  • Carnell Tate WR | TEN

Titans' Carnell Tate: Four catches in NFL debut

Tate caught four of six targets for 38 yards in Sunday's 23-10 loss to the Jets.

Tate tied Wan'Dale Robinson for the team lead in receiving yards and targets, but Tennessee's entire passing game struggled as Cam Ward threw for a mere 140 yards. The Titans overhauled their wide receiver room by drafting Tate fourth overall out of Ohio State and signing Robinson to a four-year, $78 million contract in the offseason, but the results Sunday didn't look much different compared to the team that went 3-14 last season. Tate should continue to function as one of Ward's top targets in Week 2 against a stout Eagles secondary.

  • Browns' Quinshon Judkins: Tallies 50 total yards in loss

Judkins rushed 12 times for 33 yards and brought in both targets for 17 yards in the Browns' 34-10 loss to the Jaguars on Sunday.

Judkins operated as the unquestioned lead back for the Browns as expected, yet his opportunities on the ground were limited overall thanks to a game script that saw Cleveland already down 24-0 at the half. Judkins unsurprisingly found running room difficult to come by when he did carry the ball, but he was efficient with his pair of receptions. Judkins could face loaded defensive fronts most weeks if the Browns' quarterback play doesn't improve, and a Week 2 road matchup against the Buccaneers next Sunday doesn't offer much promise on paper.

  • Saints' Travis Etienne: Busy as receiver in Saints debut

Etienne carried the ball nine times for 46 yards and caught seven of nine targets for 32 yards in Sunday's 31-30 overtime loss to the Lions.

The former Jaguar didn't see a lot of work on the ground, but Etienne set a new career high in receptions in his Saints debut as Tyler Shough attempted 56 passes as part of a big second-half comeback to force OT. Etienne has flashed real pass-catching upside in the past, posting a 58-476-1 line on 73 targets in 2023, so this usage in New Orleans may not have been purely due to the game situation. Etienne will look to make his first trip to the end zone of the year in Week 2 on the road against the Ravens.

  • Jaylen Warren RB | PIT

Steelers' Jaylen Warren: Records 73 total yards, fumble in win

Warren rushed 10 times for 46 yards and brought in five of six targets for 27 yards in the Steelers' 20-13 win over the Falcons on Sunday. He also lost a fumble.

Sunday offered the first look at the division of labor between Warren and new backfield mate Rico Dowdle, and by game's end, the former had outpaced the latter by two carries and one target. Warren was by far the more efficient of the two while averaging 4.6 yards per carry to Dowdle's 1.9, and he also was the more effective receiver. Warren's lost fumble was the one blemish on his day, as it was recovered at the Steelers' 25-yard line and led to the Falcons' sole touchdown. Warren should have a solid chance of remaining the narrow leader of the ground attack in a Week 2 road showdown against the Patriots next Sunday.

  • Tyler Warren TE | IND

Colts' Tyler Warren: Three grabs, TD in Week 1 loss

Warren secured three of five targets for 13 yards and a touchdown in the Colts' 41-23 loss to the Ravens on Sunday.

The athletic second-year tight end was on the receiving end of Daniel Jones' sole touchdown pass, recording his nine-yard scoring grab early in the fourth quarter. Warren's afternoon was otherwise as non-descript as his final line suggests, but he's a vital part of the Colts' air attack and could have a bigger role in a Week 2 road matchup against the Chiefs next Sunday night.

  • Elijah Molden CB | LAC

Chargers' Elijah Molden: Suffers hamstring injury

Molden (hamstring) is questionable to return to Sunday's game against the Cardinals.

Molden exited the third quarter of Sunday's contest with a new hamstring issue. Genesis Smith will likely take over at free safety while Molden is sidelined.

  • Chris Olave WR | NO

Saints' Chris Olave: Huge start to season in Week 1 loss

Olave caught 10 of 13 targets for 182 yards in Sunday's 31-30 overtime loss to the Lions.

As expected, Olave was Tyler Shough's top downfield option, but there was plenty of volume to go around as the second-year QB aired it out 56 times as the Saints mounted a big second-half comeback to force OT. Olave was forced to leave the field at one point due to calf cramping, per Katherine Terrell of ESPN.com, but the issue wasn't serious. The fifth-year wideout will continue to march toward his fourth career 1,000-yard campaign in Week 2 on the road against the Ravens.

  • Emeka Egbuka WR | TB

Buccaneers' Emeka Egbuka: Team-high yardage in loss

Egbuka brought in five of six targets for 63 yards in the Buccaneers' 33-27 loss to the Bengals on Sunday.

The second-year wideout led the way for the Buccaneers in receiving yards while checking in second in both receptions and targets on the afternoon. Egbuka didn't show any ill effects from the toe injury he'd previously been dealing with this summer, and his first game as the new No. 1 receiver in the wake of Mike Evans' offseason departure was encouraging overall, especially considering Baker Mayfield struggled through an uneven, turnover-filled afternoon. Egbuka will have a bright outlook in all fantasy formats for a Week 2 home matchup against a Browns defense that was exposed repeatedly by Jaguars wide receivers in Week 1.

  • Kyle Louis LB | MIA

Dolphins' Kyle Louis: Leaves game with knee injury

Louis (knee) is questionable to return to Sunday's game against the Raiders.

It's unclear when Louis picked up the injury, but he's being evaluated by medical staff to determine whether he can return to Sunday's contest. Michael Taaffe will be the top rotational option at safety behind starters Dante Trader and Zayne Anderson for as long as Louis is sidelined.

  • Josh Whyle TE | GB

Packers' Josh Whyle: Questionable to return with neck injury

Whyle (neck) is questionable to return to Sunday's game against the Vikings.

Whyle exited the second half of Sunday's contest with an all-too-familiar injury. The tight end missed some time in August with a minor neck issue so the current issue could be related. If Whyle is unable to return to the game, Mark Redman will likely take over as the No. 3 Packers tight end.
