Hofer will make his fifth start in the Blues' last seven games. He is 7-7-2 with three shutouts, a 2.91 GAA and an .898 save percentage, challenging Jordan Binnington for the top job in St. Louis. The Predators have won seven of 10 games, including three straight, going into Saturday's action.

Ducks' Lukas Dostal: Starting Saturday
Dostal will tend the road crease in Los Angeles on Saturday, according to Derek Lee of The Hockey News.
Dostal is 13-8-1 with a 2.87 GAA and an .899 save percentage over 22 starts this season. Dostal was outstanding versus the Kings last season, stopping 74 of 77 shots while posting a 1-1-0 record. The Kings have had trouble finding the back of the net, as they are tied with St. Louis at the bottom of the rankings, generating 2.50 goals per game.

Canadiens' Sam Montembeault: Back from conditioning loan
Montembeault (not injured related) was recalled from his conditioning assignment with AHL Laval on Saturday.
Montembeault went 0-2-0 with a 2.53 GAA and a .904 save percentage in two appearances at the AHL level. He has a 5-6-1 record with a 3.65 GAA and an .857 save percentage in 15 NHL outings this season. Montembeault has a challenging task ahead of him as he attempts to wrestle playing time away from Jakub Dobes and Jacob Fowler in a crowded Montreal crease.

Korpisalo will be between the visiting pipes in Buffalo on Saturday, per Heather Engel of NHL.com.
Korpisalo is coming off his worst performance of the season, as he gave up five goals on 17 shots in a 6-2 loss to Ottawa on Sunday. Korpisalo is 6-7-0 with a 3.63 GAA and an .880 save percentage over 14 games this season. The Sabres are the hottest team in the NHL, winners of seven straight games.

Walledstedt will guard the visiting goal in Winnipeg on Saturday, Michael Russo of The Athletic reports.
Wallestedt picked up only his second loss of the season Sunday, giving up four goals on 41 shots in a 5-1 loss to mighty Colorado. Overall, the netminder is 10-2-2 with four shutouts, a 2.10 GAA and a .933 save percentage over 14 games this season. The Jets are generating 2.91 goals per game this season, 21st in the NHL.

Wolf gave up five goals on 39 shots in a 5-1 loss to Edmonton on Tuesday and will try to make amends at home. Wolf is 11-14-2 with a pair of shutouts, a 3.00 GAA and an .895 save percentage over 28 NHL appearances this season. The Oilers have been flexing their muscles of late and have moved up to third in NHL scoring, averaging 3.42 goals per contest.

Oettinger will patrol the home crease against Chicago on Saturday, Owen Newkirk of DLLS Sports reports.
Oettinger has won his last two outings while turning aside 61 of the 65 shots he has faced. He has a 16-6-2 record with two shutouts, a 2.50 GAA and a .910 save percentage through 24 appearances. Chicago sits 26th in the league with 2.75 goals per game this year.
