  • Blackhawks' Spencer Knight: Extends winning streak

Knight stopped 21 of 24 shots in Tuesday's 7-3 win over the Senators.

Knight has earned the win in each of his last three starts while allowing three or fewer goals each time, so the 24-year-old netminder is clearly trending in the right direction. He's posted an excellent .936 save percentage and a 1.97 GAA over that three-game winning run, which includes victories over the Ducks, Lightning and Senators.

  • Senators' Linus Ullmark: Beaten six times in blowout loss

Ullmark stopped 19 of 25 shots in Tuesday's 7-3 loss to Chicago. The seventh goal was an empty-netter in the third period.

Ullmark surrendered three goals in the first period, one in the second and two in the final frame before Frank Nazar's empty-netter at the 12:44 mark. Ullmark has given up at least six goals in a game two times this season, and it abruptly ended his three-game streak of allowing three or fewer tallies. The lack of consistency on a game-to-game basis has hurt Ullmark's upside, but his role as the Senators' No. 1 goaltender is not under any risk. In nine games, he's gone 4-4-1 with a 3.44 GAA and an .858 save percentage.

  • Blues' Jordan Binnington: Struggles against low volume

Binnington stopped 15 of 19 shots in Tuesday's 5-2 loss to the Red Wings. The fifth goal was an empty-netter.

Binnington allowed a pair of goals in each of the first two periods as his struggles in the crease continued. Overall, the 32-year-old goaltender has a 2-4-0 record with a 3.27 GAA and an .863 save percentage. His run of four appearances from Oct. 13-21, during which he had two wins and a .928 save percentage, is being overshadowed by his recent losses. Between Binnington and Joel Hofer, St. Louis has seen its fair share of inconsistencies from the goaltending tandem. However, Binnington's track record gives him plenty of bounce-back appeal.

  • John Gibson G | DET

Red Wings' John Gibson: Picks up second straight win

Gibson made 20 out of 22 saves in Tuesday's 5-2 win over the Blues.

Outside of an early goal from Brayden Schenn and a late twine finder from Jordan Kyrou, Gibson was steady, which allowed the Wings to pick up their second consecutive win. The 32-year-old Gibson has a 4-2-0 record with an .876 save percentage and a 3.20 GAA. Tuesday's performance was one of his strongest outings of the year, and he's beginning to provide a premium in the win column for fantasy managers. He's appeared in five of Detroit's last six games, and his success in that run is beginning to cement his hold on the starting spot over Cam Talbot.

  • Flames' Ivan Prosvetov: Earns first shutout of AHL season

Prosvetov posted a 33-save shutout in AHL Calgary's 3-0 win over Abbotsford on Tuesday.

Prosvetov is 2-1-1 with a 3.49 GAA and an .897 save percentage through his first four games with the Wranglers. He'll need to make outings like Tuesday's a more regular occurrence if he's going to make a challenge to Devin Cooley's spot as the backup to Dustin Wolf on the Flames' roster. Prosvetov and Owen Say will likely continue to split time with the AHL club.

  • Sharks' Yaroslav Askarov: Not sharp enough Tuesday

Askarov allowed four goals on 14 shots in Tuesday's 4-3 loss to the Kings.

The Sharks dominated possession, but Askarov wasn't good enough on the few chances the Kings accumulated. The four goals didn't even come from the Kings' best players. It was a pair of fourth-liners and two defensemen who carried the offense. Askarov continues to offer subpar goaltending, though this is part of the growing pains as the Sharks attempt to become more competitive. He is 1-4-1 with a 4.69 GAA and an .844 save percentage this season. The Sharks host the Devils on Thursday.

  • Kings' Darcy Kuemper: Faces heavy pressure in win

Kuemper stopped 37 of 40 shots in Tuesday's 4-3 win over the Sharks.

The Kings took a 3-0 lead in the second period, but the Sharks didn't back down. They were able to tie the game, but Brandt Clarke scored at 13:20, and Kuemper made the lead hold from there. This was Kuemper's third win in his last four starts, and the 40 shots he faced were a season high. The 35-year-old is now 3-2-2 with a 2.81 GAA and an .895 save percentage over seven starts. The Kings' five-game road trip is over, and they'll get settled back in at home with a tough matchup against the Red Wings on Thursday.

  • Joey Daccord G | SEA

Kraken's Joey Daccord: Takes overtime loss

Daccord stopped 17 of 21 shots in Tuesday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Canadiens.

Daccord allowed the first three goals of the game, and while the Kraken overcame that deficit, Cole Caufield got the best of him a second time in overtime. Aside from a spike in scoring in the third period, this was a fairly low-event game, which is reflected in the 21 shots Daccord faced, matching his season low. The 29-year-old is now at 5-1-2 on the year with a 2.68 GAA and a .905 save percentage through eight starts. The Kraken host the low-scoring Rangers on Saturday, which would be a favorable matchup for Daccord should he draw the start.

  • Jakub Dobes G | MON

Canadiens' Jakub Dobes: Wins in overtime after late fade

Dobes gave up three goals on 21 shots in Tuesday's 4-3 overtime win over the Kraken.

Dobes gave up all three goals in the third period, squandering the Canadiens' 3-0 lead. His record remains spotless because of Cole Caufield's overtime tally. Dobes is now 6-0-0 with a 1.97 GAA and a .930 save percentage this season, and he's started four of the Canadiens' last five games. It's quickly looking like head coach Martin St. Louis will ride the hot hand between the pipes. The Canadiens return home to face the Senators on Saturday, which could be a contentious matchup based on their preseason meetings.

  • Rangers' Jonathan Quick: Shuts out Canucks

Quick posted a 23-save shutout in Tuesday's 2-0 win over the Canucks.

Quick has won two of his three starts this season and was unlucky in his one loss. He's allowed just four goals on 68 shots, providing effective backup goaltending to afford Igor Shesterkin a rest about once a week or so. Quick is a worthy streaming candidate any time he gets the nod, though wins could be tough to come by as the Rangers remain light on offense. It's unclear when he might make his next start, as there are no back-to-back sets within the next week on the Rangers' schedule.
