  • Jake Allen G | NJ

Devils' Jake Allen: In goal Friday

Allen will get the starting nod at home versus the Penguins on Friday, Amanda Stein of the Devils' official site reports.

Allen will make his 30th appearance in the crease for the Devils this season, having gone 12-15-1 with a 2.59 GAA and four shutouts along the way. With another back-to-back to end the year, Allen figures to get at least one more start before the end of the regular season -- likely either Tuesday or Wednesday against the Bruins or Red Wings, respectively.

  • Jet Greaves G | CLB

Blue Jackets' Jet Greaves: Impressive in Thursday's win

Greaves made 39 saves in Thursday's 3-2 win over the Sabres.

Buffalo jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the first period, but Greaves shut the door the rest of the way and gave his squad a chance to mount a comeback. The win was the 24-year-old goalie's first in the NHL since Jan. 11. Since the Blue Jackets' playoff hopes are hanging by a thread in addition to Elvis Merzlikins battling an undisclosed injury, coach Dean Evason may elect to see if Greaves can help spark a miracle finish to what's already been an improbable season. Columbus sits six points back of Montreal for the final wild-card spot in the Eastern Conference, with each team having four games left on its schedule.

  • James Reimer G | OTT

Sabres' James Reimer: Win streak ends Thursday

Reimer turned aside 27 shots in Thursday's 3-2 loss to the Blue Jackets.

The Sabres grabbed a 2-0 lead in the first period, but the team's offense went cold after that as the Jackets came roaring back in the third. Reimer saw his seven-game win streak snapped, but he's still allowed more than three goals only once in nine outings since taking over as Buffalo's No. 1 netminder, posting a 2.55 GAA and .916 save percentage during that stretch.

  • Bruins' Jeremy Swayman: Fades late in Thursday's loss

Swayman stopped 16 of 20 shots in Thursday's 5-2 loss to Chicago, with the final goal by the Hawks getting scored into an empty net.

The game was tied 1-1 heading into the third period, but Chicago somehow scored on its only four shots in the final frame to put the game away. Swayman is having a miserable end to his first full season as the Bruins' No. 1 goalie, going 2-8-0 over his last 10 outings with a 3.93 GAA and .869 save percentage.

  • Blackhawks' Arvid Soderblom: Busy in Thursday's win

Soderblom made 31 saves in Thursday's 5-2 win over the Bruins.

Four third-period goals by Chicago gave Soderblom more than enough offensive support to secure his first win since March 1. The 25-year-old netminder had also given up three goals or more in all six of his March outings, stumbling to a 4.13 GAA and .852 save percentage on the month. While Spencer Knight has seen the bulk of the work since being acquired from Florida, Soderblom will likely get one more turn in the crease this season -- Chicago wraps up its schedule with back-to-back road games Monday and Tuesday in Montreal and Ottawa, respectively.

  • Lukas Dostal G | ANA

Ducks' Lukas Dostal: Takes blowout loss to rivals

Dostal stopped 23 of 29 shots in Thursday's 6-1 loss to the Kings.

The final Freeway Face-Off of the season went heavily in favor of the Kings, while Dostal allowed six goals for the second time in three starts. It's possible a heavy workload down the stretch is catching up with him, but the Ducks have been missing John Gibson to various injuries, including his current lower-body issue, over the better part of the last two months. Dostal is now 23-22-6 with a 3.11 GAA and a .903 save percentage across 52 outings this season. The Ducks' next game is their home finale versus the Avalanche on Sunday.

  • Kings' Darcy Kuemper: Back to winning ways

Kuemper stopped 24 of 25 shots in Thursday's 6-1 win over the Ducks.

This was Kuemper's 15th straight game allowing two or fewer goals, a span in which he is 11-3-1. He bounced back from Monday's narrow loss to the Kraken, which was just his third in regulation on home ice this year. Kuemper is up to 29-11-7 with a 2.01 GAA and a .922 save percentage over 48 appearances this season. The Kings are likely to end up running into the Oilers in the first round for a fourth straight year, and it'll be on Kuemper to help them avenge three straight series losses. Before that, the Kings have four regular-season games to get through, including a home matchup versus the Avalanche on Saturday.

  • Joey Daccord G | SEA

Kraken's Joey Daccord: Loses close game

Daccord gave up two goals on 25 shots in Thursday's 2-1 loss to the Golden Knights.

Daccord has started five straight games in April, going 3-2-0 with 11 goals allowed, though seven of them were in Tuesday's game in Utah. The 28-year-old netminder will not be able to reach the 30-win mark after Thursday's loss dropped him to 27-22-5 with two contests left on the Kraken's schedule. He's added a 2.69 GAA and a .908 save percentage over 56 appearances. Philipp Grubauer (illness) was cleared to back up Thursday, but it's unclear if he'll play Saturday versus the Blues or Tuesday against the Kings.

  • Islanders' Marcus Hogberg: Swamped by Rangers

Hogberg surrendered eight goals in Thursday's 9-2 loss to the Rangers.

Hogberg got the nod with Ilya Sorokin (upper body) on the shelf. However, Hogberg wasn't particularly effective. Even if he sees an uptick in playing time late in the regular season, fantasy managers should avoid him, as he last won Jan. 18, and he's gone 0-3-2 with a 4.68 GAA and .840 save percentage over seven appearances since then.

  • Adin Hill G | LV

Golden Knights' Adin Hill: Steady in win

Hill stopped 24 of 25 shots in Thursday's 2-1 win over the Kraken.

Hill has won seven of his last nine outings, and this was the fourth time in that stretch he's allowed just one goal. It was a fluky one that broke up his shutout bid Thursday, as Jared McCann poked home the puck amid a scramble near the net. Hill is up to 31-13-5 with a 2.46 GAA and a .908 save percentage over 49 starts this season. He has alternated starts with Akira Schmid lately -- if that workload pattern continues, Schmid would play Saturday versus the Predators, and Hill would be in line to start Tuesday against the Flames, though it's unclear if Ilya Samsonov (upper body) will be ready to return prior to either of those games.
