Golden Knights' Jack Eichel: Scores twice, keeps streak alive

Eichel scored two goals, including one on the power play, in Friday's 4-3 loss to the Stars.

The two-goal performance extended Eichel's current point streak to five games, a span in which he's racked up three goals and four assists -- with four of those points coming on the power play. He's up to 61 points in 48 games this season, putting him on pace to surpass his previous best of 82 points in 77 regular-season appearances for Buffalo in 2018-19.

  • Bo Horvat C | NYI

Islanders' Bo Horvat: Lights lamp Friday

Horvat scored a goal in Friday's 3-1 win over the Flyers.

Horvat notched his 17th goal of 2024-25. He scored as part of a rapid two-goal barrage over a 55-second span that gave the Islanders a 2-1 lead before the end of the first period. This goal extended Horvat's point streak to four games, and the 29-year-old star playmaker has now cracked the scoresheet in six of nine outings in January. He's recorded nine points (seven goals, two assists), 34 shots, 15 hits, eight blocked shots and a plus-1 rating during that stretch.

  • Brock Nelson C | COL

Islanders' Brock Nelson: Another multi-point effort

Nelson recorded a goal and an assist in Friday's 3-1 win over the Flyers.

Nelson participated in the build-up of Anthony Duclair's goal in the first period and later closed out the scoring by lighting the lamp in the second frame. Nelson has recorded four multi-point efforts over his last seven appearances, a stretch in which he's racked up nine points (four goals, five assists), 20 shots, three hits, four blocked shots and a plus-4 rating.

  • Brad Lambert C | WPG

Jets' Brad Lambert: Loaned to AHL Manitoba

Lambert was reassigned to AHL Manitoba on Saturday.

Lambert was a healthy scratch in Friday's 5-2 win over Utah because Nikolaj Ehlers (illness) played. Lambert has three goals and 13 helpers in 29 AHL games this season.

  • Connor Dewar C | PIT

Maple Leafs' Connor Dewar: Placed on injured reserve

Per David Alter of The Hockey News, the Maple Leafs placed Dewar (upper body) on injured reserve Saturday.

Dewar has only three helpers in 29 games this season. The fourth-line center has struggled all year, as he was behind the eight-ball after undergoing offseason shoulder surgery that cost him the first 16 games of the season. The Maple Leafs recalled Nikita Grebenkin from AHL Toronto in a corresponding move.

  • Blue Jackets' Cole Sillinger: Unavailable Saturday

Sillinger (upper body) won't play against Los Angeles on Saturday, Jeff Svoboda of the Blue Jackets' official site reports.

Sillinger will miss his third straight game. The 21-year-old center has seven goals and 16 assists over 45 appearances this season. It remains unclear when he will be available to return to the lineup. The Blue Jackets embark on a four-game road trip after Saturday's contest, starting in Vegas on Thursday.

  • Josh Norris C | BUF

Senators' Josh Norris: Skating in non-contact jersey

Norris (upper body) skated in a non-contact jersey during Saturday's practice, per TSN 1200 Ottawa.

While Norris won't play in Ottawa's next two games, his return to the ice is encouraging after he suffered an injury Tuesday versus the Rangers. The Senators have a few days off after hosting Utah on Sunday before Washinton visits Thursday. Norris has 17 goals, 10 assists, 88 shots on goal and 120 hits over 47 outings this season.

  • Boone Jenner C | CLB

Blue Jackets' Boone Jenner: Practicing Saturday

Jenner (shoulder) skated before practice Saturday, Mark Scheig of The Hockey Writers reports.

Jenner remained on the ice in a regular jersey during practice. It is the first time he has been on the ice with his teammates since suffering his injury at practice just before the start of the regular season. A return date remains unclear, but Jenner's return could occur when the Blue Jackets return to action after the 4 Nations Face-Off. He had 22 goals, 13 assists and 119 hits over 58 regular-season games in 2023-24.

  • Clayton Keller RW | UTA

Hockey Club's Clayton Keller: Extends point streak to six games

Keller notched a pair of assists, including one on the power play, in Friday's 5-2 loss to the Jets.

This was Keller's fourth multi-point effort during his six-game point streak. In that span, he has three goals and nine assists. The 26-year-old winger is up to 17 goals, 36 helpers, 114 shots on net and a minus-2 rating over 47 appearances this season. Keller has been as consistent as anyone in Utah's lineup and continues to be an excellent scorer for his fantasy managers.

  • Hockey Club's Barrett Hayton: Deposits another goal Friday

Hayton scored a goal on two shots in Friday's 5-2 loss to the Jets.

Hayton's ignited his offense with four goals and four assists over his last five contests. The 24-year-old center took some time to adjust to new linemates on the second line, but he looks to be comfortable there now. He's up to 12 goals, 26 points, 77 shots on net, 23 PIM and a plus-9 rating through 48 appearances this season.
