Chase Brown RB | CIN
Bengals' Chase Brown: Disappears in Week 3 loss
Brown rushed 10 times for three yards and brought in four of five targets for 17 yards in the Bengals' 48-10 loss to the Vikings on Sunday. He also fumbled once but recovered.
Brown's final rushing line tells the tale of both limited opportunities due to game script and next to no running room against a talented Vikings front seven. The third-year back's rush attempts and rushing yardage totals were unsurprisingly season-low figures, and Brown could only very modestly make up for the shortfall with his work through the air. The Bengals will look for a reset in a Week 4 road matchup against the Broncos, but that presents as another extremely challenging matchup for Cincinnati's Jake Browning-led offense as a whole.

Ashton Jeanty RB | LV
Raiders' Ashton Jeanty: Modest numbers again in loss
Jeanty carried the ball 17 times for 63 yards in Sunday's 41-24 loss to the Commanders.
The rookie running back failed to see a target for the first time in his brief career, but Jeanty did little with his six targets in his first two games, so it was little surprise to see his role as a pass catcher reduced. The 63 rushing yards did represent his best effort so far on the ground, but it was still far from a breakout performance for the sixth overall pick in the 2025 Draft. Jeanty stands a better chance of making an impact in Week 4 against a Bears defense that has been one of the worst units in the NFL to begin the year.

Najee Harris RB | LAC
Chargers' Najee Harris: Hurts ankle Sunday
Harris was carted off the field during Sunday's game against the Broncos, per Daniel Popper of The Athletic, after sustaining an ankle injury.
Prior to that, Harris carried six times for 28 yards. In his absence, Omarion Hampton and Hassan Haskins are available to handle the Chargers' Week 3 backfield duties.

Josh Jacobs RB | GB
Packers' Josh Jacobs: Stonewalled on ground in upset loss
Jacobs rushed 16 times for 30 yards and brought in five of nine targets for 44 yards in the Packers' 13-10 loss to the Browns on Sunday.
Jacobs got a first-hand taste of a run defense that has essentially been the AFC version of his own team's unit in the early part of the season. The talented back only mustered a long gain of seven yards, and the Packers ultimately began swapping out targets for some of his normal allotment of rush attempts, leading to season highs in both receptions and receiving yards. Following the shocking upset, Jacobs and his teammates will look to rebound in an intriguing Week 4 road matchup against the Cowboys next Sunday night.

Jonathan Taylor RB | IND
Colts' Jonathan Taylor: Three scores against Tennessee
Taylor rushed the ball 17 times for 102 yards and three touchdowns in Sunday's 41-20 win over the Titans. He added three receptions on four targets for 16 yards.
Despite his final line, the Titans did a good job of limiting Taylor for much of the game. He punched in a pair of scores from one yard away in the first and fourth quarters. Taylor also broke the contest open and accounted for a significant portion of his yardage with an impressive 46-yard touchdown late in the third quarter, during which he broke through several tackles and evaded additional defenders with a spin move. Taylor now has four total touchdowns on the season and has topped 100 rushing yards in consecutive contests.

Bijan Robinson RB | ATL
Falcons' Bijan Robinson: Solid all-around game in loss
Robinson rushed 13 times for 72 yards while bringing in five of six targets for 39 yards in the Falcons' 30-0 loss to the Panthers on Sunday.
A field day was expected for the Falcons' ground attack going in, but the Panthers defense completely turned that expectation on its head with a surprisingly dominant performance. Robinson still managed to churn out a solid effort that highlighted both his rushing and receiving acumen, but his workload on the ground was certainly more sparse than it would have been had the Falcons made good on their status as solid favorites. Robinson will next take aim at the Commanders defense when Washington pays Atlanta a visit for a Week 4 matchup next Sunday.

TreVeyon Henderson RB | NE
Patriots' TreVeyon Henderson: Logs 11 carries Sunday
Henderson carried the ball 11 times for 28 yards and caught all three of his targets for 19 yards in Sunday's 21-14 loss to the Steelers.
The rookie RB struggled on the ground once again, failing to reached 30 rushing yards for the third straight game to begin his NFL career. His 14 touches were his highest volume so far, however, and the increase came largely due to the fact that his competition for backfield work, Rhamondre Stevenson and Antonio Gibson, combined to lose three fumbles. That could put Henderson at the top of the depth chart Week 4 against a Panthers defense that remains fairly vulnerable on the ground and just gave up 111 yards from scrimmage to Bijan Robinson.

Rhamondre Stevenson RB | NE
Patriots' Rhamondre Stevenson: Can't hang onto ball in loss
Stevenson carried the ball four times for 18 yards and caught all three of his targets for 38 yards in Sunday's 21-14 loss to the Steelers. He also committed two fumbles.
After a very impressive Week 2 performance, Stevenson was largely to blame for New England's Week 3 loss, losing the ball on the first possession to set up Pittsburgh's first TD of the day, and then fumbling again on the Steelers' one-yard line in the third quarter. The Patriots' running game struggled as a whole Sunday, with QB Drake Maye leading the team in rushing yards and Antonio Gibson also losing a fumble. Stevenson's struggles holding onto the ball could open the door for rookie TreVeyon Henderson to see a much bigger role in Week 4 against the Panthers.

Saquon Barkley RB | PHI
Eagles' Saquon Barkley: Held in check by Rams
Barkley rushed the ball 18 times for 46 yards in Sunday's 33-26 win over the Rams. He added four receptions for nine yards.
The Eagles were chasing the Rams for nearly the entire game, though volume wasn't Barkley's primary problem. Instead, he was held to only 2.6 yards per rush with a long gain of just 12 yards. Barkley did manage to salvage his day in leagues that reward receptions, as he hauled in four targets for the second time this season. Barkley has yet to hit 100 yards from scrimmage and also has zero 20-yard gains on the ground through three contests.

Kenneth Gainwell RB | PIT
Steelers' Kenneth Gainwell: Punches in short TD in win
Gainwell carried the ball four times for 16 yards and a touchdown and caught his only target for 10 yards in Sunday's 21-14 win over the Patriots.
The former Eagle scored his first TD as a Steeler in the first quarter, punching in a one-yard score for the game's first points. Gainwell has worked as a short-yardage complement to Jaylen Warren through three weeks, a role that has led him to 85 scrimmage yards on 23 touches, and he'll likely need to find the end zone again to have much fantasy value in Week 4 against the Vikings.
