Vele caught all three of his targets for 28 yards in Sunday's 28-14 win over the Panthers. Vele played 34 percent of Denver's offensive snaps Sunday, his lowest snap percentage of the season. In four games, the rookie wideout is averaging four catches for roughly 41 yards per contest while playing under 50 percent of snaps in all but one game. Vele has flashed his play-making potential since training camp, but he's yet to make much of an impact during the 2024 campaign. With fellow rookie Bo Nix starting to take a step forward as a passer, its possible Vele could become more of a factor down the stretch. With that said, he'll continue to contend for targets with fellow wide receivers Courtland Sutton, Lil'Jordan Humphrey, Troy Franklin and Marvin Mims. The Broncos now head to Baltimore to square off against the Ravens in Week 9.

Vele secured one of three targets for 20 yards in the Broncos' 33-10 win over the Saints on Thursday night. The rookie made an impact with his one catch, although his final line was underwhelming in comparison to his performance against the Chargers just four days prior. Vele had posted a 4-78 line on six targets in that contest, but in fairness, Bo Nix was required to do less in the passing game Thursday night than he did versus Los Angeles. Vele's production will likely remain difficult to trust week to week, but he'll draw a good matchup against the Panthers in a Week 8 home clash on Sunday, Oct. 27.

Vele has appeared in two games this season, and he has scored at least 11.8 PPR points in each outing. In those games, he has at least six targets, and it appears like Bo Nix likes Vele. The problem was his first game was Week 1, and he finally got back on the field in Week 6 with Josh Reynolds (finger) on IR. In deeper leagues, you can add Vele for 1 percent of your remaining FAB. Troy Franklin (3 percent) is also worth a look in deeper leagues for 1 percent of your FAB, and he had two catches for 31 yards and a touchdown on three targets in Week 6 against the Chargers.

Vele caught four of six targets for 78 yards in Sunday's 23-16 loss to the Chargers. Vele had been held out of the lineup since his pro debut back in Week 1 (8-39-0) despite maintaining good health for the majority of the time between his two appearances this season. Despite coaching decisions not in his favor, the rookie seventh-rounder wound up tying No. 1 wideout Courtland Sutton for the team lead in targets and receptions Sunday. Vele's inconsistent playing time limits him from becoming a hot waiver add this week, but deep-league managers might still want to take a look at the rookie if he is active for Thursday's tilt against New Orleans in Week 7.

Vele (coach's decision) is inactive Sunday against the Raiders. Vele hasn't suited up since Week 1 when he caught all eight targets for 39 yards and played 49 percent of the team's snaps on offense in NFL debut. His next opportunity to get back on the field will be in Week 6 against the Chargers.
