  • Jaguars' Trevor Lawrence: Remains limited Thursday

Lawrence (left shoulder) was listed as limited on Thursday's practice report, Demetrius Harvey of The Florida Times-Union reports.

Lawrence also was deemed limited Wednesday, giving him one more chance to upgrade his participation level ahead of Sunday's game against the Texans. Added context regarding the QB's chances of playing this weekend will arrive no later than Friday, when the Jaguars post their final Week 13 injury report.

  • Caleb Williams QB | CHI

Bears' Caleb Williams: Mixed Thanksgiving results

Williams completed 20 of 39 passes for 256 yards and three touchdowns in a 23-20 loss to Detroit on Thursday while running for 39 yards on four carries.

Williams provided acceptable fantasy production in a setting where things could have gone worse and nearly did. The first half was a fruitless struggle for Williams and the Bears offense, with all the familiar themes of poor pass-rush management and an inability to establish consistent rhythm. Williams kicked into an extra gear in the second half, though, scoring all three of his touchdowns and nearly leading the Bears to a game-tying field goal opportunity. Unfortunately for Williams, what happened from that point will go down among the most memorable NFL lore for in-game blunders. A 1st and 10 from the Detroit 25 with 0:46 left on the clock somehow resulted in the Bears running the clock out on themselves. The offense had one timeout left and 36 seconds on the clock but spent those seconds lining up to call an incomplete pass as time ran out. It's not Williams' fault as much as it is on Matt Eberflus, but it would still have been nice to see more situational awareness from Williams. They might have a different coach by then, but the Bears will hit the road to face the 49ers in Week 14.

  • Drew Lock QB | SEA

Giants' Drew Lock: Starting for DeVito on Thursday

Lock will start Thursday's game at Dallas, per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, with Tommy DeVito (forearm) inactive as the Giants' emergency third QB.

The will he or won't he situation with DeVito now has been clarified as he deals with a sore right forearm. With DeVito sidelined, Lock will earn his 24th career start but first as a member of the Giants. In the other 23 between the Broncos and Seahawks, Lock averaged 203 yards per game on 60.4 percent passing with a 27:20 TD:INT, rushed 75 times for 290 yards and five touchdowns and fumbled 11 times (four lost).

  • Tommy DeVito QB | NE

Giants' Tommy DeVito: Inactive, but emergency third QB

DeVito (forearm) is listed as inactive Thursday at Dallas but will be available as the emergency third quarterback, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.

On Tuesday, the Giants tacked on DeVito to the injury report as limited due to a sore right forearm, which he followed up with an absence from Wednesday's walkthrough and left him questionable for Thursday's game. He didn't travel with his teammates to Dallas and instead stayed behind to undergo an MRI on his forearm, keeping the door ajar for him to start Week 13, per Ian Rapoport of NFL Network. However, both Rapoport and Adam Schefter of ESPN reported earlier Thursday that DeVito wasn't in line to play, and that has been confirmed. Drew Lock will get the spot start in place of DeVito while Tim Boyle serves as the backup.

  • Bo Nix QB | DEN

Broncos' Bo Nix: Limited on practice estimate

Nix (back) was listed as limited on Thursday's practice estimate.

The Broncos held a walkthrough Thursday, with Nix estimated as a limited participant due to a back issue. The QB didn't miss a snap in Denver's 29-19 win over the Raiders in Week 12, an effort that led to Nix being named the NFL's Rookie of the Week for the third consecutive week. Therefore, it's quite possible that his listed limitations Thursday were maintenance-related. Added context on that front may arrive via Friday's injury report.

  • Raiders' Aidan O'Connell: Officially activated off IR

O'Connell (thumb) was activated off injured reserve Thursday ahead of Friday's game against the Chiefs.

O'Connell's activation corresponds with fellow quarterback Gardner Minshew (collarbone) landing on IR. O'Connell was deemed a full participant on the Raiders' injury report Tuesday through Thursday and heads into Friday without a designation, lining him up to start against Kansas City. Prior to hurting his thumb, O'Connell had completed 52 of 82 passes for 455 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions over four games.

  • Raiders' Gardner Minshew: Officially moved to IR

Minshew (collarbone) was placed on injured reserve Thursday.

The move was a foregone conclusion, as Minshew broke his left collarbone last Sunday against Denver and had already been ruled out for the rest of the season. Second-year quarterback Aidan O'Connell was activated from IR in a corresponding transaction and is set to start against Kansas City on Friday. Desmond Ridder will continue serving as Las Vegas' backup QB.

  • Drew Lock QB | SEA

Giants' Drew Lock: In line to start Thursday

Lock is expected to be the Giants' starting quarterback Thursday in Dallas with Tommy DeVito (forearm) unlikely to play, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

The tide has changed multiple times for DeVito this week as he tends to soreness in his right forearm, but this report from Rapoport indicates Lock will get the spot start for the Giants in Week 13. In three appearances this season, Lock has completed four of nine passes for nine yards and recorded a 13-yard carry.

  • Tommy DeVito QB | NE

Giants' Tommy DeVito: Trending in wrong direction Thursday

DeVito (forearm) isn't expected to play Thursday at Dallas, Adam Schefter of ESPN and Ian Rapoport of NFL Network report.

DeVito didn't make an appearance on the Giants' Week 13 injury report until Tuesday due to a sore right forearm, which limited him that day and kept him out entirely Wednesday. He didn't travel with his teammates and stayed behind to have one last MRI to determine if anything was missed, but it also kept the door open for him to start Thursday's game, per Rapoport. Following Thursday's dueling reports from Schefter and Rapoport, DeVito appears to be trending in the wrong direction on that front, but he's also expected to throw pregame, which will be the determining factor for the Giants, according to Rapoport. Conceivably, DeVito could be active but serve as the backup to Drew Lock or even inactive but available as the emergency third QB behind Lock and Tim Boyle.

  • Nick Mullens QB | JAC

Vikings' Nick Mullens: Delivers critical completion in win

Mullens played two of the Vikings' 71 offensive snaps in Sunday's 30-27 overtime win over the Bears, completing his lone pass attempt for a 14-yard gain.

For the first time since Week 5, Mullens was summoned from the bench to replace Sam Darnold, who walked off the field slowly after taking a hit on an incomplete pass on 2nd-and-13 with 6:32 remaining in the fourth quarter. Mullens came in on third down and found an open Aaron Jones in the middle of the field to extend the drive, then handed the ball off to Jones on the next play before Darnold was cleared to return to the game. Darnold was able to finish out the game and doesn't appear on the Vikings' Week 13 injury report, so Mullens looks poised to remain in a backup role moving forward. He may not be the top choice if Darnold were to miss time with an injury later on this season, however, as the Vikings signed Daniel Jones to their practice squad Wednesday and presumably view him as an upgrade over Mullens for the No. 2 role.
