Brown (knee) has been ruled out for the Patriots' Week 1 matchup against the Seahawks on Wednesday, Curtis Crabtree of Fox 13 Seattle reprots.

Brown was part of the team's roster cuts on Aug. 31 but eventually re-signed with the Patriots a day later. Once healthy, he will serve as the New England's backup center behind Jared Wilson.

Thompson (undisclosed) was a participant in Monday's practice, Alex Insdorf of BoltBeat.com reports.

Thompson has returned to practice after missing the last two weeks with an undisclosed issue. It remains to be seen how the rest of Thompson's practice week will unfold, but there is a chance the fourth-round rookie could suit up for Sunday's opener against the Cardinals.

Miller (undisclosed) was moved to the practice-squad injured list by the Lions on Monday, Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press reports.

The offensive tackle will not be able to practice with the team for the next four weeks. After that, he can return if he's healthy enough to do so. Miller spent the 2025 campaign on Detroit's practice squad.

Barmore (knee) was a full participant in New England's practice Monday, Curtis Crabtree of Fox 13 Seattle reports.

Barmore missed Sunday's practice due to a knee injury but has seemingly moved past it. The 2021 second-round pick is once again expected to serve as one of the Patriots' starting defensive linemen once the regular season begins.

Bachie was promoted from the practice squad to the active roster Monday, Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press reports.

The linebacker spent training camp and the preseason with the Lions, got released on cutdown day and then signed to the practice squad. His promotion should be an indication that he'll at least play a special-teams role in Week 1 against the Saints. Bachie has played on more than 200 special-teams snaps in each of the last three NFL seasons.

Cowboys head coach Brian Schottenheimer said Monday that Smith is scheduled to undergo surgery on his injured thumb and will miss 4-to-6 weeks, Joe Hoyt of The Dallas Morning News reports.

The Cowboys are likely to place Smith on injured reserve within the coming days. While Smith is out for at least a handful of games, the Cowboys will turn to T.J. Bass as their starting left guard.

Gwyn will serve as the starting center for the Ravens' Week 1 contest with the Colts.

Harrison (hamstring) participated in practice Monday, C. Isaiah Smalls II of the Miami Herald reports.

Harrison is healthy again after sitting out the team's preseason finale due to a hamstring injury. The 29-year-old is expected to serve as a depth linebacker once the regular season gets underway.

Booker (groin) took part in practice Monday, Kevin Fishbain of The Athletic reports.

The defensive end suffered a groin injury during an Aug. 20 joint practice with the Bengals, didn't practice for the rest of training camp and then was considered "week-to-week," per Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune. Booker's return to practice Monday is a step in the right direction ahead of Chicago's season opener against Carolina on Sunday.

The Eagles activated Greenard (pectoral) off the active/PUP list Aug. 30, Chris McPherson of the team's official site reports.

Greenard is listed on the Eagles' active roster but remains questionable with a pectoral injury he suffered while lifting weights preparing for training camp in July. The shift to the active roster instead of the reserve/PUP list implies the team thinks the linebacker will be ready for game action sooner rather than later, though it remains unclear if Greenard will be able to suit up for the Week 1 contest with the Commanders on Sunday.
