  • Kazmeir Allen RB | WAS

Kazmeir Allen: Let go by Washington

Allen was waived by the Commanders on Tuesday, Zach Selby of the team's official site reports.

Allen was unable to make the team despite the recent trade of Jahan Dotson, a relatively open receiver room behind Terry McLaurin and a Deebo Samuel comparison from Washington's offensive coordinator, Kliff Kingsbury, almost a week ago. The wide receiver had four carries for 15 yards and one catch for 12 yards during the preseason.

  • Xavier Johnson WR | CIN

    Xavier Johnson: Waived by Buffalo

Johnson was waived by the Bills on Tuesday, Alec White of the team's official website reports.

Johnson signed with Buffalo as an undrafted free agent in May, compiling 27 receiving yards on three catches during the preseason. If the wide receiver clears waivers, there's a good chance he ends up with the Bills' practice squad ahead of Week 1.

  • Dax Milne WR | CAR

Dax Milne: Let go by Las Vegas

Milne was waived by the Raiders on Tuesday, per the team's official site.

Milne was selected in the seventh round of the NFL Draft by Washington in 2021 and got into 18 regular-season games across his first two professional campaigns, totaling 15 catches on 21 targets for 120 yards and one touchdown while also working as a kick and punt returner. The BYU product spent all of last season on IR due to a groin injury and was waived by the Commanders this July before latching on with Las Vegas. He's now healthy and will look to get another chance on an NFL roster, though he may need to spend time on a practice squad first.

  • Je'Quan Burton WR | MIA

    Je'Quan Burton: Waived by Miami

Burton was waived by the Dolphins on Tuesday.

Cain was cut by the Bills on Tuesday, Alec White of the team's official website reports.

  • Drake Stoops WR | LAR

    Drake Stoops: Doesn't make team

Stoops was waived by the Rams on Tuesday.

The wide receiver went undrafted in April despite a solid senior season at Oklahoma in which he caught 84 passes for 962 yards and 10 touchdowns. Jordan Whittington and Tyler Johnson beat out Stoops for the last two wide receiver spots on the Rams' depth chart.

  • Montrell Washington: Parts ways with Chiefs

Kansas City waived Washington on Tuesday.

The 2022 fifth-round pick appeared in six games with the Chiefs during the 2023 season, but Washington won't be on their 53-man roster to start the new campaign. He's in line to become a free agent if he's not claimed by another team during the current waiver period.

  • Lideatrick Griffin: Doesn't get roster spot

Las Vegas waived Griffin on Tuesday, per the team's official site.

Griffin latched on with the Raiders as an undrafted free agent in April and got into two games during the exhibition slate, though all six of his snaps came on special teams. He showed some chops in the return game by tallying 90 yards on three kickoff returns, but Griffin was always considered a long shot to make the 53-man roster.

  • Dylan Drummond WR | ATL

    Dylan Drummond: Cut by Atlanta

Drummond was waived by the Falcons on Tuesday, Terrin Waack of the team's official website reports.

Drummond signed with the Falcons in May, reeling in six catches for 22 yards during the preseason. If the wide receiver clears waivers, his most likely next landing spot is right back with Atlanta as a member of the team's practice squad.
