  • Puka Nacua WR | LAR

Rams' Puka Nacua: Status uncertain heading into Week 3

Rams head coach Sean McVay acknowledged Tuesday that he's uncertain if Nacua (groin) will be available for Sunday's game against the Broncos, Gary Klein of the Los Angeles Times reports. "I'm not sure what his status is as far as this next coming week," McVay said of Nacua. "I'm hopeful that he'll play.... If he's ready to go, great. If not, then we'll continue to roll."

Nacua was inactive for Monday's 28-6 win over the Giants due to groin soreness, an issue that kept him from practicing Friday and Saturday. Though McVay is hopeful that the star wideout's absence will be contained to one game, Nacua's status for Week 3 will be murky until he's able to get back on the practice field. While Nacua was sidelined for the Week 2 win, Davante Adams stepped in as quarterback Matthew Stafford's top target and finished with a magnificent 8-195-2 receiving line.

  • Noah Gray TE | KC

Chiefs' Noah Gray: Plays half the offensive snaps

Grey played 40 offensive snaps and 10 special-teams snaps in Sunday's 33-30 overtime win against the Colts.

Gray started alongside Travis Kelce, playing 50 percent of the Chiefs' offensive snaps in the overtime contest. Gray assisted in blocking for Super Bowl MVP Kenneth Walker and was also a meaningful part of the special-teams unit, although he failed to corral his only target.

  • Malachi Fields WR | NYG

Giants' Malachi Fields: Another two grabs in loss

Fields brought in two of six targets for 30 yards in the Giants' 28-6 loss to the Rams on Monday night.

Fields finished third in receptions and second in targets for the Giants on a night when Jaxson Dart (knee) exited after just one series. One of Fields' catches came during that opening drive, as he secured a 14-yard grab on third down to move the chains. The rookie third-round pick has enjoyed a solid complementary role over his first two NFL games, posting a 4-55-0 line on 10 targets. Fields is slotting in ahead of veteran Darnell Mooney on the depth chart heading into a Week 3 home matchup against the Titans on Sunday.

  • Chiefs' Tyquan Thornton: Catches all four targets in win

Thornton caught all four of his targets for 86 yards in Sunday's 33-30 overtime win against the Colts.

Thornton and quarterback Patrick Mahomes had struggled to get on the same page at times last season. However, the duo's chemistry was in fine form Sunday, as Thornton made up for a quiet Week 1. The wide receiver played 47 of the Chiefs' 80 offensive snaps in Sunday's overtime win and could continue carving out a larger role in coming weeks.

  • Seth McGowan RB | IND

Colts' Seth McGowan: Zero offensive yards in loss

McGowan rushed twice for zero yards and had two kickoff returns for 58 yards in Sunday's 33-30 overtime loss to the Chiefs.

McGowan saw just four offensive snaps in the contest, touchding the ball on half of them. The seventh-round rookie did not make a strong impression against the Chiefs' defensive line, but he proved useful on special teams with a 29-yard average on kickoff returns.

  • Jordan James RB | SF

49ers' Jordan James: Four carries in fourth quarter

James saw four carries for 15 yards in Sunday's 35-13 win over the Dolphins.

James saw eight offensive snaps and nine special-teams snaps in the contest. All of the running back's carries came in the final seven minutes of the fourth quarter when the game was all but over.

  • Rams' Terrance Ferguson: Gets into end zone in win

Ferguson secured six of nine targets for 54 yards and a touchdown in the Rams' 28-6 win over the Giants on Monday night.

Ferguson finished as the runner-up on the Rams in all of receptions, receiving yards and targets while closing out the scoring with a five-yard TD grab in the fourth quarter, as the second-year tight end saw a significant increase in opportunity in the absence of Puka Nacua (hip). Ferguson drew a sole target over 31 snaps in the Week 1 loss to the 49ers, and despite Monday night's surge in production, it will be difficult to trust any of the members of the Rams' deep tight-end room on a game-to-game basis.

  • Dolphins' Malik Washington: Does it all in loss

Washington caught four of his five targets for 43 yards, rushed once for four yards, returned a punt for seven yards and returned three kickoffs for 69 yards in Sunday's 35-13 loss to the 49ers.

Washington played 43 of the Dolphins' 59 offensive snaps as well as six special-teams snaps. The No. 1 wide receiver and returner's name appeared across the box score, and Washington appears set to continue filling a diverse role on a rebuilding Miami squad.

  • Isaiah Likely TE | NYG

Giants' Isaiah Likely: Solid despite Dart injury

Likely secured five of 10 targets for 33 yards in the Giants' 28-6 loss to the Rams on Monday night.

Likely's first catch came on one of Jaxson Dart's three completions before he exited the game with a knee injury, and the veteran tight end remained an integral component of the air attack once Jameis Winston took over. Likely's reception and target totals were team-high figures, and he's quickly generated a 13-111-2 line on 18 targets over his first two games in a Giants uniform heading into a Week 3 home matchup against the Titans on Sunday.

  • Ryan Flournoy WR | DAL

Cowboys' Ryan Flournoy: Logs five catches in Week 2

Flournoy caught five of six targets for 23 yards Sunday in a 37-20 victory versus Washington.

Flournoy started and saw plenty of playing time, logging 42 of Dallas' 55 offensive snaps. He also got a good amount of looks, with six passes thrown his way. However, Flournoy worked almost exclusively in short yardage, with his longest catch going for a modest 10 yards and his other four receptions accounting for a total of 13 yards. Flournoy is unsurprisingly well behind CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens on the WR depth chart, so his week-to-week production figures to be difficult to bank upon. Dallas next faces the Ravens at home next Sunday.
