Honestly, we wonder how he stayed awake Saturday -- the Rangers were in a complete slumber. The only goal that got past him was a deflection off J.T. Miller's skate from the slot. Johansson has won two straight games; he allowed three goals on 32 shots in a win over the Capitals on Nov. 22.

Hofer is set to start at home against Utah on Saturday, per Lou Korac of NHL.com.

Hofer hasn't earned a win since Nov. 6, going 0-2-2 with a 3.46 GAA and an .876 save percentage in four appearances since his last victory. Hildeby will get the second half of Toronto's back-to-back after Joseph Woll played in Friday's 4-2 loss to Washington. The 24-year-old Hildeby has gone 0-2-1 while allowing 12 goals on 128 shots in five NHL appearances this season. Pittsburgh is tied for ninth in the league with 3.13 goals per game this campaign.

Silovs will patrol the home crease against Toronto on Saturday, Penguins play-by-play announcer Josh Getzoff reports.

Silovs will get the second half of Pittsburgh's back-to-back after Tristan Jarry played in Friday's 4-3 overtime win over Columbus.
