  • Jaguars' Gardner Minshew: Questionable for Sunday

Minshew (thumb) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Browns, John Oehser of the Jaguars' official site reports.

Coach Doug Marrone said earlier this week the 24-year-old won't be ready to handle starting duties this weekend, but he could be available to serve in the backup role to Mike Glennon. Minshew returned to practice as a limited participant this week and was ramping up his throwing, so if all goes well he could return to start at Minnesota next week. Jake Luton is primed to serve as Jacksonville's No. 2 quarterback Sunday should Minshew be unavailable.

  • Kyler Murray QB | MIN

Cardinals' Kyler Murray: Should play Sunday

Cardinals GM Steve Keim expects Murray (shoulder) to play in Sunday's game against the Patriots, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.

Murray downplayed the impact of an AC joint injury in his throwing shoulder after last Thursday's loss to the Seahawks, but he's been limited in practice so far this week. It sounds like he's on track to play, even if his arm strength won't quite be at the usual level.

  • Sam Darnold QB | SEA

Jets' Sam Darnold: Set to start Sunday

Darnold (shoulder) is expected to start Sunday against the Dolphins, Ralph Vacchiano of SportsNet New York reports.

The 23-year-old is set to practice without limitations for the second straight day, putting him on track to return from a two-game absence this weekend. Assuming all goes well during Friday's practice, Darnold should avoid an injury designation for Sunday.

  • Andy Dalton QB | PHI

Cowboys' Andy Dalton: Held in check on Thanksgiving

Dalton completed 25 of 35 passes for 215 yards and a touchdown with an interception in Thursday's 41-16 loss to Washington. He also gained 17 rushing yards on three carries.

The veteran QB hit Amari Cooper for a 54-yard touchdown early in the second quarter to give Dallas a 10-7 lead, but it proved to be the team's last lead of the afternoon as Washington's pass rush and ground attack took control. Dalton's INT was actually a pick-six, as Montez Sweat leaped to bring down an attempted screen pass and took it 15 yards for a score, but the game was already well out of hand at that point. The Cowboys remain in the hunt in the feeble NFC East despite the loss, but Dalton will need to step up his game in Week 13 if they're going to pull an upset in Baltimore.

  • P.J. Walker QB | SEA

Panthers' P.J. Walker: Returning to backup role

Walker is slated to move into a reserve role with Teddy Bridgewater (knee) on track to start Sunday's game in Minnesota, David Newton of ESPN.com reports.

Walker received his first NFL start over Will Grier last week against the Lions when Bridgewater was inactive due to an MCL sprain. The fourth-year pro essentially acted as a game manager while Carolina rolled to a 20-0 win, completing 24 of 34 passes for 258 yards, a touchdown and two interceptions. With Bridgewater beginning Week 12 as a full practice participant, he looks like he'll be ready to reclaim starting duties Sunday, but Walker should stick ahead of Grier as the No. 2 quarterback.

  • Lamar Jackson QB | BAL

Ravens' Lamar Jackson: Tests positive for COVID-19

Jackson has reportedly tested positive for COVID-19, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Assuming Jackson's positive test is confirmed by the Ravens, he'll likely miss Sunday's game against the Steelers if the game is played as scheduled. If he misses game action, Robert Griffin could take over under center for Baltimore.

  • Kyler Murray QB | MIN

Cardinals' Kyler Murray: Limited again Thursday

Murray (shoulder) practiced in a limited capacity Thursday, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.

Murray toughed out an AC joint injury in his right throwing shoulder during last Thursday's loss at Seattle, but he still managed 269 yards and two touchdowns through the air. On the ground, though, he recorded season lows with five carries for 15 yards. With back-to-back capped practices to begin Week 12 prep, he doesn't seem to be in danger of missing Sunday's game at New England. Friday's injury report could clarify his status.

  • Lions' Matthew Stafford: Uneven performance in loss

Stafford completed 28 of 42 passes for 295 yards and a touchdown with an interception in Thursday's 41-25 loss to the Texans.

He also gained three rushing yards on one carry and nearly caught a TD pass from Jamal Agnew on a trick play, but Stafford couldn't maintain possession as he hit the ground at the goal line. While there were more good moments for the Detroit offense than in last week's shutout, and the QB's sore thumb didn't seem to be an issue, there were plenty of bad plays too. Stafford tossed a pick-six to J.J. Watt, and his offensive line gave up four sacks and plenty of additional pressure. The Lions will face a tough test in Week 13 on the road against a Bears defense that's been among the best in the league in 2020.

  • Deshaun Watson QB | CLE

Texans' Deshaun Watson: Torches Lions on Thanksgiving

Watson completed 17 of 25 passes for 318 yards and four touchdowns in Thursday's 41-25 win over the Lions.

He also added 24 rushing yards on eight carries, and tossed a two-point conversion to Keke Coutee. Watson benefitted from some good field position thanks to turnovers and had plenty of time in the pocket, allowing him to take apart a battered Detroit secondary. Watson has thrown multiple TDs in eight of his last nine starts and gone over 300 passing yards in six of his last eight, but the Texans' schedule gets a lot tougher starting in Week 13 with a home tilt against the Colts.

  • Sam Darnold QB | SEA

Jets' Sam Darnold: Returns to full practice

Darnold (shoulder) practiced fully Thursday, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports.

That's an upgrade from the QB's limited participation Wednesday. With a full session under his belt, Darnold -- who last suited up in Week 8 -- is now on track to return to action Sunday against the Dolphins, barring a setback.
