Jacob Markstrom G | NJ
Devils' Jacob Markstrom: Takes SO loss against former club
Markstrom turned aside 25 shots in regulation and overtime and two of four shootout attempts in Monday's 4-3 loss to the Canucks.
Facing the team he spent six-plus seasons with earlier in his career, Markstrom saw a win slip through his fingers when Conor Garland got his stick on the puck during a mad scramble in the crease with just 36 seconds left in the third period. The 35-year-old netminder then got out-dueled in the shootout by Thatcher Demko. Markstrom has only one win in his last seven starts, going 1-5-1 with a 4.00 GAA and .843 save percentage in March.

Andrei Vasilevskiy G | TB
Lightning's Andrei Vasilevskiy: Set to start Tuesday
Vasilevskiy is expected to start at home against Pittsburgh on Tuesday, per Gabby Shirley of FanDuel Sports Network Florida & Sun.
Vasilevskiy has a 33-19-3 record, 2.25 GAA and .919 save percentage in 55 appearances in 2024-25. He saw his three-game winning streak end when he stopped 26 of 29 shots en route to a 4-2 loss to Vegas in his last start Sunday. Pittsburgh ranks 18th in goals per game with 2.94.

Thatcher Demko G | VAN
Canucks' Thatcher Demko: Nabs shootout win in return
Demko stopped 22 shots in regulation and overtime and three of four shootout attempts in Monday's 4-3 win over the Devils.
Seeing his first action since Feb. 8 after recovering from a lower-body injury, Demko secured a crucial win for the Canucks as they push for a wild-card spot. The 29-year-old netminder has had a tough campaign due to injuries, but with Kevin Lankinen struggling in March (4-5-1 with a 2.91 GAA and .873 save percentage), the door is open for Demko to move into a timeshare or even reclaim the starting job if he can stay healthy.

Jonas Johansson G | TB
Lightning's Jonas Johansson: Returns from absence
Johansson (personal) rejoined the Lightning on Tuesday, per Benjamin Pierce of the Lightning's official site.
Brandon Halverson, who was called up from the minors due to the absence of Johansson, was one of three goaltenders who attended Tampa Bay's morning skate, so it's not clear if Johansson will draw into the lineup versus the Penguins on Tuesday, but Johansson should at least be an option now that he's back with the team. Johansson has a 7-5-2 record, 3.12 GAA and .896 save percentage in 15 outings in 2024-25.

Petr Mrazek G | ANA
Red Wings' Petr Mrazek: Injured in Utah
Mrazek (undisclosed) will not return to Monday's game in Utah.
Mrazek was injured less than two minutes into the contest and was immediately replaced in goal by Alex Lyon. The Red Wings have Cam Talbot on the roster in addition to Lyon, so they wouldn't need to recall a goaltender from the minors if Mrazek is forced to miss any time. Detroit concludes its road trip Tuesday in Colorado, so an update on the 33-year-old's status may not be known until the club returns home.

Thatcher Demko G | VAN
Canucks' Thatcher Demko: Starting against New Jersey
Demko will be between the road pipes against the Devils on Monday, Mike Morreale of NHL.com reports.
Demko was activated off injured reserve earlier Monday after missing 15 games due to a lower-body injury. The 29-year-old has been inconsistent since the start of the calendar year, going 4-5-0 with a 2.51 GAA and .900 save percentage over 11 appearances. The Devils are averaging 2.96 goals per game this season, which ranks 17th in the NHL.

Thatcher Demko G | VAN
Canucks' Thatcher Demko: Removed from IR
Demko (lower body) was activated from injured reserve Monday.
After missing the last 15 games, Demko will return to the lineup in Monday's road game against New Jersey, and it wouldn't be surprising if he got the start. He has posted a 6-6-3 record with one shutout, a 2.87 GAA and an .891 save percentage through 17 appearances this season.

Eric Comrie G | WPG
Jets' Eric Comrie: Subpar showing Sunday
Comrie stopped 12 of 16 shots in Sunday's 5-3 loss to the Sabres.
Comrie had won his previous two starts, but he wasn't able to extend that run, and he delivered a subpar showing in this contest by any standard you want to look at it. This was the first game he posted a save percentage below the .860 mark -- it's not like he's been having a woeful season, so fantasy managers shouldn't overreact to just one bad game from a backup netminder. Depending on how the playoff race shakes out, Comrie should get at least one or two more starts before the end of the regular season, though his workload is likely to depend on how the Jets want to approach giving Connor Hellebuyck rest heading into the postseason.

James Reimer G | OTT
Sabres' James Reimer: Earns win in spot start
Reimer stopped 33 of 36 shots in Sunday's 5-3 win over the Jets.
Reimer has started in two of the Sabres' last three games, giving up three goals each time but going 1-1-0 in that span. The 37-year-old veteran has made just five starts since the beginning of February, and while he hasn't exactly turned heads with his play, he's posted solid numbers. Reimer has gone 2-2-1 with a 2.90 GAA and a .903 save percentage over that span.

Spencer Knight G | CHI
Blackhawks' Spencer Knight: Wins despite conceding four
Knight stopped 24 of 28 shots in Sunday's 7-4 win over the Flyers.
Knight finally snapped his four-game losing skid Sunday and got back to winning ways, although the performance wasn't his best, so fantasy managers still can't trust the 23-year-old in most matchups. Over his last five outings, Knight has gone 1-4-0 with a 3.45 GAA and a subpar .873 save percentage.
