  • Andrew Peeke D | BOS

Bruins' Andrew Peeke: Fills empty cage

Peeke scored an empty-net goal and blocked four shots in Saturday's 4-1 win over the Devils.

Peeke went a month between points, posting a minus-4 rating with 20 hits and 24 blocked shots over his previous 13 games. The 27-year-old has never put up big scoring numbers, but he plays with enough grit to hold onto a top-four role while the Bruins are without Charlie McAvoy (face) and Henri Jokiharju (undisclosed). For the season, Peeke has five points, 33 shots on net, 42 hits, 67 blocks and a minus-6 rating through 30 appearances.

  • Blue Jackets' Damon Severson: Tallies on power play Saturday

Severson scored a power-play goal and went minus-2 in Saturday's 7-6 overtime loss to the Panthers.

Severson scored for the first time since Oct. 18 versus the Lightning. In the 22 contests between goals, he chipped in six assists. The 31-year-old has done enough to be a steady part of the Blue Jackets' top four and second power-play unit throughout the season. He's at nine points, 32 shots on net, 27 hits, 29 blocked shots and a plus-3 rating through 28 appearances. Severson will push to reach the 30-point mark for the first time in his Columbus tenure.

  • Seth Jones D | FLA

Panthers' Seth Jones: Earns two points Saturday

Jones scored a power-play goal on five shots, added an assist, logged two hits and went plus-3 in Saturday's 7-6 overtime win over the Blue Jackets.

Jones ended his four-game point drought with the effort. The 31-year-old's pair of points came as part of the Panthers' three-goal rally over a span of five minutes in the second period. The defenseman is up to four goals, 11 helpers, 50 shots on net, 28 hits, 31 blocked shots and a minus-3 rating over 27 appearances. Jones continues to see significant usage in the top four and on the first power-play unit.

  • Lightning's Steve Santini: Back to AHL

Santini has been re-assigned to AHL Syracuse, the Lightning announced Sunday.

Santini got into seven games in the few weeks he was at the NHL level, picking up an assist while averaging 12:01 of ice time per night. The 30-year-old was a healthy scratch the last two games, though. In the AHL with Syracuse, he has four assists in 13 games.

  • Stars' Nils Lundkvist : Ready for return

Lundkvist was activated off of long-term injured reserve by the Stars on Sunday.

Reinforcements are coming for the Stars, who also activated Matt Duchene (upper body) from LTIR. Lundkvist has been out of the lineup with a lower-body injury since early October, playing in only four games. In those contests, he recorded three points (one goal, two assists). The 25-year-old will provide a needed boost to the Dallas defense corps, which is still without Thomas Harley (lower body) and Lian Bichsel (lower body). Lundkvist is expected to play Sunday against the Penguins.

  • John Carlson D | ANA

    Capitals' John Carlson: Game-time decision

Carlson (upper body) will be a game-time decision against Columbus on Sunday, according to Sammi Silber of The Hockey News.

Carlson was on the ice with the team's expected scratches Sunday morning, which may not bode well for his availability, but it doesn't necessarily rule out a return to the lineup. He has amassed six goals, 23 points, 59 shots on net and 38 blocked shots through 26 appearances this season. If Carlson plays following a two-game absence, Declan Chisholm will probably be a healthy scratch versus the Blue Jackets on Sunday.

  • Blue Jackets' Ivan Provorov: Two helpers in OT loss

Provorov pocketed two assists, one on the power play, in Saturday's 7-6 overtime loss to the Panthers.

The veteran blueliner had a hand in the Blue Jackets' first two tallies in the wild afternoon contest. It was Provorov's first multi-point performance of the season, but he's gotten onto the scoresheet in three straight games, giving him four goals and 11 points in 28 games with 56 shots on net, 45 blocked shots and a plus-6 rating to begin 2025-26.

  • Canucks' Elias Pettersson: Deposits go-ahead goal in win

Pettersson scored a goal and went plus-3 in Saturday's 4-2 win over the Wild.

Pettersson ended an 11-game point drought with the tally. The 21-year-old has seen fairly limited usage this season, and he's still prone to getting scratched on occasion. Pettersson has a goal, three points, 16 shots on net, 33 hits, 33 blocked shots and a minus-2 rating over 26 appearances this season, numbers nearly identical to what he did over 28 outings in 2024-25.

  • Canucks' Tom Willander: Nets first career goal in win

Willander scored a goal on two shots, added an assist and went plus-3 in Saturday's 4-2 win over the Wild.

Willander tied the game at 1-1 with his tally midway through the second period. He also set up Elias Pettersson's go-ahead goal a couple of minutes later. The goal was the first of Willander's career, and he continues to do fairly well in a limited role on the third pairing. He's at eight points, 14 shots on net, 18 blocked shots and a plus-3 rating over 19 appearances.

  • Cale Fleury D | SEA

Kraken's Cale Fleury: Stuck in press box

Fleury was scratched for the 19th game in a row in Saturday's 4-3 loss to the Red Wings.

The Kraken made a rare change on defense, but it was to get Josh Mahura a game while Jamie Oleksiak was scratched. Fleury is at the bottom of the depth chart with Seattle carrying eight blueliners, so it doesn't look like he'll have a clear path to playing time any time soon. He could be a candidate for a conditioning loan in the AHL at some point if the Kraken don't want to risk losing Fleury on waivers.
