Jones missed Friday's game, and it appears his status for Saturday night's matchup against the Wild is in question as well. Ethan Del Mastro figures to remain in the lineup if Jones can't suit up.

Pickering was reassigned to AHL Wilkes-Barre on Saturday.
Pickering's appeared in 25 games for the Penguins this year, logging a goal, three points and a minus-5 rating. The rookie blueliner will likely focus on developing while seeing increased ice time in the AHL, though he could very well return to Pittsburgh later this season. Forward Bokondji Imama was recalled in a corresponding move.

Senators' Nick Jensen: Ruled out next two games
Jensen (undisclosed) won't play Saturday against Toronto and Sunday against Utah, TSN 1200 Ottawa reports.
Jensen was injured Thursday against the Bruins in the third period. The 34-year-old veteran has three goals, 15 assists and 42 hits in 48 contests this season. Jake Sanderson (lower body) and Travis Hamonic (lower body) will return to the lineup against Toronto on Saturday.

Senators' Travis Hamonic: Returning Saturday
Hamonic (lower body) will be activated from injured reserve ahead of his return to action Saturday against the Maple Leafs, TSN 1200 Ottawa reports.
The Senators will get some reinforcements back on the blue line Saturday due to the returns of Hamonic and Jake Sanderson (lower body). Hamonic missed Ottawa's previous 10 contests after logging three assists in his first 37 games this season.

Senators' Jake Sanderson: Good to go Saturday
Sanderson (lower body) will play Saturday against Toronto, per TSN 1200 Ottawa.
Sanderson will rejoin the Senators after missing just one game with the injury. The 22-year-old blueliner has two goals, 25 points and a minus-17 rating through 47 games this season. Sanderson will return to the top pairing and could see time on the first power-play unit versus the Maple Leafs on Saturday.

Blue Jackets' Denton Mateychuk: Returning to action Saturday
Mateychuk (illness) will return to the lineup versus the Kings on Saturday, Mark Scheig of The Hockey Writers reports.
The highly-regarded defenseman missed the last three games with the illness. Mateychuk has one goal, two assists and 21 blocked shots in 12 games this season. He will play alongside Ivan Provorov on the second pairing.

Hockey Club's John Marino: Deals assist in loss
Marino notched an assist and two hits in Friday's 5-2 loss to the Jets.
Marino has picked up two helpers over six outings since returning from a lower-back surgery. The 27-year-old saw 22:56 of ice time Friday, his second-highest total so far. Marino has added six shots on net, two hits, eight blocked shots and a plus-2 rating. He should continue to see top-four minutes and may offer enough offense to be an option in deep fantasy formats.

Hockey Club's Michael Kesselring: Registers power-play helper
Kesselring managed a power-play assist and went minus-2 in Friday's 5-2 loss to the Jets.
Kesselring has four points, including two on the power play, over his last seven contests. This was also the first time he's taken a minus rating in that span. The 25-year-old blueliner continues to see top-four minutes and has also played on the top power-play unit during Mikhail Sergachev's (upper body) absence. Kesselring has 19 points (three on the power play), 91 shots on net, 55 hits, 41 blocked shots, 56 PIM and a plus-11 rating through 48 appearances.

Pionk managed an assist, three shots on goal and a plus-2 rating in Friday's 5-2 win over Utah.
Pionk has earned four points over his last six outings. He assisted on the empty-netter that secured a hat trick for Cole Perfetti in this contest. Pionk is up to 32 points through 50 appearances -- he's one point shy of matching his output from the entirety of the 2023-24 regular season. The blueliner has added 81 shots on net, 77 blocked shots, 76 hits, 34 PIM and a plus-9 rating in his usual second-pairing role.
