  • Malik Turner WR | SF

49ers' Malik Turner: Elevated to active roster

The 49ers elevated Turner from the practice squad to the active roster Saturday.

Turner has spent the entire 2025 season on San Francisco's practice squad, but he has the chance to be active due to Jordan Watkins (calf) being sidelined. Turner would likely contribute primarily on special teams if active.

  • Saints' Kevin Austin: Signed to active roster

The Saints signed Austin to the active roster Saturday.

Austin couldn't crack the Saints' final roster, but he has been on the practice squad since. He'll now get a chance to stick on the active roster, and he could be active Sunday against the Seahawks if either Devaughn Vele (hip) or Trey Palmer (hamstring) is unable to suit up.

  • Alex Bachman WR | LV

Raiders' Alex Bachman: Elevated from practice squad

The Raiders elevated Bachman form the practice squad Saturday for Sunday's matchup versus the Commanders.

Bachman is set to be elevated for the third straight week and should continue to serve as a depth receiver in addition to contributing on special teams. The Raiders will now be able to elevate Bachman only one more time this season.

  • Seahawks' Jaxon Smith-Njigba: Now questionable due to illness

Smith-Njigba is questionable for Sunday's game versus the Saints due to an illness.

Smith-Njigba wasn't listed on any of the Seahawks' Week 3 injury reports, but after coming down with an illness, his status now will need to be monitored ahead of Sunday's 4:05 p.m. ET kickoff. Through two games this season, he's been one of the few bright spots in Seattle's offense, hauling in 17 of 22 targets for 227 yards and no touchdowns.

  • Jayden Reed WR | GB

Packers' Jayden Reed: Move to IR official

The Packers placed Reed (collarbone/foot) on injured reserve Saturday.

Reed was already playing through a Jones fracture in his foot when he sustained a broken collarbone early during a Week 2 win against the Commanders. He's since undergone surgeries for both health concerns and is facing a 6-to-8 week recovery timetable, meaning a move to IR was inevitable for Reed. For at least the next two games, the Packers' receiving corps will be composed of Matthew Golden, Romeo Doubs, Dontayvion Wicks, Savion Williams and Malik Heath, while Christian Watson (knee) will be eligible for activation from the reserve/PUP list as soon as Week 6 following a Week 5 bye.

  • Emeka Egbuka WR | TB

Buccaneers' Emeka Egbuka: Expected to be available Sunday

Egbuka (hip/groin) remains listed as questionable but is expected to play Sunday against the Jets, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com reports.

Egbuka took a questionable tag into the weekend after practicing just once (as a limited participant) this week, but the rookie wideout is trending toward being available versus New York. In any case, confirmation of Egbuka's Week 3 status will arrive when Tampa Bay releases its inactive list 90 minutes prior to Sunday's 1 p.m. ET kickoff.

  • DeAndre Carter WR | CLE

Browns' DeAndre Carter: Cleared for Sunday

Carter has cleared concussion protocol and no longer carries an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Packers.

Carter had been listed as questionable after being limited in practice Thursday and Friday. Now that he's gained clearance to play Sunday, the 32-year-old will be available in Week 3 as a depth wideout and key returner for the Browns.

  • Chiefs' Xavier Worthy: Won't play Sunday

Worthy (shoulder) has been ruled out for Sunday night's game against the Giants.

Worthy will not travel with the team for the contest, so his return to action is on hold for now. In his continued absence, Hollywood Brown, Tyquan Thornton and JuJu Smith-Schuster are once again slated to see added WR snaps for the Chiefs, while Jalen Royals (knee, questionable) could join the mix as well in Week 3.

  • Chiefs' Xavier Worthy: Not expected to play Sunday

Worthy (shoulder) isn't expected to play Sunday night against the Giants, Dianna Russini of The Athletic reports.

Though Worthy was able to practice in a limited fashion this week, it appears as though the Chiefs are inclined to err on the side of caution with the wideout. Assuming he is ruled inactive Sunday, Hollywood Brown, Tyquan Thornton and JuJu Smith-Schuster would continue to see added WR snaps in Week 3, with Jalen Royals (knee, questionable) possibly joining the mix as well.

  • 49ers' Jordan Watkins: Could be headed for lengthy absence

Watkins (calf) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's game against the Jaguars, Matt Barrows of The Athleticreports.

Watkins was added to the injury report Thursday and was quickly ruled out for Sunday's game. Coach Kyle Shanahan stated the injury is a long-term issue, and Watkins is a candidate to be placed on injured reserve, Nick Wagoner of ESPN.com reports.
