  • Josh Metellus SAF | MIN

Vikings' Josh Metellus: Working through shoulder injury

Metellus (shoulder) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice.

Metellus played every single defensive snap during the Vikings' Week 14 win over the Commanders, but he appears to have picked up a shoulder injury in the process. His ability to practice Wednesday indicates that the injury isn't considered serious, and he'll have two more chances to increase his practice participation ahead of Sunday's road tilt against the Cowboys.

  • Giants' Joshua Ezeudu: Full go in practice Wednesday

Ezeudu (calf) was a full participant in the Giants' practice Wednesday, Matt Citak of the team's official site reports.

Ezeudu has been sidelined all season due to a calf injury but appears closer to making his return. The team will still have to activate the 26-year-old off injured reserve before he's eligible to play. Once healthy, Ezeudu should provide additional depth at offensive tackle.

  • Ty Chandler RB | NO

Vikings' Ty Chandler: Logs full practice Wednesday

Chandler (knee) was a full participant in Wednesday's practice.

Chandler continues to progress in his recovery from a knee injury that he sustained in the Vikings' regular-season opener against the Bears. He would have to be activated from injured reserve in order to play Sunday against the Cowboys, and if he is cleared to play, he would serve as the Vikings' RB3 behind Aaron Jones (shoulder) and Jordan Mason.

  • Giants' Greg Van Roten: Sits out Wednesday's practice

Van Roten (shoulder ) didn't participate in the Giants' practice Wednesday, Matt Citak of the team's official site reports.

Van Roten popped up on the injury report Wednesday and is now in danger of missing his first game of the season. If the 35-year-old ends up being unable to play in Sunday's matchup versus the Commanders, Aaron Stinnie would likely start at right guard in his place.

  • Will Dissly TE | LAC

Chargers' Will Dissly: Working through shoulder issue

Dissly (shoulder) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice, Eric Smith of the Chargers' official site reports.

Dissly likely picked up the injury during Monday's 22-19 overtime win over the Eagles, when he played 40 snaps (27 on offense, 13 on special teams) and caught a one-yard pass on his only target from Justin Herbert (left hand). Dissly will have two more chances to increase his practice participation ahead of Sunday's AFC West tilt against the Chiefs.

  • Trey Pipkins OT | LAC

Chargers' Trey Pipkins: Sits out Wednesday's practice

Pipkins (ankle) didn't participate in the Chargers' practice Wednesday, Daniel Popper of The Athletic reports.

Pipkins is still battling the ankle injury he sustained during the Week 14 win over the Eagles. If the 29-year-old ends up being forced to miss Sunday's matchup versus the Cowboys, Trevor Penning should serve as the team's primary backup tackle.

  • Bears' Ruben Hyppolite: Past shoulder injury

Hyppolite (shoulder) was a full participant in Wednesday's practice, Dan Wiederer of the Chicago Tribune reports.

Hyppolite missed Chicago's last two games due to a shoulder injury, but his ability to practice Wednesday without restriction indicates that he'll be available to play against Cleveland on Sunday. Hyppolite's return would mean less defensive snaps available for D'Marco Jackson and Amen Ogbongbemiga.

  • Kyler Gordon CB | CHI

Bears' Kyler Gordon: Misses Wednesday's practice

Gordon (groin) did not participate in Wednesday's walkthrough, Dan Wiederer of the Chicago Tribune reports.

Gordon has missed six of the Bears' last seven games due to a groin injury. He'll likely be sidelined for Sunday's game against the Browns unless he's cleared to practice in at least a limited capacity over the next two days. Jaylon Johnson will continue to see additional snaps at outside linebacker for as long as Gordon is sidelined.

  • Jalen Sundell OT | SEA

Seahawks' Jalen Sundell: Designated to return

The Seahawks designated Sundell (knee) to return from injured reserve Wednesday, Brady Henderson of ESPN reports.

Sundell has been on injured reserve since November but is now closer to making his return. The 26-year-old will still have to be officially activated off injured reserve before he's eligible to play and should resume his role as the team's starting center once healthy.

  • Bears' Tyrique Stevenson: Limited to open week

Stevenson (hip) was estimated to be limited participant in Wednesday's walkthrough, Dan Wiederer of the Chicago Tribune reports.

A hip injury has sidelined Stevenson for the Bears' last two games, but his estimated ability to participate if there had been a practice indicates that he is progressing in his recovery. A full practice Thursday or Friday would put Stevenson in a good position to be available for Sunday's game against the Browns.
