  • Kirk Cousins QB | LV

Vikings' Kirk Cousins: Totals 301 passing yards in win

Cousins completed 30 of 37 pass attempts for 301 yards and a touchdown during Sunday's game against the Eagles. He also carried five times for one yard and lost a fumble in the 23-21 win.

Cousins completed an impressive 81.1 percent of his passes and spread the ball around to eight different receivers. He threw a three-yard touchdown pass to Adam Thielen in the second quarter and later committed a fumble in his own territory, though the defense bailed him out by forcing a punt. Cousins has gone two straight games without throwing an interception and now has an 11:2 TD:INT through five games. He'll look to continue his strong start to the season next Sunday against the Cardinals.

  • Aaron Rodgers QB | PIT

Packers' Aaron Rodgers: Knee soreness getting worse

Rodgers said after Sunday's loss to the Lions that his knee is "a little more sore today than the last couple of weeks," Zachary Jacobson of KLGR 1490 AM reports.

Rodgers was already dealing with a sore knee coming into Sunday's game, and the situation was made worse after the quarterback was awkwardly dragged down on a first-quarter scramble. Rodgers was seen adjusting his knee brace on multiple occasions thereafter trying to get comfortable. Green Bay conveniently has an extra day of rest this coming week since the team's Week 6 matchup with the 49ers isn't until Monday, Oct. 15, but don't be surprised if Rodgers isn't allowed to practice in a full capacity leading up to the game.

  • Russell Wilson QB | NYG

Seahawks' Russell Wilson: Tosses three touchdowns

Wilson completed 13 of 21 passes for 198 yards and three touchdowns in Sunday's 33-31 loss to the Rams.

With Seattle's ground attack having another productive game, Wilson didn't need to air it out much, recording a season low in pass attempts. He did throw a number of beautiful deep balls, including a 44-yard pass and 39-yard touchdown to Tyler Lockett. After failing to throw a touchdown in Week 4 at Arizona, Wilson obviously rebounded nicely, although Doug Baldwin (knee) has not gotten on track yet, catching his lone target for one yard. In Week 6, Wilson will play the Raiders on the road.

  • Jared Goff QB | DET

Rams' Jared Goff: Throws just one score

Goff completed 23 of 32 passes for 321 yards with one touchdown and a pair of interceptions in Sunday's 33-31 win at Seattle. He added five carries for 15 yards.

A week after putting up career numbers, Goff made some nice throws in a tough environment, although Todd Gurley did most of the scoring with three rushing touchdowns. The Rams rolled the dice late in the game, going for it on 4th-and-one around midfield, and Goff responded with a couple of yards on a quarterback sneak to ice the game. Both Brandin Cooks and Cooper Kupp left the game with a concussion, so that is something to monitor heading into a Week 6 road game against the struggling Broncos.

  • Derek Carr QB | NO

Raiders' Derek Carr: Kept from end zone until garbage time

Carr completed 24 of 33 passes for 268 yards with a touchdown and an interception in Sunday's 26-10 loss to the Chargers.

Carr's goal-line interception late in the third quarter essentially sealed the game, but he did at least bounce back with a one-yard touchdown pass to Jordy Nelson to pad his stat line in garbage time. It didn't help that the Chargers held a comfortable advantage in time of possession, and Amari Cooper surprisingly drew just a single target. A Week 6 home game against Seattle will be the next challenge for Carr in a disappointing, inconsistent 2018 campaign.

  • Case Keenum QB | CHI

Broncos' Case Keenum: Produces in garbage time

Keenum completed 35 of 51 passes for 377 yards, two touchdowns and an interception during Sunday's 34-16 loss at the Jets.

Sunday's stats are a little misleading. Following an early Jets turnover, Keenum connected with rookie Courtland Sutton for an opening touchdown in the back of the end zone. He was relatively quiet until the end of the game with the Jets up by multiple scores and playing soft coverage. Head coach Vance Joseph has bemoaned how Denver is built to run the ball and play defense in close games. Having Keenum throw the ball 51 times is not Denver's winning formula. The misfortune is likely to continue next Sunday, however, as Joseph takes on his old mentor, Rams defensive coordinator Wade Phillips, who was also with Denver during its Super Bowl run.

  • Sam Darnold QB | SEA

Jets' Sam Darnold: Efficient in win

Darnold completed 10 of 22 passes for 198 yards, three touchdowns and an interception during Sunday's 34-16 win over Denver.

Darnold didn't connect on many passes but didn't need to. Protected by a rushing attack that gashed Denver, Darnold hit Robby Anderson on touchdown bombs of 76 and 35 yards in the second quarter. For weeks, fans have been waiting for Darnold to finally build chemistry in one of the better offensive finds the team had in 2017. Now that this pair seems to be sparking, Darnold should have some breathing room throwing underneath to his other targets. On Sunday, he takes on a Colts defense that has been middle-of-the-road in pass defense this season.

  • Chiefs' Patrick Mahomes: Picked twice, still wins

Mahomes completed 22 of 38 passes for 313 yards and two interceptions during Sunday's 30-14 win over the Jaguars. He added 13 yards and a touchdown on four carries.

We finally got our first glimpse of what it looks like when Mahomes isn't firing on all cylinders in the passing game. The result wasn't much different. The second-year passer slipped out of the pocket in the first quarter and dove for a four-yard score -- his second rushing touchdown in as many games. Everyone outside of Kansas City is waiting for Mahomes to crash back down to earth. He showed some signs of that on Sunday, but, as a big-play threat both with his arm and his legs in Andy Reid's creative offense, he only needs a few opportunities to have himself a day. Bill Belichick's middle-of-the-road Patriots pass defense awaits in a Week 6 Sunday night showdown.

  • Marcus Mariota QB | WAS

Titans' Marcus Mariota: Stumbles in Week 5

Mariota completed 14 of 26 passes for 129 yards and an interception during Sunday's 13-12 loss to the Bills. He added two carries for 10 yards.

After a breakout Week 4 performance, Mariota landed with a thud in Week 5 at Buffalo. He was unable to lead the Titans to any touchdowns and averaged just 4.3 yards per attempt. That mark was propped up by his longest pass of the day, a 23-yard completion across the middle of the field to Corey Davis. The performance will raise questions regarding Mariota's health, though the performance could also be a product of a conservative offensive gameplan. Mariota will look to up his overall numbers versus the Ravens in a Week 6 matchup.

  • Lions' Matthew Stafford: Pair of touchdowns in Week 5 win

Stafford completed 14 of 26 passes for 183 yards with two touchdowns and no interceptions in the Lions' 31-23 win over the Packers on Sunday. He also lost a yard on his sole rush.

It was an unusually muted day through the air for the Lions, who fed two different running backs with double-digit carries for the second time this season. That led to a season-low amount of attempts and passing yardage for Stafford, but he still managed to throw for multiple scores for the fourth consecutive contest. The 10-year veteran now boasts a 10:5 TD:INT through five games and will look to stay hot against the Dolphins in Week 7 following a Week 6 bye.
