Red Wings' Tyler Motte: Tallies in Monday's win
Motte scored a goal on two shots, added four PIM and went plus-2 in Monday's 5-1 win over Utah.
Motte tallied late in the third period on a feed from Craig Smith. The 30-year-old Motte has seven points this season, three of which he's earned over his last nine outings. He's added 51 shots on net, 56 hits, 34 blocked shots and a minus-10 rating across 43 contests, primarily in a fourth-line role.

Isac Lundestrom C | CLB
Ducks' Isac Lundestrom: Under the weather
Lundestrom is contending with an illness and was not available for Tuesday's practice, according to Derek Lee of The Hockey News.
Sam Colangelo will draw into the lineup Wednesday against the Bruins if Lundestrom is unable to suit up. The 25-year-old Lundestrom has chipped in four goals and 14 points over 67 appearances in 2024-25.

Dawson Mercer C | NJ
Devils' Dawson Mercer: Helps out on power play
Mercer logged a power-play assist, two shots on goal and a minus-2 rating in Monday's 4-3 shootout loss to the Canucks.
Even with Jack Hughes (shoulder) out for the season, Mercer has struggled to make a larger impact on offense. Mercer has just four points to go with 19 shots on net, 14 blocked shots and a minus-4 rating over 12 games in March. Overall, the 23-year-old forward has 29 points, 118 shots on net, 54 blocks, 35 hits and a plus-4 rating through 72 contests. Mercer may struggle to match his promising 56-point 2022-23 campaign again, but he's evolved into a strong two-way forward.

Kyle Palmieri RW | NYI
Islanders' Kyle Palmieri: Lights lamp Monday
Palmieri scored a goal on three shots in Monday's 4-3 shootout loss to the Blue Jackets.
Palmieri has four goals and two assists over 12 outings in March. The winger has seen time on the top line in the absence of Mathew Barzal (kneecap), who may not return during the regular season. Palmieri's been more consistent in the middle six, but he's still an effective depth scorer for fantasy. Overall, he's up to 22 goals, 45 points, 143 shots on net, 47 hits, 37 blocked shots and a minus-6 rating through 70 contests.

Boone Jenner C | CLB
Blue Jackets' Boone Jenner: Nets shortie Monday
Jenner scored a shorthanded goal on three shots, added two hits and went plus-2 in Monday's 4-3 shootout win over the Islanders.
Jenner has scored in each of his last two games, so it looks like he's got his timing back after a lengthy absence due to a shoulder injury. The 31-year-old was playing at center, but he moved to the wing Monday, while Sean Monahan and Adam Fantilli centered the Blue Jackets' first two lines. Jenner has contributed 11 points, 35 shots on net and 28 hits over 14 appearances, so he could give fantasy managers a boost with offense and physicality.

Adam Fantilli C | CLB
Blue Jackets' Adam Fantilli: Pots goal in shootout win
Fantilli scored a goal on four shots and added four hits in Monday's 4-3 shootout win over the Islanders.
Fantilli snapped a five-game point drought with his second-period goal to get the Blue Jackets on the board. The 20-year-old was moved down to the second line to accommodate the return of Sean Monahan on the top line. Fantilli found some success with a larger role for most of Monahan's absence, but this was a line change that was likely overdue. Fantilli is now at 22 goals, 43 points, 160 shots on net, 100 hits, 51 blocked shots and a minus-4 rating through 70 appearances this season.

Colton Dach C | EDM
Blackhawks' Colton Dach: Set to miss more time
Dach (elbow) didn't participate in Tuesday's practice and a timeline for his return is unclear, Ben Pope of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.
Dach has sat out the last two games and will miss additional action. He has contributed two goals, five assists, 27 shots on net, 86 hits and 17 PIM across 25 NHL appearances this season. Due to Dach's absence, Patrick Maroon has occupied a bottom-six role in the lineup.

Jason Dickinson C | EDM
Blackhawks' Jason Dickinson: Done for season
Dickinson will miss the remainder of the 2024-25 campaign because of a wrist injury, according to Ben Pope of the Chicago Sun-Times on Tuesday.
Dickinson suffered the injury during Saturday's 4-1 loss to St. Louis. He'll finish the campaign with seven goals, 16 points, 38 PIM, 102 hits and 53 blocks in 59 appearances. Philipp Kurashev might play regularly for the remainder of the season due to Dickinson's absence.

Mikael Backlund C | CGY
Flames' Mikael Backlund: Not ready to return
Backlund (upper body) isn't expected to play Tuesday versus Seattle, per Pat Steinberg of Sportsnet 960 The Fan.
Backlund has 11 goals and 24 points in 64 appearances in 2024-25. He hasn't been in the lineup since March 12. When Backlund does return, he'll likely serve in a top-six capacity.

Marco Kasper C | DET
Red Wings' Marco Kasper: Scores in win over Utah
Kasper scored a goal in Monday's 5-1 win over Utah. He also recorded four hits, three blocked shots and a plus-2 rating.
Kasper has recorded four goals over his last six contests, and the 20-year-old continues to show promise as an interesting prospect who has adjusted well to playing in a top-six role. He has 28 points (14 goals, 14 assists) in 65 appearances in his first full year in the league.
