David Njoku TE | CLE
Browns' David Njoku: Likely trade candidate
Njoku (knee) is among several members of the Browns that could be moved before the Nov. 4 trade deadline, Zac Jackson of The Athletic reports.
At 1-5 and seemingly in a transition season, Cleveland could be an active seller leading up the deadline. In the aftermath of Sunday's 23-9 loss to the Steelers, Njoku is tending to a knee injury that kept him out of Wednesday's practice, but the issue is not viewed as a long-term concern. The tight end is in the final year of his contract, which makes him attractive to potential suitors. Harold Fannin, a rookie third-round draft pick, has been on the field nearly as much as Njoku this season and would take on a greater role at tight end if the latter is traded.

Colby Parkinson TE | LAR
Rams' Colby Parkinson: Practices in full to start week
Parkinson (concussion) logged a full practice session Wednesday, Sarah Barshop of ESPN.com reports.
Parkinson was sidelined for Sunday's game against the Ravens while recovering from a concussion. He reportedly cleared the league's protocol prior to the contest, though his ongoing presence on the injury report suggests otherwise.

Grant Calcaterra TE | PHI
Eagles' Grant Calcaterra: Absent for first practice of Week 7
Calcaterra (oblique) didn't practice Wednesday.
Calcaterra suffered an oblique injury in the first quarter of a Week 5 loss to Denver and hasn't practiced since. Philadelphia last played on Thursday Night Football against the Giants, but even with the extra time between games, Calcaterra is very much at risk of sitting out this Sunday's matchup in Minnesota. If he doesn't play, Kylen Granson likely would work as the Eagles' No. 2 tight end behind Dallas Goedert.

Blake Whiteheart TE | CLE
Browns' Blake Whiteheart: Nursing shoulder injury
Whiteheart was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice due to a shoulder injury, Mary Kay Cabot of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.
Whiteheart played a season-high 22 snaps on offense during the Browns' 23-9 loss to the Steelers in Week 6, but he appears to have picked up a shoulder injury in the process. He has two more chances this week to log a full practice and avoid an injury designation heading into Sunday's home tilt against the Dolphins. If cleared to play Sunday, Whiteheart would be slated to serve as the Browns' TE2 behind rookie third-rounder Harold Fannin if David Njoku is sidelined due to a knee injury.
-
Tanner Hudson TE | CIN
Bengals' Tanner Hudson: Won't play vs. Pittsburgh
Hudson (concussion) has been ruled out for Thursday's game against the Steelers.
Hudson entered the league's concussion protocol following the Bengals' loss to the Packers on Sunday. The veteran tight end was unable to practice this past week and has not been cleared to play in Thursday's AFC North tilt. With Hudson out and Mike Gesicki (pectoral) on injured reserve, the Bengals are left with Noah Fant, Drew Sample and Cam Grandy as their three tight ends on the active roster.
-
Jaheim Bell TE | PHI
Jaheim Bell: Signed to Eagles' practice squad
The Eagles signed Bell to the practice squad Wednesday.
The 2024 fourth-rounder was waived by the Patriots in late August after failing to make the team's 53-man roster, but he'll get another opportunity with the Eagles as a member of the practice squad. Bell could be elevated to the Eagles' active roster for Sunday's game against the Vikings if Grant Calcaterra (oblique) is unable to play. Bell mostly served on special teams across 15 regular-season games with the Patriots in 2024, though he did log two catches (on three targets) for 20 yards.

Pharaoh Brown TE | ARI
Pharaoh Brown: Gets opportunity with Arizona
The Cardinals signed Brown to the practice squad Wednesday.
The 31-year-old tight end failed to make the Dolphins' 53-man roster at the end of training camp, but he'll get another opportunity to see regular-season action as a member of the Cardinals' practice squad. Arizona placed Travis Vokolek on injured reserve Wednesday due to a season-ending neck injury, and with Tip Reiman (ankle) also on IR, Brown would be a candidate to be elevated to the Cardinals' active roster should the team require depth at tight end. Trey McBride, Elijah Higgins and Walter Nolen are the three tight ends currently on the Cardinals' active roster.
-
Josiah Deguara TE | ARI
Cardinals' Josiah Deguara: Signed to Cardinals' active roster
The Cardinals signed Deguara from the practice squad to the active roster Wednesday.
Deguara's addition to the active roster gives the Cardinals depth at tight end after Travis Vokolek (neck) was placed on injured reserve in a corresponding move. With Vokolek and Tip Reiman (ankle) both on IR, Deguara is slated to serve as Arizona's third-string tight end behind Trey McBride and Elijah Higgins. Deguara played in the Cardinals' Week 2 win against the Panthers, when he logged one tackle while playing 14 snaps on special teams.

Brock Bowers TE | LV
Raiders' Brock Bowers: Not practicing
Bowers (knee) isn't practicing Wednesday, Ryan McFadden of ESPN.com reports.
Bowers is standing on the sideline in shorts, which comes as no surprise after reports this past weekend suggested he's unlikely to return for Week 7 at Kansas City. He initially suffered a PCL injury and bone bruise in Week 1, and it now seems the goal may be a return after the Raiders' Week 8 bye. TE Michael Mayer filled in admirably during Sunday's 20-10 win over Tennessee, catching five passes for 50 yards and a touchdown on a team-high seven targets (while playing 91 percent of snaps on offense).

Travis Vokolek TE | ARI
Cardinals' Travis Vokolek: Done for the year
The Cardinals placed Vokolek on injured reserve Wednesday due to a season-ending neck injury, Darren Urban of the team's official site reports.
Vokolek was carted off the field during Arizona's loss to the Colts in Week 6 due to a neck injury and concussion suffered during kickoff coverage. He was evaluated at a local hospital before being released the same day, but head coach Jonathan Gannon confirmed that the third-year tight end won't be a candidate to return to action this season. Vokolek suited up for a career-high five regular-season games with Arizona in 2025, though he wasn't targeted on offense.
