  • Dodgers' Yoshinobu Yamamoto: Quality start in loss

Yamamoto (7-5) allowed three runs on six hits and two walks while striking out six over six innings to take the loss Saturday versus the Orioles.

This was the first time Yamamoto allowed multiple runs since he was tagged for five runs over 6.1 frames in a May 12 starts versus the Giants. He had given up just four runs over 35.2 innings across his previous five starts, but the Orioles were able to get to him in the second and fourth innings of this contest. Yamamoto is up to 11 quality starts in 14 outings this season, pitching to a 2.65 ERA, 0.87 WHIP and 86:17 K:BB over 91.2 innings. His next start is projected to be on the road versus the Padres.

  • Yennier Cano RP | BAL

Orioles' Yennier Cano: Cleans up mess for save

Cano allowed a hit and struck out one while walking none over two-thirds of a scoreless inning to earn the save in Saturday's 3-2 win over the Dodgers.

Baltimore didn't want to go back to Ryan Helsley after the closer took a blown save Friday in just his second appearance returning from elbow inflammation. Andrew Kittredge was initially given the save opportunity, but he allowed a solo home run to Shohei Ohtani and then put Freddie Freeman aboard with a walk. Cano was next in line, and while he allowed a single and an error to let an inherited runner score, he was able to keep the lead for his first save of the season. He has been charged with just one unearned run over 6.1 innings in June, adding a 9:1 K:BB and two holds over nine outings. He's at a 2.08 ERA, 0.81 WHIP and 25:5 K:BB through 26 innings with one save and six holds overall this year. Cano has also allowed only four of 20 inherited runners to score, an improvement on last year when he permitted 10 of 21 inherited runners to score.

  • Trevor Rogers SP | BAL

    Orioles' Trevor Rogers: Quiets Dodgers

Rogers (4-7) allowed one hit and two walks while striking out six over seven scoreless innings to earn the win over the Dodgers on Saturday.

Rogers was locked in for his best outing of the season and his first scoreless showing since Opening Day. He threw 60 of 96 pitches for strikes in the dominant performance against a tough opponent. Rogers has given up just six runs and just one homer over 23.1 innings in June, but overall he has a 5.30 ERA, 1.36 WHIP and 54:24 K:BB over 73 innings through 14 starts this season. After a six-start losing streak from mid-April to late May, the left-hander has a 2.97 ERA and 0.99 WHIP in his past five outings.

  • Red Sox's Masataka Yoshida: Picks up steal

Yoshida went 1-for-4 with a stolen base in Saturday's 5-1 win over the Mariners.

Yoshida has hit safely in his last five games, going 6-for-18 (.333) in that span. The 32-year-old has settled into a part-time role lately as he battles Mickey Gasper for playing time at designated hitter. Yoshida is hitting .248 on the year and has added a .660 OPS, one home run, two steals, 10 RBI and 15 runs scored over 164 plate appearances. His plate discipline remains pretty good, but with less power than ever, Yoshida doesn't add much in fantasy.

  • Caleb Durbin 3B | BOS

Red Sox's Caleb Durbin: Notches two steals

Durbin went 2-for-4 with one RBI and two stolen bases in Saturday's 5-1 win over the Mariners.

Durbin was the only hitter for either team to log multiple hits in the contest. He is 6-for-11 with two homers, three RBI and a double over his last three contests as he works to shake off his slump from earlier in June. On the season, the third baseman is hitting .208 with a .616 OPS, five home runs, seven steals, 29 RBI and 25 runs scored over 67 games. Despite the underwhelming offense, Durbin continues to have an everyday role, sitting just once in Boston's past 20 games.

  • Wilyer Abreu RF | BOS

Red Sox's Wilyer Abreu: Hits go-ahead homer

Abreu went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run, a walk and a second run scored in Saturday's 5-1 win over the Mariners.

Abreu's blast put the Red Sox ahead in the fourth inning, and they never looked back. The outfielder has gone deep twice over his last eight games, batting .290 (9-for-31) in that span. On the season, he's hitting .275 with a .767 OPS, nine homers, 36 RBI, 33 runs scored, five stolen bases, 16 doubles and a triple over 73 games. After primarily working as a platoon player in previous seasons, Abreu is handling more of an everyday role in 2026, having already set a career high with 90 plate appearances versus left-handed pitching. He's taken advantage of the additional opportunities with a .921 OPS against southpaws.

  • Denzer Guzman 3B | LAA

Angels' Denzer Guzman: Swats second homer in two days

Guzman went 1-for-4 with a solo home run and a walk in a 7-0 win against the Athletics on Saturday.

Guzman produced the only homer of the game with a 376-foot solo shot to left field in the seventh inning. The 22-year-old has gone deep in back-to-back contests after slugging 12 long balls across 58 games with Triple-A Salt Lake prior to his June 8 call-up. Guzman has been getting steady run for the big-league club, as he's started at third base in nine straight games.

  • Connelly Early SP | BOS

Red Sox's Connelly Early: Wild but steady in win

Early (6-5) allowed one run on two hits, two walks and three hit batsmen while striking out seven over six innings to earn the win over the Mariners on Saturday.

Early threw just 57 of 98 pitches for strikes in this outing, hitting three batters after he had plunked six all season entering the day. He had gone three starts without completing six frames to begin June, losing all of those games while allowing 12 runs over 14.2 innings. Early now has a 3.64 ERA, 1.27 WHIP and 79:31 K:BB through 81.2 innings over 15 starts this season. The left-hander is projected to make his next start at home versus the Yankees.

  • Mariners' Emerson Hancock: Gives up five runs in loss

Hancock (5-4) allowed five runs on four hits and two walks while striking out six over 5.1 innings to take the loss Saturday versus the Red Sox.

Hancock has had two bad starts in a row, giving up 11 runs over 9.1 frames in that span. The right-hander struggled in the fourth and sixth innings, and another weak showing from the Mariners' offense provided no room for error. Hancock is now at a 3.60 ERA, 1.02 WHIP and 81:19 K:BB over 85 innings across 15 starts this season. His next outing is tentatively projected to be on the road versus the Guardians.

  • J.T. Ginn SP | ATH

Athletics' J.T. Ginn: Falls to Halos

Ginn (5-4) took the loss against the Angels on Saturday, allowing four runs on seven hits and three walks while striking out five batters over 5.1 innings.

Ginn tossed a 1-2-3 first inning but mostly struggled after that. He gave up a pair of runs in the second, escaped a bases-loaded jam in the third and put two runners on base in the sixth, both of whom scored following the hurler's departure. Ginn had tossed at least six frames in six of his previous eight appearances coming into Saturday, so this was a relatively short outing by his recent standards. The right-hander still holds a strong 3.16 ERA through 82.2 frames on the season, and he'll look to get back into the win column his next time out, which is tentatively slated to be a rematch against the Angels.
