Redskins' Colt McCoy: Done for season with broken leg

McCoy underwent X-rays after exiting Monday's game against the Eagles and was diagnosed with a fractured right fibula, Lisa Salters reported on the ESPN broadcast.

As a result, McCoy's 2018 campaign is over only two weeks after No. 1 signal-caller Alex Smith (lower leg) suffered a season-ending injury of his own. Those absences leave Mark Sanchez as the only healthy quarterback on the roster, but the team will almost certainly add another option to the roster by Wednesday. The 32-year-old McCoy faces an uncertain future in the NFL in light of his age and the severity of his injury.

Redskins' Colt McCoy: Downgraded to out

McCoy (lower leg) has been downgraded to out for the remainder of Monday's game against the Eagles.

McCoy will finish the game four of four for 50 yards passing. Mark Sanchez will take over under center for the rest of Monday's contest, but if McCoy is out for an extended period, it seems likely that the Redskins will scan free agency in the coming week for either a starting quarterback or a backup to Sanchez. More will be known about the severity of McCoy's lower leg injury in the near future.

Redskins' Colt McCoy: Questionable to return Monday

McCoy is questionable to return to Monday's game against the Eagles with a right lower leg injury.

McCoy slipped awkwardly in the first quarter before taking a sack and came up limping. He worked with the training staff on the sidelines but ultimately headed to the locker room for further evaluation. Mark Sanchez will take over the Redskins offense with both McCoy and Alex Smith (leg) on the shelf.

  • Marcus Mariota QB | WAS

Titans' Marcus Mariota: Listed on Monday injury report

Mariota (hand) is listed as a limited participant on the Monday practice report, Paul Kuharsky of 104.5 The Zone Nashville reports.

The Titans didn't actually practice, but if they had, they estimated Mariota would've been limited by an injury to his throwing hand. He didn't seem to have any trouble in Sunday's 26-22 comeback win over the Jets, completing 20 of 35 passes for 282 yards, two touchdowns and an interception. Mariota did have issues with his throwing elbow and hand earlier this season, so it's worth keeping an eye one as the Titans continue to prepare for Thursday's game against the Jaguars.

  • Derek Carr QB | NO

Raiders' Derek Carr: Comeback effort falls short

Carr completed 29 of 38 passes for 285 yards and three touchdowns during Sunday's 40-33 loss to the Chiefs. He also ran for eight yards on his lone carry.

Carr assembled a valiant second-half comeback attempt as the Raiders surpassed the 30-point mark for just the second time all season, but Oakland ultimately fell one touchdown short as the Chiefs' Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce had a field day. Carr has now collected at least three scores in three of 12 contests while avoiding a single interception in seven straight games after enduring turnover issues throughout the early portion of his 2018 campaign. Awaiting in Week 14 is a Steelers defense that has been relatively stout in terms of passing yards allowed per attempt, but just allowed Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers to throw for 299 and two touchdowns. Luckily for Carr, No. 1 receiver Jordy Nelson looks to be returning to full health after hauling in 10 of 11 targets Sunday, while rookie Marcell Ateman provides another big-bodied presence in the aerial attack alongside tight end Jared Cook.

  • Sam Darnold QB | SEA

Jets' Sam Darnold: May be limited again

Coach Todd Bowles said Darnold (foot) may be limited in practice once again Wednesday, Ethan B. Greenberg of the Jets' official site reports.

Darnold has been out for four weeks, missing the Jets' past three games due to his foot injury. Bowles said Darnold was essentially healed from his foot injury, but the team was being cautious bringing him back and wanted to ease him into practice as well. Darnold being limited in practice again this week after being limited last week could put him in jeopardy of missing a fourth straight game. Josh McCown has started in Darnold's place and would figure to do so again if the rookie passer is held out Week 14. Rich Cimini of ESPN.com and Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News both expect Darnold to ultimately get the starting nod.

Jets' Sam Darnold: Deemed healthy by coach

Coach Todd Bowles admitted after Sunday's 26-22 loss to the Titans that Darnold has essentially healed from his sprained right foot and could be ready to start Week 14 in Buffalo, Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News reports. "He could have played. He just needed more reps," Bowles said of the rookie quarterback. "You just can't bring him back after 14-to-17 days [off]. Even if he's healthy, to not have timing and everything else and put him out there [Sunday] in a game like this. We'll reload this week and see where he is."

Darnold practiced Wednesday through Friday leading up to the contest, but had his activity limited in each session. As a result, Bowles went with Josh McCown as the Jets' starting quarterback for the third straight game, with the offense again sputtering under his direction. Assuming Darnold is able to increase his activity in practices this week and further support Bowles' assertion that he's healthy, expect the signal-caller to end his three-game absence Sunday against the Bills. Darnold has completed just 55 percent of his passes for 6.7 yards per attempt, 11 touchdowns and 14 interceptions through nine outings, rendering him an unappealing fantasy option in a matchup with a tough Buffalo pass defense.

  • Marcus Mariota QB | WAS

Titans' Marcus Mariota: Surpasses 300 total yards

Mariota completed 20 of 35 passes for 282 yards, two touchdowns and an interception in Sunday's 26-22 win over the Jets. He also rushed four times for 43 yards.

Mariota got off to a slow start -- highlighted by a pick-six -- failing to lead a scoring drive on the Titans' first five offensive possessions. However, he rebounded to lead a 68-yard touchdown drive to close the first half, capped off by a 12-yard pass to find the end zone. Mariota also led the game-winning march, ultimately finding Corey Davis for a score with only 36 seconds remaining in the game. He's now managed multiple passing touchdowns in four of his last five games, and his effectiveness running the ball gives him an appealing floor.

  • Kirk Cousins QB | LV

Vikings' Kirk Cousins: Throws two interceptions

Cousins completed 32 of 44 pass attempts for 201 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions during Sunday's 24-10 loss to the Patriots.

Although Cousins completed an impressive 73 percent of his passes and connected with eight different receivers, he finished averaging a miserable 4.6 yards per attempt. He threw a 5-yard touchdown pass to Adam Thielen in the second quarter and tried to get his team back in the game late, only to throw an interception on each of his last two drives. Cousins' poor effort is even more disappointing considering he posted 342 passing yards and three touchdowns last week against the Packers. He'll look to bounce back next Monday night against the Seahawks.

  • Lamar Jackson QB | BAL

Ravens' Lamar Jackson: Not assured of starting job Week 14

Coach John Harbaugh said he hasn't made a decision on the quarterback position going forward, even though Jackson has done enough to keep the starting job, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports.

There was reportedly no decision to make ahead of Sunday's 26-16 win over the Falcons, as Joe Flacco (hip) still doesn't have medical clearance to play. However, the 33-year-old quarterback did manage limited practice participation Thursday and Friday, perhaps giving him a chance to gain clearance for Week 14 in Kansas City. The Ravens have won three consecutive games on the strength of a powerful rushing attack led by Jackson, but the rookie has also been responsible for four turnovers and a number of missed opportunities in the passing game. Harbaugh has hinted at the possibility of a QB timeshare, which presumably would deploy Flacco in obvious passing situations. A difficult road game against the Chiefs in Week 14 would seem to favor the clock-draining approach with Jackson at quarterback, though it's also a matchup that could eventually force the Ravens to abandon their running game.
