Joel Hofer G | STL
Blues' Joel Hofer: Impressive against Ottawa
Hofer made 41 saves and allowed one goal in Saturday's 2-1 win over the Senators.
Hofer had one of his best performances of the season Saturday, as he was under heavy pressure all game long but still denied the Senators time and time again to earn the win. The only time Hofer was beaten came in the third period, when Fabian Zetterlund's wrister went past him during a power play. Hofer has made 78 saves and allowed two goals over his last three appearances.

Jeremy Swayman G | BOS
Bruins' Jeremy Swayman: Cruises to win Saturday
Swayman stopped 29 of 30 shots in Saturday's 4-1 win over the Devils.
Swayman bounced back from an ugly showing in the 5-4 loss to the Red Wings on Dec. 2 and notched another impressive outing to get back to winning ways. Over his last 10 appearances, Swayman has gone 7-3-0 with a 2.34 GAA and an impressive .926 save percentage.

Jake Allen G | NJ
Devils' Jake Allen: Beaten three times Saturday
Allen stopped 17 of 20 shots in Saturday's 4-1 loss to the Bruins. The fourth goal was an empty-netter.
Allen has dropped three of his last four starts, although the only win in that span was a stellar 42-save shutout against the Sabres on Nov. 28. In the other three outings, however, Allen recorded a save percentage of .850 or lower. On the season, Allen has an 8-6-0 record with a 2.52 GAA and a .908 save percentage, fueled by a strong start that has since faded.

Jesper Wallstedt G | MIN
Wild's Jesper Wallstedt: Falters against Canucks
Wallstedt stopped 16 of 20 shots in Saturday's 4-2 loss to the Canucks.
Facing a team depleted by injuries, this was a disappointing performance for Wallstedt. He hadn't allowed more than three goals in any game during his seven-game winning streak, which was snapped Saturday with his first regulation loss of the season. He's now at an 8-1-2 record with a 1.95 GAA and a .936 save percentage. Bouncing back is critical for young goalies, and fantasy managers will want to see Wallstedt do well in that regard. The Wild have alternated goalies, so it's likely to be Filip Gustavsson starting in Seattle on Monday while Wallstedt would get a tough assignment Thursday at home versus the Stars.

Nikita Tolopilo G | VAN
Canucks' Nikita Tolopilo: Steps up in win
Tolopilo stopped 28 of 30 shots in Saturday's 4-2 win over the Wild.
Tolopilo was sharp in this outing and got enough help from his teammates to come away with the win. He allowed the first and last goals in the game, but the Canucks had the four in the middle. Tolopilo is 2-1-0 with nine goals allowed on 95 shots over his first three outings this season. He'll likely be with the team until Thatcher Demko (lower body) is healthy again, which may not take much longer, as Demko is targeting Thursday's game versus the Sabres for his return.

Joey Daccord G | SEA
Kraken's Joey Daccord: Yields four goals in loss
Daccord allowed four goals on 25 shots in Saturday's 4-3 loss to the Red Wings.
Daccord is in a rough skid with four straight regulation losses. He's allowed 16 goals on just 85 shots in that span. The slump has him down to a 7-7-4 record with a 2.99 GAA and an .891 save percentage across 18 starts. The Kraken are set to face the Wild on Monday. With Daccord slumping, it wouldn't be surprising to see Philipp Grubauer get a start in the near future.

John Gibson G | DET
Red Wings' John Gibson: Allows three goals in win
Gibson stopped 24 of 27 shots in Saturday's 4-3 win over the Kraken.
It was a back-and-forth game, and Patrick Kane's tally late in the third period was what made Gibson a winner. While he's allowed 22 goals over his last five games, Gibson has won two straight starts. He has alternated starts over the past week-plus with Cam Talbot, which is likely the best arrangement for both of them to stay productive. Gibson is 6-7-1 with a 3.58 GAA and an .869 save percentage over 15 starts this season. If the goaltending pattern holds, Talbot would play Monday in Vancouver while Gibson would get the nod Wednesday in Calgary in the first half of a back-to-back.

Thomas Milic G | WPG
Jets' Thomas Milic: Needed in relief Saturday
Milic stopped nine of 11 shots in relief of Eric Comrie in Saturday's 6-2 loss to the Oilers.
Comrie was stuck with the loss after a poor first period, but Milic didn't fare much better even as the Oilers eased up over the final two frames. Milic has made two relief appearances in the last four games. He's now allowed eight goals on 62 shots over three NHL outings. The Jets are spiraling without Connor Hellebuyck (knee), but Milic hasn't shown enough to earn a larger share of playing time as the team tries to tread water for the next month or so.

Eric Comrie G | WPG
Jets' Eric Comrie: Hit hard in first period
Comrie stopped 12 of 16 shots before he was replaced by Thomas Milic in Saturday's 6-2 loss to the Oilers.
Comrie was starting for the second day in a row and the third time in four days, and the results went as expected. He wasn't able to hold back the Oilers' top players in the first period, and he left with the Jets in a 4-0 hole that they never fully recovered from. Comrie is down to 6-6-1 with a 3.08 GAA and an .898 save percentage through 13 appearances. While the playing time is there, the results are not, which makes the 30-year-old netminder a risky option in fantasy. The Jets' schedule doesn't get any easier, though they'll be at home for games versus the Stars on Tuesday, the Bruins on Thursday and the Capitals on Saturday over the next week.

Stuart Skinner G | PIT
Oilers' Stuart Skinner: Notches 10th win
Skinner stopped 19 of 21 shots in Saturday's 6-2 win over the Jets.
Skinner has alternated wins and losses over his last six games. He's given up 15 goals in that span, which includes his lone shutout of the season. The 27-year-old is at 10-8-3 with a 2.86 GAA and an .889 save percentage through 21 starts. The Oilers' offense has 19 goals over its last four games, and if the team is heating up, that'll make it easier for Skinner to at least collect wins even if his ratios remain mediocre. The Oilers have a favorable home matchup ahead as they host the Sabres on Tuesday, though Buffalo tagged Skinner for four goals on 27 shots in a 5-1 loss for Edmonton on Nov. 17.
