  • Dolphins' Jacoby Brissett: Remains limited in practice

Brissett (hamstring) was a limited participant in Thursday's practice, Hal Habib of The Palm Beach Post reports.

Brissett turned in limited practices Wednesday and Thursday while managing the sore hamstring, seemingly putting him in a good spot to be available Sunday against the Jaguars in London even if he happens to be less than 100 percent. Whether Brissett draws a fourth straight start remains to be seen, however, as the Dolphins designated Tua Tagovailoa (ribs) to return from injured reserve Tuesday and could activate him in advance of the Week 6 contest. The Dolphins would likely make a decision on Tagovailoa's status by Friday or Saturday, but if the second-year signal-caller is available, Brissett would likely move back into the No. 2 role.

  • Lamar Jackson QB | BAL

Ravens' Lamar Jackson: Not spotted at practice Thursday

Jackson (undisclosed) wasn't present during the media-access portion of Thursday's practice, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports.

Jackson wasn't listed on Wednesday's injury report, so it will be interesting to see how he's officially listed by the Ravens following Thursday's practice. Until there's added clarity with regard to his absence, Jackson's status is worth monitoring as Sunday's game against the Chargers approaches.

  • Daniel Jones QB | IND

Giants' Daniel Jones: Progressing well through protocol

Giants head coach Joe Judge said Jones (concussion) will be a non-contact participant in Thursday's practice, Jordan Raanan of ESPN.com reports. "At this point everything looks positive," Judge said, when asked about Jones' chances of playing Sunday against the Rams.

After sustaining the concussion in the Giants' Week 5 loss to the Cowboys, Jones was a non-participant in Wednesday's practice, but the fact that he was donning full pads and a helmet while throwing off to the side in the session was a positive sign that he was progressing through the five-step protocol. Jones' ability to take part in non-contact drills seemingly represents another step forward, though it's unclear if the quarterback's activity will translate to a "limited" listing on the Giants' official injury report. Mike Glennon will stay prepared to start Sunday against the Rams in the event Jones can't clear the protocol in time, but for the time being, the Giants appear optimistic that their top signal-caller will be available. If Jones suits up this weekend, Judge told Tom Rock of Newsday that the game plan wouldn't be altered to limit the quarterback's exposure to contact, so Jones should still have plenty of involvement as a runner.

  • Marcus Mariota QB | WAS

Raiders' Marcus Mariota: Back at practice Wednesday

The Raiders designated Mariota (quadriceps) to return to from injured reserve Wednesday, Paul Gutierrez of ESPN.com reports.

As expected, Mariota will return to practice this week, opening a 21-day window for him to be activated from injured reserve. It's unclear if the 27-year-old will be available for Sunday's game at Denver, but once he's deemed ready to go, he should supplant Nathan Peterman as Derek Carr's top backup.

  • Deshaun Watson QB | CLE

Texans' Deshaun Watson: Not practicing Wednesday

Watson (not injury-related) didn't practice Wednesday.

Heading into Week 6, Watson is once again expected to be a non-participant in practice and a healthy inactive for Sunday's game against the Colts. With Tyrod Taylor (hamstring) still on injured reserve, Davis Mills is line for another start at quarterback for the Texans.

  • Bears' Justin Fields: Puts in full practice Wednesday

    Fields (rib/knee) practiced fully Wednesday.

As expected, Fields was able to handle every rep at the first session of Week 6 prep. Not only did he appear on the injury report with a knee issue next to his name, but a rib injury also made an appearance. It's no surprise he's dealing with multiple injuries after the number of hits he took during Sunday's win over Las Vegas, the most notable of which is a hyperextended left knee. Still, none of the health concerns hampered his activity level, setting Fields up for another start under center this weekend against the Packers. Elsewhere on the team's practice report, Allen Robinson was a non-participant due to an ankle issue, so there is some question about whether Fields will have his top target available Week 6.

  • Joe Burrow QB | CIN

Bengals' Joe Burrow: Logs full practice listing

Burrow (throat) was listed as a full practice participant Wednesday, Marisa Contipelli of the Bengals' official site reports.

Per Ben Baby of ESPN.com, Burrow, who was evaluated Sunday for a throat contusion, is on what head coach Zac Taylor describes as "voice rest." That being said, wideout Tee Higgins indicated that Burrow's communication during Wednesday's walk-through was normal. Burrow's status for Sunday's game against Detroit thus appears secure, barring any setbacks. The 0-5 Lions are allowing an average of 251.6 passing yards per game date, while Burrow heads into Week 6 ranked 18th in the league with 1,269 passing yards to go along with an 11:6 TD:INT.

  • Kyler Murray QB | MIN

Cardinals' Kyler Murray: Limited by shoulder issue

Murray was limited at Wednesday's practice by a right shoulder injury, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.

Murray didn't miss any of the Cardinals' 61 offensive snaps during this past Sunday's 17-10 win against the 49ers, but he was seen grabbing at his upper right arm at one point during the game. Clearly, his throwing shoulder is bothering him at the moment, but he at least was able to get in some reps to begin Week 6 prep. Murray will have two more opportunities to bump up to full participation before Sunday's visit to the Browns.

  • Tua Tagovailoa QB | ATL

Dolphins' Tua Tagovailoa: Expected to face Jaguars

Tagovailoa (ribs) is expected to suit up for Sunday's game against the Jaguars in London, barring any setbacks in practice over the next few days Marcel Louis-Jacques of ESPN.com reports.

Tagovailoa returned to practice Wednesday, and though he still has yet to be fully activated from injured reserve, the Dolphins are preparing to bring him back after he missed three games due to fractured ribs. Still, the Dolphins will continue to monitor Tagovailoa -- and his ability to tolerate pain while practicing -- before making a final decision. If he suits up in London, Tagovailoa could be without a couple of his key targets. Will Fuller (finger) will need to remain on IR for at least two more contests, while DeVante Parker (shoulder) has yet to resume practicing after sitting out Week 5.

  • Dolphins' Jacoby Brissett: Limited in practice

Brissett (hamstring) was limited in Wednesday's practice, Marcel Louis-Jacques of ESPN.com reports.

Brissett was able to check back into Sunday's loss to the Buccaneers after injuring his hamstring earlier in the contest, but he still seems to be dealing with lingering soreness. Tua Tagovailoa (ribs) resumed practicing Tuesday and is eligible to come off injured reserve this weekend against the Jaguars in London, but the Dolphins haven't yet brought him back to the active roster. For the time being, Miami's quarterback situation is uncertain, but Brissett would revet to the No. 2 role if Tagovailoa is cleared to play Week 6.
