  • Tanner McKee QB | PHI

Eagles' Tanner McKee: Emergency QB again in Week 5

McKee (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's Week 5 game against the Rams but will serve as the emergency quarterback.

McKee will continue to reprise his role as the option of last resort under center for the Eagles versus the Rams. He'll only see the field if both Jalen Hurts and Marcus Mariota are sidelined by injury during the contest.

  • Colts' Anthony Richardson: Won't return Sunday

Richardson (shoulder) has been ruled out for a return to the second half of Sunday's game against the Titans, Nate Atkins of The Indianapolis Star reports.

Gardner Minshew will direct the Indianapolis offense for the rest of the day. Richardson finishes the Week 5 contest with nine completions on 12 attempts for 98 yards and two carries for five yards. In addition to missing the Colts' Week 3 win over the Ravens while recovering from a concussion, the rookie quarterback has now left early due to injury in two of his first four NFL starts. He'll likely have his right shoulder injury evaluated further in the coming days, leaving his status for the Colts' Week 6 game at Jacksonville uncertain at the moment.

  • Josh Allen QB | BUF

Bills' Josh Allen: Big numbers in London

Allen completed 27 of 40 passes for 359 yards and two touchdowns with one interception in Sunday's 25-20 loss to the Jaguars. He added 14 rushing yards and a TD on four carries.

The Bills came out flat to begin the game, having only landed in London a little more than 48 hours before kickoff, but Allen hit Stefon Diggs late in the second quarter to avoid a first-half shutout and then piled up the production late as Buffalo tried in vain to mount a comeback. The quarterback has delivered 13 touchdowns over the last four games -- 10 through the air, three on the ground -- and he figures to post big numbers again in Week 6 against the struggling Giants.

  • Colts' Anthony Richardson: Exits with shoulder injury

Richardson left Sunday's game against the Titans with a right shoulder injury and is questionable to return, Stephen Holder of ESPN.com reports.

Per James Boyd of The Athletic, Richardson couldn't lift his right arm as he headed to the locker room. Prior to his departure from the contest, Richardson had completed nine of 12 passing attempts for 98 yards and carried twice for five yards. In his absence, Gardner Minshew has taken over at quarterback for the Colts.

  • Jaguars' Trevor Lawrence: Tops 300 yards in win

Lawrence completed 25 of 37 passes for 315 yards with one touchdown and no interceptions in Sunday's 25-20 win over Buffalo. He also rushed seven times for 31 yards and fumbled three times, losing two.

Lawrence threw for over 300 yards for the first time this season and went without an interception for the second straight contest, but he still had trouble with ball security Sunday with three fumbles on five sacks. The 24-year-old was still able to lead Jacksonville to its second straight win, though he'll need to improve his ball security going forward with two interceptions and six fumbles (three lost) through five games.

  • Josh Johnson QB | CIN

Ravens' Josh Johnson: Emergency QB for Week 5

Johnson (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's contest against the Steelers.

Johnson will serve as the emergency quarterback for Week 5 with Tyler Huntley set to slot in as the backup QB behind Lamar Jackson. Johnson was let go by the Ravens on Sept. 23 but re-signed with the team two days later after clearing waivers.

  • Tyler Huntley QB | BAL

Ravens' Tyler Huntley: Backup QB for Sunday

Huntley is active for Sunday's contest against the Steelers.

Huntley will serve as the backup quarterback behind Lamar Jackson, while Josh Johnson will act as the emergency quarterback for Week 5.

  • Logan Woodside QB | ARI

Falcons' Logan Woodside: Playing emergency role

Woodside (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Texans but will serve as the Falcons' emergency third quarterback, Tori McElhaney of the Falcons' official site reports.

The quarterback will dress for the game but can only enter if starter Desmond Ridder and backup Taylor Heinicke leave with injuries. It's a role that Woodside has been playing all season for the Falcons. The sixth-year pro has yet to appear in a game in 2023.

  • Bailey Zappe QB | NYJ

Patriots' Bailey Zappe: More practice reps

Zappe will remain in a backup role for Sunday's game against the Saints, but he took more reps in practice this week than usual, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Mac Jones will make another start Sunday, but he's on a shorter leash after a disastrous showing in last week's blowout loss to the Cowboys. The Patriots want to make sure that Zappe is prepared in the event he has to play again after entering last week's game in the third quarter.

  • Kenny Pickett QB | CAR

Steelers' Kenny Pickett: Set to face Ravens

Pickett (knee) is officially active for Sunday's game against the Ravens.

Pickett approached the game without an injury designation after being listed as a full practice participant Thursday and Friday, and it's been confirmed that the QB will play through a bone bruise in his knee that he sustained during Week 4 action. Per Mike Garafolo of NFL Network, Pickett began the practice week working with a knee brace but shed that by Thursday. That said, the QB's mobility could be limited to some degree Sunday, with Garafolo suggesting that the Steelers could look to establish the run versus Baltimore with an eye toward avoiding 3rd-and long situations as much as possible.
