Nate Danielson C | DET
Red Wings' Nate Danielson: Assigned to AHL
Danielson (undisclosed) was activated from the injured non-roster list and assigned to AHL Grand Rapids on Friday.
Danielson started the year injured but appears to be healthy enough to play now. The 21-year-old will likely spend most of 2025-26 with the Griffins, but he could be a call-up candidate if he plays well.

Teddy Blueger C | VAN
Canucks' Teddy Blueger: Placed on injured reserve
Blueger (undisclosed) was placed on injured reserve Friday, retroactive to Oct. 19.
Blueger has missed the last two games due to an undisclosed injury, and his placement on IR signals that he'll at least be unavailable for Saturday's game against the Canadiens. It's not clear when he'll be able to return to action, but Nils Aman will likely continue to draw into the Canucks' lineup in Blueger's absence.

Zemgus Girgensons C | TB
Lightning's Zemgus Girgensons: Available for Saturday
Girgensons (undisclosed) is good to play against Anaheim on Saturday, per Lightning reporter Gabby Shirley on Friday.
Girgensons still needs to be taken off injured reserve, but head coach Jon Cooper has already declared that the 31-year-old forward is ready to return, so his activation should come before the game. Girgensons had two goals, six points, 47 PIM and 174 hits in 82 regular-season appearances with Tampa Bay last year, but he hasn't played yet this season due to the injury. He'll probably serve on the fourth line Saturday, which might lead to Curtis Douglas being a healthy scratch.

Michael Amadio C | OTT
Senators' Michael Amadio: Nets first goal of season
Amadio scored a goal on three shots and blocked two shots in Thursday's 2-1 win over the Flyers.
Amadio got on the scoresheet for the first time this season, scoring at 7:57 of the first period to answer Tyson Foerster's goal in the opening minute. The 29-year-old Amadio has remained in a middle-six role to begin the season, but he's not seeing power-play time. He's posted eight shots on net, 12 hits, six blocked shots and a minus-2 rating through eight contests. He won't be an option for fantasy managers until he can show more consistency on offense.

Juuso Parssinen C | NYR
Rangers' Juuso Parssinen: Deposits goal Thursday
Parssinen scored a goal and went plus-2 in Thursday's 6-5 overtime loss to the Sharks.
Parssinen has played in four straight games and has scored twice in that span. The 24-year-old is occupying a bottom-six spot but looks to have an edge over Jonny Brodzinski to stay in the lineup at this time. Parssinen has three points, four shots on net, six hits and a plus-3 rating across five appearances this season.

Mika Zibanejad C | NYR
Rangers' Mika Zibanejad: Strikes on power play
Zibanejad scored a power-play goal on two shots in Thursday's 6-5 overtime loss to the Sharks.
Zibanejad is gaining momentum with two goals and two helpers over his last three games. The 32-year-old hasn't been immune from the Rangers' inconsistent offense this season -- he has a total of five points with 33 shots on net, 11 hits, six blocked shots and a minus-4 rating over nine appearances. He was set for a smaller role initially but has filled in during all situations in the absence of Vincent Trocheck (upper body), who won't be back before early November.

Adam Gaudette C | SJ
Sharks' Adam Gaudette: Earns 100th career point
Gaudette scored a goal in Thursday's 6-5 overtime win over the Rangers.
Before the Sharks' youngsters took over the game, Gaudette got things going with a tally just 1:58 into the first period. It was Gaudette's 100th career point, a milestone he reached in 308 games over parts of eight seasons. The 29-year-old has done a decent job in a bottom-six role to start 2025-26, earning three goals, one assist, nine shots on net, six PIM and a minus-4 rating over seven appearances.
-
Casey Mittelstadt C | BOS
Bruins' Casey Mittelstadt: Opens scoring in loss
Mittelstadt scored a goal on two shots in Thursday's 7-5 loss to the Ducks.
Mittelstadt has three points over two games since he spent one contest in the press box. The 26-year-old forward seems to have benefited from a move to the wing after starting the season at center. He's up to three goals, five points, eight shots on net, four blocked shots and a minus-1 rating across eight appearances.

Pius Suter C | STL
Blues' Pius Suter: Finds twine Thursday
Suter scored a goal in Thursday's 7-4 loss to the Mammoth.
Suter found the back of the net for St. Louis' first tally of the game. Following the goal, a brawl ensued between both sides that led to a man advantage for Pavel Buchnevich to score minutes later. Thursday's goal was Suter's third marker of the season and fourth point overall. After a career year in Vancouver last season, his first campaign in St. Louis is off to a strong start. That early success might be marking the start of a second straight season in which he finishes with about 25 goals.

Oskar Sundqvist C | STL
Blues' Oskar Sundqvist: Two assists in season debut
Sundqvist tallied two assists and dished out three hits in Thursday's 7-4 loss to Utah.
Sundqvist was making his season debut after missing six games because of a lower-body injury. He found a way to make an impact right out of the gate by registering the primary helpers on third-period goals scored by Nathan Walker and Philip Broberg. It's a strong start for Sundqvist, who has tallied 20 or more points in each of the past four regular seasons. While his ceiling in fantasy is limited in a bottom-six role, he's had a role on the power play each of the past three seasons, making him an intriguing name to watch in deeper leagues that value banger stats.
