  • Russell Wilson QB | NYG

Seahawks' Russell Wilson: Headed for IR soon

Coach Pete Carroll said Friday that Wilson (finger) will be placed on injured reserve soon, Gregg Bell of The Tacoma News Tribune reports.

Once it becomes official, Wilson won't be eligible to play again until Nov. 14 against the Packers (Week 10). Even that appears optimistic, with most reports suggesting he'll miss at least four weeks and possibly up to eight. While Wilson recovers from Oct. 8 surgery, Geno Smith will serve as Seattle's starting quarterback.

  • Kyler Murray QB | MIN

Cardinals' Kyler Murray: Set to play Sunday

Murray (right shoulder) practiced in full Friday and doesn't have a designation for Sunday's contest at Cleveland, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.

During the Cardinals' Week 5 win against the 49ers, Murray was spotted grabbing at his right shoulder and even was looked at by team trainers, but he logged all 61 offensive snaps and completed at least 70 percent of his passes for a fourth consecutive game. Still, his practice reps were limited both Wednesday and Thursday before he handled all of them to wrap up Week 6 prep. Earlier Friday, coach Kliff Kingsbury told Josh Weinfuss of ESPN.com when asked if Murray's shoulder was OK, "Yeah, I think so. I think he'll be ready to go." Now that he's clear of the issue, Murray will be out there Sunday versus the Browns' 11th-ranked pass defense (223.2 yards per game allowed).

  • Lamar Jackson QB | BAL

Ravens' Lamar Jackson: Cleared to play Sunday

Jackson (illness) doesn't carry an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Chargers after practicing fully Friday.

Jackson's Week 6 status came into focus after he missed Thursday's practice, but his full participation Friday paves the way for the QB to start against the 4-1 Chargers on Sunday. Though wideout Sammy Watkins (hamstring) won't be available this weekend, it's expected that promising first-rounder Rashod Bateman (groin) will be activated off IR in advance of the contest. For his part, Jackson will look to build off a big fantasy effort in Baltimore's Week 5 overtime win over the Colts, in which he completed 37 of 43 passes for 442 yards and four TDs, rushed 14 times for 62 yards and tossed a pair of successful two-point conversions.

  • Daniel Jones QB | IND

Giants' Daniel Jones: Cleared by neurologist

Jones (concussion) has been cleared by a neurologist and doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Rams, Dan Duggan of The Athletic reports.

Jones will avoid a missed game, and he'll have Sterling Shepard back from a hamstring injury. On the other hand, Kenny Golladay (knee) and Saquon Barkley (ankle) have been ruled out, and four other potential starters are listed as questionable (WR Darius Slayton, WR Kadarius Toney, LT Andrew Thomas, LG Ben Bredeson). Dan Duggan of The Athletic suggests Toney is on track to play, whereas the other three appear truly questionable. Jones has a lot working against him this week, including the matchup against Aaron Donald and Co., though he has been playing much better in 2021 than he did in past seasons.

  • Joe Burrow QB | CIN

Bengals' Joe Burrow: Will be available Sunday

Burrow (throat) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's contest in Detroit, Ben Baby of ESPN.com reports.

Following the Bengals' Week 5 loss to the Packers, Burrow paid a visit to the hospital as a precaution due to a throat contusion. While he practiced in full all week, he had limitations on one front, as coach Zac Taylor told Baby on Wednesday that Burrow would operate under 'voice rest.' Still, Burrow will be available and under center Sunday versus a Lions defense that has allowed a league-worst 9.96 yards per attempt to opposing quarterbacks this season.

  • Deshaun Watson QB | CLE

Texans' Deshaun Watson: Ruled out for Week 6

Watson (not injury-related) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Colts.

With Tyrod Taylor (hamstring) still on IR, Davis Mills once again will serve as the Texans' starting QB versus Indianapolis, while Jeff Driskel is slated to be elevated from the team's practice squad to handle Week 6 backup duties.

  • Dolphins' Jacoby Brissett: Questionable for London game

Brissett (hamstring) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Jaguars, Joe Schad of the Palm Beach Post reports.

Regardless of Brissett's health, Tua Tagovailoa (ribs) is expected to come off IR and start under center for the Dolphins in London. If Tagovailoa suffers a setback and Brissett also can't go, Reid Sinnett would be thrust into the starting quarterback role.

  • Lamar Jackson QB | BAL

Ravens' Lamar Jackson: Returning to practice Friday

Jackson (illness) is practicing Friday, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports.

Jackson was absent from Thursday's practice due to an unspecified illness, but it appears to have been a minor ailment because he's back on the field for Friday's session. It's unclear if the 24-year-old will be able to fully avoid an injury designation, but he appears on track to play Sunday against the Chargers.

  • Daniel Jones QB | IND

Giants' Daniel Jones: On track to play Sunday

Coach Joe Judge said Jones (concussion) is scheduled to be a full practice participant Friday and is expected to play Sunday against the Rams, Ralph Vacchiano of SportsNet New York reports.

Jones has yet to fully clear the concussion protocol, but it appears he's in its final stages and will practice Friday. The 24-year-old still could receive the questionable tag if he's unable to receive full clearance by the end of the day, but he may not end up missing any additional time after suffering the concussion last weekend in Dallas.
