  • Ian Book QB | PHI

    Saints' Ian Book: Remains inactive

Book (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's contest against the Eagles, Mike Triplett of ESPN.com reports.

After Jameis Winston tore his ACL, Book was bumped up to the No. 3 quarterback on the depth chart behind Trevor Siemian and Taysom Hill. However, he continues to garner healthy scratches and is likely operating as simply an emergency option in case something happens to the aforementioned quarterbacks. Book boasts an intriguing skillset, but he will likely need more tutelage from Sean Payton before he is ready to lead an NFL offense.

  • Tyler Huntley QB | BAL

Ravens' Tyler Huntley: Game plan won't change in start

The Ravens don't have any plans to dramatically alter their game plan for Sunday's contest against the Bears with Huntley starting in place of Lamar Jackson (illness), Jay Glazer said on the "Fox NFL Sunday" program.

Not only did Huntley take most of the reps in practice this week, but the Ravens believe that Huntley has a similar -- albeit lesser -- skill set to Jackson, so their formations and plays won't change much. Over three extended appearances in the preseason, Huntley completed 72.3 percent of his throws for 6.6 yards per attempt and a 4:1 TD:INT while carrying 20 times for 80 yards and two scores.

  • Zach Wilson QB | NO

Jets' Zach Wilson: Not playing Sunday

Wilson (knee) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Dolphins, Randy Lange of the Jets' official site reports.

Head coach Robert Saleh announced Friday that Wilson wouldn't be active for the Jets' Week 11 matchup, but the team elected to list the rookie signal-caller as doubtful Friday rather than ruling him out for the contest. As expected, Wilson won't be available Sunday, but he could have a good chance at reclaiming starting duties and putting an end to a four-game absence in the Jets' next game Nov. 28 in Houston, assuming he upgrades to full participation in practice during the upcoming week. Joe Flacco will get the starting nod against Miami, while Mike White moves into the No. 2 role after starting the prior three contests.

  • Tyler Huntley QB | BAL

Ravens' Tyler Huntley: Filling in for ill Lamar Jackson

Huntley is slated to start Sunday's game against the Bears with Lamar Jackson (illness) inactive for the contest.

A second-year player out of Utah, Huntley will be making his first career start after playing only 44 offensive snaps in total between his first one-plus seasons in the NFL. Huntley will be backed up by Trace McSorley, whom he beat out for the No. 2 job in training camp. Huntley is a speculative fantasy lineup option, but he's in consideration for those scrambling for a Week 11 plug-in signal-caller or in season-long leagues with a superflex spot. Huntley possesses some rushing ability, but not nearly to the extent of Jackson.

  • Jared Goff QB | DET

Lions' Jared Goff: Not playing Sunday, as expected

Goff (oblique) is listed as inactive Sunday at Cleveland.

It's no surprise Goff eventually required some time on the sideline after incurring 26 sacks (tied for fifth most with Baker Mayfield) through his first nine starts with the Lions. Goff didn't practice at all before being considered doubtful for Week 11 action and ultimately missing his first game of the season. According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, there's a chance Goff logs another DNP on Thursday against the Bears due to the short week, but his practice reps still will be something to watch to make sure that comes to pass. Tim Boyle will be under center for the Lions on Sunday and potentially beyond, with David Blough serving in a backup capacity.

  • Lamar Jackson QB | BAL

    Ravens' Lamar Jackson: Inactive Sunday

Jackson (illness) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Bears.

With Jackson unavailable Sunday due to a non-COVID related illness, Tyler Huntley is slated to draw the start at QB for the Ravens, while Trace McSorley is set to serve as his backup. Jackson will thus target a return to action in Week 12, when the Ravens face the Browns on Nov. 28.

  • Lamar Jackson QB | BAL

Ravens' Lamar Jackson: Still viewed as game-time call

Jackson (illness) remains listed as questionable for Sunday's contest against the Bears and is being viewed as a game-time decision leading up to the 1 p.m. ET kickoff, Stacey Dales of NFL Network reports.

Adam Schefter of ESPN released a report late Saturday citing a source familiar with Jackson's situation that the quarterback was "50/50" for the Week 11 contest, and the 24-year-old's outlook doesn't seem to have changed much overnight. On a fortunate note, multiple reports are continuing to describe Jackson's illness as a non-COVID-19-related ailment, with Dales specifically noting that the signal-caller has "a sickness he can't shake." After missing practices Wednesday and Thursday, Jackson returned to practice Friday as a full participant, but the Ravens may want to see how he checks out during a pregame warmup early Sunday before deciding whether he'll play. More clarity on Jackson's status should come when Baltimore releases its inactive list 90 minutes prior to kickoff, but if he's unable to go Sunday, Tyler Huntley would likely pick up his first career start.

  • Jared Goff QB | DET

Lions' Jared Goff: Sitting Sunday, could miss Week 12

Goff (oblique), who is listed as doubtful for Sunday's game against the Browns, isn't expected to be active in a backup capacity this week and could face an uphill battle to gain clearance for the Lions' Thanksgiving Day matchup with the Bears next week, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Though the Lions have named Tim Boyle (thumb) their Week 11 starter following his return from injured reserve Friday, Detroit had some hope that Goff would be available as his understudy even while he manages the oblique injury. After sitting out a trio of practices this week, however, Goff apparently didn't demonstrate enough progress to dress against the Browns, so David Blough is set to back up Boyle while Goff will be included among the Lions' inactive list, which will be released 90 minutes prior to kickoff. Due to the quick turnaround for the Lions' Week 12 matchup, Goff looks to be at major risk of missing a second straight game, but the Lions will see what he's able to do over the next few days before deciding whether he's able to play Thanksgiving Day.

  • Aaron Rodgers QB | PIT

Packers' Aaron Rodgers: Will start, despite painful injury

Rodgers remains on track to start Sunday's game against the Vikings, but he'll do so while playing through a painful toe injury that he'll likely contend with for the remainder of the season, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Rodgers appeared to pick up the injury in last week's 17-0 win over the Seahawks after he had sat out the Packers' previous contest Week 9 against the Chiefs while he was on the reserve/COVID-19 list. The Packers withheld Rodgers from practices Wednesday and Thursday to give him a chance to heal up from the injury, and while he returned to the field Friday as a limited participant, he took only about 15 reps, per Tom Pelissero of NFL Network. Green Bay is hopeful that its upcoming Week 13 bye will allow Rodgers to regain some health, but in the meantime, the team isn't expected to dramatically alter its game plans for the next two contests while the star signal-caller is at less than 100 percent. As is the case with most aging quarterbacks, Rodgers had already scaled back his involvement as a runner before the toe injury surfaced. He's averaging a career-low 2.8 yards per carry and has logged only 20 carries through nine outings.

  • Tim Boyle QB | TEN

Lions' Tim Boyle: Set for first career start

Boyle is on track to start Sunday's game against the Browns, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Schefter's report confirms something that's become increasingly apparent throughout the week, as top quarterback Jared Goff didn't wind up practicing Wednesday through Friday after hurting his oblique last week against the Steelers and is listed as doubtful for Sunday's contest. Boyle was reinstated from injured reserve just one day ago after being sidelined all season following August thumb surgery, but he took all the first-team reps in practice this week and should be healthy heading into his first career NFL start. Before signing with the Lions this offseason, Boyle joined the Packers as an undrafted free agent in 2018 and attempted just four passes over his first three NFL seasons. Expectations should be low for Boyle this week, and expect the Lions to lean heavily on the D'Andre Swift-led ground attack for as long as the contest is competitive.
