Staal was a game-time decision due to the illness, but he won't end up missing any ice time. He has 10 goals and 27 points in 52 appearances in 2024-25. He's projected to skate on the third line with Jordan Martinook and Seth Jarvis.

Cirelli (undisclosed) will play against the Islanders on Saturday, per Benjamin Pierce of the Lightning's official site.
Cirelli won't miss any playing time after skipping Saturday's morning skate. He has accounted for 19 goals, 39 points, 104 shots on net and 46 blocked shots through 49 appearances this season. With Cirelli available to play, Michael Eyssimont will be a healthy scratch in Saturday's matchup.

McTavish's four-game point streak ended in Thursday's 4-1 loss to Calgary, but he logged 17:01 of ice time in the defeat. He has notched six goals and three assists in his last nine outings. If McTavish can't play Sunday, Ross Johnston could be in the lineup versus Montreal.

Vancouver dealt J.T. Miller to the Rangers on Friday, receiving forward Filip Chytil in return. The Canucks have only 11 healthy forwards at this time, and another move will likely happen ahead of Sunday's tilt against Detroit. Raty has two goals and four points in 21 NHL appearances this season.

Beck was called up from AHL Laval on Saturday.
Beck has played in two NHL games this season after making his NHL debut in 2023-24. He hasn't earned a point in three NHL appearances with the Canadiens. Beck has 11 goals and 28 points across 41 AHL outings this season. The Canadiens had only 12 healthy forwards before Beck's recall, and he could enter the lineup against Anaheim on Sunday.
