  • Jaguars' Trevor Lawrence: Tops 300 passing yards

Lawrence completed 25 of his 41 passes for 319 yards, one touchdown and no interceptions in Sunday's 23-20 win over the Dolphins. He added two rushes for 11 yards.

Lawrence saw increased pass volume, topping 34 attempts for the first time since Week 1. The result was the second 300-yard performance of his career, which was highlighted by seven completions of at least 20 yards. The only downside to the performance was lack of touchdowns, and Lawrence has no more than one passing score in each of his last five games. Even so, he's started to look more comfortable with the professional game and has averaged 8.1 yards per attempt across his last three contests.

  • Reid Sinnett QB | CIN

Dolphins' Reid Sinnett: Dropped to No. 3 role

Sinnett (coach's decision) is a healthy inactive for Sunday's game against the Jaguars in London, Daniel Oyefusi of the Miami Herald reports.

After backing up Jacoby Brissett in each of the Dolphins' last three games, Sinnett will head back to the No. 3 role at quarterback with Tua Tagovailoa (ribs) starting Sunday in his first game back from injured reserve. Sinnett could be a candidate to be dropped from the 53-man roster later in the season if injuries should decimate the Dolphins' depth at other positions.

  • Dolphins' Jacoby Brissett: Active for Sunday's game

Brissett (hamstring) is listed as active for Sunday's game against the Jaguars.

Though Brissett is available Sunday, he's slated to return to a backup role with Tua Tagovailoa (ribs) active versus Jacksonville and slated to reclaim his starting QB role. Meanwhile, fellow signal-caller Reid Sinnett is inactive for the contest.

  • Tua Tagovailoa QB | ATL

Dolphins' Tua Tagovailoa: Active, starting Week 6

Tagovailoa (ribs) is listed as active for Sunday's game against the Jaguars in London and is expected to serve as the Dolphins' starting quarterback.

Tagovailoa, who was activated off injured reserve Saturday, returns to the lineup after missing the Dolphins' past three games due to a rib injury that he suffered in Week 2. With Will Fuller (finger) still on IR, DeVante Parker (shoulder/hamstring) and Preston Williams (groin) also out, in his return to action Tagovailoa will be working with a shorthanded wideout corps headed by Jaylen Waddle, with Albert Wilson, Mack Hollins, Isaiah Ford and Kirk Merritt also in the mix. On the plus side, the No. 5 overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft will be facing an 0-5 Jacksonville squad that is allowing an average of 30.4 points and 286.6 passing yards per game to date.

  • Tua Tagovailoa QB | ATL

Dolphins' Tua Tagovailoa: Ready to go

Tagovailoa (ribs) is expected to play Sunday against the Jaguars, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Schefter's reporting lines up with reports from earlier in the day, which indicated that Tagovailoa was set to start. He's been trending that way throughout the week after being cleared to practice Tuesday. He'll be appearing for the first time since Week 2 after recovering from fractured ribs.

  • Jeff Driskel QB | WAS

Texans' Jeff Driskel: Signed to active roster

The Texans signed Driskel to their active roster Saturday, Aaron Wilson of Sportstalk 790 Houston reports.

Driskel was elevated from the practice squad for each of the last three games but hasn't yet made his season debut. He'll continue to serve as the backup to Davis Mills while Tyrod Taylor (hamstring) is on injured reserve.

  • Jake Luton QB | LV

Seahawks' Jake Luton: Slots in as backup

Luton was elevated to the active roster Saturday.

With Russell Wilson (finger) sidelined indefinitely, Geno Smith will take over as the starter with Luton slated to act as his backup. A sixth-round pick in 2020, the 25-year-old started three games for the Jaguars last season, posting a woeful 624 yards (5.7 YPA), two touchdowns and six interceptions across 110 attempts.

  • Marcus Mariota QB | WAS

Raiders' Marcus Mariota: Comes off IR

Mariota (quadriceps) was activated off injured reserve Saturday, Doug Kyed of Pro Football Focus reports.

Mariota returned to practice this week, prompting his return. The Raiders had hinted the mobile quarterback would be used in a number of sub packages designed specifically for him earlier this year, but the resignation of coach Jon Gruden could complicate that notion. Expect Mariota to assume the backup job behind Derek Carr.

  • Tua Tagovailoa QB | ATL

Dolphins' Tua Tagovailoa: Activated off injured reserve

Tagovailoa (ribs) was activated off injured reserve Saturday and will start Sunday against the Jaguars, John Shipley of SI.com reports.

This confirms the optimism both Tagovailoa and coach Brian Flores expressed throughout the week. The 23-year-old is thus set to make his return after the three-week minimum stay on injured reserve. While the team did list him as questionable on the injury report post activation with a ribs injury, he's still expected to start, according to Doug Kyed of Pro Football Focus. He'll aim to turn around what has been a stagnant offense under backup Jacoby Brissett, though the second-year signal caller won't have two of his top two options in the form of Will Fuller (finger) and DeVante Parker (shoulder).

  • Russell Wilson QB | NYG

Seahawks' Russell Wilson: Officially on IR

Wilson (finger) was placed on injured reserve Friday, ruling him out through Week 9, Brady Henderson of ESPN.com reports.

Wilson will first be eligible to return Nov. 14 against the Packers, at which point he'll be a little more than five weeks removed from surgery. Some reports suggested he could be out for as little as four weeks, while others put the timeline around 6-to-8 weeks. Either way, the Seahawks plan to start Geno Smith at quarterback for at least three games. Jake Luton, the team's No. 3 QB, presumably will be called up from the practice squad before Sunday.
