Carnell Tate WR | TEN
Titans' Carnell Tate: Off injury report
Tate (undisclosed) is off the injury report ahead of the Titans' season opener against the Jets, Turron Davenport of ESPN.com reports.
This is a great development for Tate after he dealt with an undisclosed issue late in preseason. Tate is now on track to make his NFL debut in Week 1, when he will be a focal point of the Titans' passing game.

Kyle Monangai RB | CHI
Bears' Kyle Monangai: Cleared to play Sunday
Monangai (knee) is not listed on the Bears' Week 1 injury report Wednesday.
After missing a bunch of training camp and the entire preseason with a hyperextended knee, Monangai is ready to roll for the games that count. He should fill a similar role as last season behind D'Andre Swift, who out-carried Monangai 32 to 21 in the Bears' two playoff games. Monangai is one of the premier fantasy bench stashes at running back, and he could have some standalone value during bye weeks.

Rome Odunze WR | CHI
Bears' Rome Odunze: Listed as limited participant
Odunze (calf) was limited in Wednesday's practice.
After sitting out Monday and being labeled day-to-day by coach Ben Johnson on Tuesday, Odunze was limited in the first official practice of the week. His status for Sunday's season opener against Carolina still appears unsettled. If Odunze is unable to go, Luther Burden and Colston Loveland should dominate most of the targets from Caleb Williams, while Kalif Raymond and Zavion Thomas would likely see more action on offense.

Kenyon Sadiq TE | NYJ
Jets' Kenyon Sadiq: Listed as full-go Wednesday
Sadiq (hernia) was a full participant in Wednesday's practice, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports.
The first-round rookie has bounced back from his offseason hernia surgery and is now gearing up for his NFL debut this Sunday. Sadiq was back to participating in positional drills earlier in the week. At this stage, Sadiq is very much on track to be ready for the start of the season.

D'Andre Swift RB | CHI
Bears' D'Andre Swift: Cleared for Week 1
Swift (abdomen) is not listed on the Bears' Week 1 injury report Wednesday.
Swift dealt with cramps last week but is good to go for Sunday's season opener against the Panthers. With Kyle Monangai (knee) also removed from the injury report, Swift should operate as the clear RB1 versus Carolina, while Monangai is slated for a handful of carries behind him. Swift looks like a borderline RB1 fantasy option in Chicago's loaded offense.
-
Zachariah Branch WR | ATL
Falcons' Zachariah Branch: Limited with hamstring injury
Branch (hamstring) was limited in Wednesday's practice, Daniel Flick of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
It's a new injury for the rookie wideout, but a limited start to the week gives Branch a chance to suit up Sunday against the Steelers. He's competing with the likes of Olamide Zaccheaus and Jahan Dotson for offensive snaps behind Drake London.
-
Breece Hall RB | NYJ
Jets' Breece Hall: Full participant Wednesday
Hall (groin) was a full participant on Wednesday's practice report, Rich Cimini of ESPN reports.
The star running back was a full-go to begin the practice week as Sunday's season opener looms. Hall suffered a groin injury late in camp but has been making good progress to the point that it's been expected that he will be ready for Week 1. Look for Hall to lead the Jets' backfield to begin the campaign.
-
Sam LaPorta TE | DET
Lions' Sam LaPorta: Not listed on injury report
LaPorta (hip) is not listed on the Lions' Week 1 injury report Wednesday, Tim Twentyman of the Lions' official site reports.
LaPorta missed the Lions' final eight games last season with a back injury and then dealt with a hip issue this summer. He returned to practice in late August and is ready to go for Sunday's season opener against the Saints. LaPorta is expected to compete with Jameson Williams for targets behind alpha WR1 Amon-Ra St. Brown this season, and the tight end will likely be a big a presence in the red zone.

Michael Mayer TE | LV
Raiders' Michael Mayer: Likely to start at TE for Raiders in Week 1
Mayer appears lined up to take on a pronounced role as the Raiders' top tight end in Sunday's season opener against the Dolphins after Brock Bowers underwent a meniscus trim Tuesday and is expected to be out for "a game or two," Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Bowers missed five games in 2025 due to a PCL injury and bone bruise in his left knee, and Mayer suited up in four of those contests and logged 90-plus-percent snap shares in all of them. In those four games, Mayer put together an 18-196-1 receiving line on 24 targets, a level of production that could make him an appealing lineup option in both DFS and season-long leagues in Week 1.

Brock Bowers TE | LV
Raiders' Brock Bowers: Undergoes meniscus trim, out 1-to-2 games
Bowers underwent a meniscus trim procedure Tuesday and is expected to miss "a game or two," Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
This is huge news just before the season gets underway, as one of the top tight ends in the league is now expected to miss regular-season time. Per Schefter, Bowers suffered a minor knee injury in camp that was diagnosed last week. He underwent a meniscus trim rather than a repair, which will speed up his time to return to the field. Michael Mayer projects to see a usage boost for however long Bowers is sidelined.
