to face Tampa Bay on Friday.

Matthews (9-8) earned the win Sunday against the White Sox, allowing one run on five hits while striking out five over a career-high 8.1 innings. He did not issue a walk.

Matthews retired the first 17 batters he faced and carried a shutout into the ninth inning despite generating only nine whiffs on 103 pitches. He allowed two singles in the final frame before exiting and watched from the dugout as one came around to score. Matthews has now earned a win in five consecutive starts and has been particularly sharp over his last three, allowing just three runs across 21 innings with a 16:2 K:BB during that span. He's scheduled for a rematch with the White Sox on Saturday.

Rodriguez went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run in Sunday's 7-5 win over the Cubs.

Rodriguez was the first of four Reds to homer, launching a three-run blast in the fourth inning. The rookie has found his footing of late, going 10-for-27 (.370) with four homers, seven RBI and seven runs over his past seven games. In total, he's hitting .230/.309/.459 with four homers, nine RBI and nine runs across 19 games (68 plate appearances) since being promoted to the majors Aug. 4.

Urquidy did not factor into the decision Sunday against the Twins, allowing one run on three hits while striking out one over five innings of relief.

Urquidy inherited a 4-0 deficit in the fourth inning after Jordan Hicks and Tyler Gilbert handled the first three frames. He went on to finish out the contest while Luke Keaschall tagged him for his only run on a solo homer in the seventh. Across one start and three relief appearances since being recalled Aug. 14, Urquidy has allowed nine runs over 17.2 innings with a 14:4 K:BB. With Davis Martin back in the rotation, Chicago no longer requires both Urquidy and Erick Fedde in the mix, leaving Urquidy's role somewhat uncertain moving forward.

Stewart went 2-for-5 with a solo home run in Sunday's 7-5 win over the Cubs.

Stewart pummeled an elevated sweeper from Trent Thornton to straightaway center field for a solo homer in the seventh inning. The 22-year-old slugger has now homered in three straight games and in four of his past five contests. Through 137 games, Stewart is slashing .266/.338/.489 with 31 homers, 105 RBI, 79 runs and 12 stolen bases as he makes a compelling case for National League Rookie of the Year honors.

Stephenson went 2-for-5 with a two-run home run and a double in Sunday's 7-5 win over the Cubs.

Stephenson put the Reds ahead 6-3 with a two-run homer off Shota Imanaga in the fifth inning. The catcher has been clicking at the plate since the All-Star break, slashing .274/.346/.556 with eight homers, 25 RBI and 18 runs over his past 35 games. In total, Stephenson is hitting .250/.328/.427 with 14 homers, 49 RBI and 36 runs across 108 contests.

Pagan picked up the save Sunday against the Cubs. He allowed one run on a hit and no walks with no strikeouts over one inning.

Entering with a three-run cushion, Pagan served up a solo homer to Pete Crow-Armstrong but was able to close things out in the ninth inning for his 19th save of the campaign. The veteran hurler has converted all 13 of his save opportunities since July 1, when he returned from an almost two-month absence due to a left hamstring strain. Overall, Pagan owns a 4.05 ERA, 1.05 WHIP and 34:9 K:BB across 33.1 innings in 2026.

Rasmussen did not factor into the decision Sunday against the Padres, allowing two runs on four hits and two walks while striking out six over six innings.

Rasmussen kept San Diego off the board outside of the fourth inning, when Xander Bogaerts delivered a two-run single. It marked the right-hander's first start without a win since July 9, snapping a streak of seven consecutive victories. He's been excellent throughout August, posting a 2.57 ERA with a 37:8 K:BB across 35 innings. Rasmussen is scheduled to make his next start Friday against the Rangers.

Imanaga (8-10) took the loss Sunday, allowing six runs on eight hits and a walk over five innings against the Reds. He struck out four.

Imanaga spun three scoreless innings before everything fell apart in the fourth and fifth frames, when he surrendered six runs via three homers. In five August starts, the southpaw posted a 5.96 ERA, 1.54 WHIP and 29:6 K:BB across 22.2 innings. The 32-year-old will take a 4.01 ERA, 1.14 WHIP and 148:35 K:BB across 150.1 innings (27 starts) into his next outing, tentatively scheduled for Friday against the Marlins.

Burns (15-3) earned the win Sunday, allowing three runs (two earned) on six hits and a walk over 5.2 innings against the Cubs. He struck out seven.

Burns surrendered a leadoff homer to Pete Crow-Armstrong but was able to turn in a fairly respectable outing, falling one out shy of a quality start. The hard-throwing right-hander took a step back in August, posting a 4.13 ERA, 1.29 WHIP and 43:9 K:BB across 32.2 innings (six starts) in the month. Overall, Burns owns a stellar 2.79 ERA, 1.16 WHIP and 171:50 K:BB through 145.1 innings (26 starts). His next start is tentatively scheduled for Saturday against the Brewers.
