  • Oilers' Leon Draisaitl: Remains unavailable

Draisaitl (undisclosed) won't play against Winnipeg on Sunday and is questionable to face the Kings on Monday, according to head coach Kris Knoblauch.

Draisaitl may be out for the remainder of the regular season, making his availability for the beginning of the playoffs unclear. He will miss his fifth straight game versus the Jets on Sunday, and he has played in only three of Edmonton's last 11 games. Draisaitl has amassed 52 goals, 106 points and 240 shots on net in 71 appearances this season.

  • Zach Hyman C | EDM

    Oilers' Zach Hyman: Out Sunday

Hyman (undisclosed) will not play Sunday against the Jets.

After leaving Friday's game versus San Jose with an injury, Hyman will remain sidelined Sunday. The severity of the injury is still unclear, though Edmonton figures to play it safe with the 32-year-old winger ahead of the postseason. Hyman has 27 goals and 44 points in 73 games this year.

  • T.J. Tynan C | COL

    Avalanche's T.J. Tynan: Joining Avs

Tynan was recalled from AHL Colorado on Sunday.

Tynan appeared in eight NHL games early in the season, recording an assist, four hits and four blocked shots. The 33-year-old forward figures to provide depth in Sunday's regular-season finale against the Ducks with Nathan MacKinnon (undisclosed) sidelined.

  • Nick Cousins C | OTT

Senators' Nick Cousins: Activated from LTIR

Cousins (knee) was activated from long-term injured reserve Sunday, per the NHL media site.

Following a 30-game absence, Cousins will return to the lineup versus Philadelphia on Sunday. He has collected five goals, 13 points, 39 PIM, 80 hits and 63 shots on net across 47 appearances this season. Cousins could replace Matthew Highmore or Hayden Hodgson in a bottom-six role against the Flyers.

  • Lightning's Conor Geekie: Summoned from minors

Geekie was recalled from AHL Syracuse on Sunday.

Geekie has six goals, 12 points, 54 shots on net and 86 hits across 49 NHL appearances this season. He has added 11 goals and 20 points in 24 minor-league outings during the 2024-25 campaign. With Oliver Bjorkstrand (lower body) week-to-week, Geekie will play for the Lightning down the stretch and could receive his first taste of NHL playoff action.

  • Blackhawks' Connor Bedard: Sets career high in points

Bedard scored a power-play goal, tallied an assist and put three shots on net in Saturday's 5-4 shootout loss to Winnipeg.

Bedard found the back of the net on a power play in the first period before distributing the primary helper on Ryan Donato's game-tying goal in the third period. Even though Bedard then posted the first goal of the shootout with a wrist shot past Connor Hellebuyck, it wasn't enough as the Jets responded with back-to-back tallies to win the game. Overall, the 19-year-old Bedard has 21 goals, 42 assists and 191 shots on net in 80 appearances this season. While his point total from this season will be worse on a per-game basis than his rookie campaign, Bedard's 63 points this year represent a new career high. He's turned up the heat down the stretch with 11 points in his last 13 games, giving him a reason to hold his head high headed into year three with the Blackhawks.

  • Panthers' Carter Verhaeghe: Two points in Saturday's win

Verhaeghe scored a goal and added an assist in Saturday's 3-2 shootout win over the Sabres.

Both points came in the second period, as the 29-year-old got the Panthers on the board early in the frame before helping to set up a Jesse Puljujarvi tally. Verhaeghe has found the scoresheet in three straight appearances, breaking out of a slump that had seen him manage just one goal and three points in 16 games from March 1 into April, and Saturday's performance has put him over the 50-point mark for the fourth straight season.

  • Jordan Staal C | CAR

Hurricanes' Jordan Staal: Two points in Saturday's win

Staal picked up a goal and an assist in Saturday's 7-3 win over the Rangers.

Both points came in the third period as the Hurricanes fended off a late, and futile, comeback attempt by the desperate visitors. It was Staal's first multi-point performance since Jan. 23, and the 36-year-old is putting the finishing touches on another solid campaign as a reliable bottom-six center. Staal has 13 goals and 36 points in 74 appearances, and he's dished 133 hits. This is his his fifth straight season with at least 30 points and 10th straight season in the triple digits for hits. His plus-16 rating is also his best mark since 2009-10.

  • Seth Jarvis C | CAR

Hurricanes' Seth Jarvis: Three points against Blueshirts

Jarvis produced a goal and two assists in Saturday's 7-3 win over the Rangers.

He had a hand in each of Carolina's first three goals as the team jumped out to a 4-0 lead midway through the second period. Jarvis is building up significant momentum ahead of the playoffs -- the 23-year-old has five multi-point performances in the last eight games, amassing five goals and 12 points over that stretch. With three games left on the Hurricanes' regular-season schedule, Jarvis has some personal milestones in sight. He needs one more goal to tie the career-high 33 he scored last season, and four more points to reach 70 for the first time.

  • Rangers' Vincent Trocheck: Two-point effort against Canes

Trocheck picked up two assists, one on the power play, in Saturday's 7-3 loss to the Hurricanes.

Both helpers came in the third period after the Rangers were already down 5-1, a last gasp of competitiveness before the team was officially eliminated from playoff contention. Trocheck has done his best to keep New York afloat in recent weeks, with seven goals and 15 points over the last 15 games. The 31-year-old needs three more points in the Rangers' last two games to reach 60 for the third straight campaign.
