Shane Wright C | SEA
Kraken's Shane Wright: Scores PP goal Monday
Wright scored a power-play goal in Monday's 3-2 loss to the Devils.
Wright found the back of the net in the early stages of the third period, and although his goal evened the score at 2-2, the Devils would end up scoring the game-winning tally 37 seconds later. This was Wright's eighth marker of the campaign, and it was also the first time he found the back of the net since doing so in three straight outings from Dec. 5-8.

J.T. Miller C | NYR
Canucks' J.T. Miller: Four points not enough Monday
Miller scored two goals and added two assists, one on the power play, in Monday's 5-4 overtime loss to the Canadiens.
The four points were a season high for Miller, while the goals were his first in 12 contests since returning to the Canucks in mid-December after a 10-game absence for personal reasons. Through 29 appearances this season, Miller has eight goals and 29 points along with 67 hits, 57 shots on net, 24 PIM, 17 blocked shots and a minus-1 rating.

Dawson Mercer C | NJ
Devils' Dawson Mercer: Records two points Monday
Mercer scored a goal and an assist in Monday's 3-2 win over the Kraken. He also recorded three shots on goal and a plus-2 rating.
Mercer cracked the scoresheet for the first time since finding the back of the net in a 4-2 win over the Hurricanes on Dec. 27. He has five points (three goals, two helpers) across his last seven appearances. He seems on pace to reach the career-high 43 points he notched as a rookie in 2021-22, when he posted 42 points across 82 games.

Paul Cotter C | NJ
Devils' Paul Cotter: Scores in back-to-back games
Cotter scored a goal, took two shots and recorded a hit in Monday's 3-2 win over the Kraken.
Cotter found the back of the net for the second consecutive game, marking the first time he scored in back-to-back contests since the first two games of the campaign. Cotter, who has found the twine thrice over his last five games, has 10 goals and six assists across 43 contests. However, he's not expected to have a prominent role on offense due to his role as a bottom-six forward.

Alexei Protas C | WAS
Capitals' Aliaksei Protas: Two-point effort Monday
Protas scored a goal and added an assist in Monday's 4-3 shootout loss to the Sabres.
The 24-year-old continues to put together a breakout campaign in a top-six role for the Capitals. Protas has five multi-point performances across his last 14 games, collecting nine goals and 13 points over that stretch along with 31 shots on net, six PIM and a plus-12 rating. He came into the season with 13 career goals in the NHL, but Protas has already found the back of the net 18 times in 2024-25 in just 40 contests.

Matt Rempe C | NYR
Rangers' Matt Rempe: Set for call-up
Rempe (suspension) will be recalled from AHL Hartford ahead of Tuesday's matchup with Dallas, Peter Baugh of The Athletic reports.
Rempe's promotion will allow him to serve out the final game of his eight-game suspension Tuesday, a move that was facilitated by Chris Kreider (upper body) being placed on injured reserve. Even once his suspension is over, the 22-year-old Rempe is far from a lock to actually crack the lineup, especially after the Rangers claimed Arthur Kaliyev off waivers Monday.

Jiri Kulich C | BUF
Sabres' Jiri Kulich: Injured in Monday's victory
Kulich sustained a lower-body injury in Monday's 4-3 shootout win over the Capitals, Heather Engel of NHL.com reports.
Kulich recorded one shot, one hit and two PIM in 5:18 of ice time before exiting. Head coach Lindy Ruff said that the 20-year-old will be evaluated Tuesday. If Kulich and Beck Malenstyn (illness) aren't ready for Thursday's road game in Ottawa, the Sabres would need to either call up a forward from AHL Rochester or be forced to roll with 11 forwards and seven defensemen. Kulich has produced seven goals and nine points through 31 appearances this season.

Brendan Gaunce C | CLB
Wild's Brendan Gaunce: Recalled from minors
Gaunce was summoned from AHL Iowa on Monday.
Gaunce hasn't earned a point in five NHL appearances this season while posting four shots on goal and six hits. With Kirill Kaprizov (lower body) and Jakub Lauko (lower body) on injured reserve, Gaunce could be in Tuesday's lineup versus St. Louis even if Mats Zuccarello (illness) and Frederick Gaudreau (illness) are available.

Travis Boyd C | TOR
Wild's Travis Boyd: Recalled by Minnesota
Boyd was recalled from AHL Iowa on Monday.
Boyd has had several brief stints with the NHL club earlier this year, and he was held pointless with three blocked shots and a hit while averaging 7:48 of ice time over three appearances. He'll rejoin the Wild since the team is dealing with multiple absences, but it's unlikely that he'll have a significant role during his time with Minnesota.

Matt Rempe C | NYR
Rangers' Matt Rempe: Assigned to AHL
Rempe (suspension) was assigned to AHL Hartford on Monday.
Rempe was issued an eight-game suspension in late December for boarding and elbowing, and he's been out for the Rangers' last seven matchups. He'll head to the minors after the Rangers claimed Arthur Kaliyev off waivers from the Kings on Monday. Rempe will be immediately eligible to play for Hartford, but he'll still need to miss one more game if he rejoins the NHL club at some point.
